Support and comfort all in one house shoe. I work from home, and have plantar fasciitis (so I can't go barefoot anymore). I was looking for a comfortable shoe for the cooler months for wearing inside the house (I wear FitFlops all summer!), that I can slip on and off easily. This shoe more than fits the bill: very comfortable; terry lining will be just warm enough (fleece or sheepskin would be too warm); can wear without socks (it has odor-control features) or can wear with thin socks when it's colder. The style is pretty cute, too! I typically wear a 7 - 7.5 and have somewhat wide feet; based on reviews I purchased this shoe in a size 8 so it fits, but is roomy enough for me to wear with my orthotics and thin socks. As stated in other reviews, the back is high, which is another reason I'm glad I didn't get a size 7. That would have been more snug, would have been harder to slip on, and the back height would have bugged my Achilles tendons.

I was looking for a comfortable, durable pair of slippers that I could go outside in, to get the mail and such, and these are great! They are a little bit roomy, probably from some stretching, but that’s good if you wear a lightweight sock with your slippers like I do. Otherwise they are very true to size, attractive, and comfortable. Never had tried that brand before, but I’m glad I did.

Felt great as soon as I put them on! I love the inserts they come with. My UGG moccasins really aggravated my planters fasciitis. These give me just enough support. These are my second pair of Old Friend mocs. I bought the same style with sheepskin lining and they are great too. I think these shoes are a great value. They are half the price of UGG's.>

I just about gave up finding a comfortable slipper. These are great!! Fit very true to size so my foot doesn't slip around and I love the rubber sole.

Very nice, but...
I thought I'd found a winner, but after wearing these slippers for a short time, I discovered that they come up too high in the back for my short heel. Sadly, I will be returning them.

Just not made the right way for me -
These are good quality, nice looking, but I wear a size 7.5 and with leather I felt like they would stretch out, but they are so tall on the back of my heel, they rub a blister. Maybe I should have ordered an 8?

I liked these slippers, but they come up too far on my ankles which are swollen and tender most days. Otherwise they fit well in length. They do gap open on sides when I put my weight on my feet, which I didn't like.

I have to wear slippers that have arch supports and these fill that need. I find them very comfortable and the soles do double duty when I wear them outside to get the paper or mail. They are very long wearing and I'm on my third pair because I wear them all the time when I am at home. I hope they never stop making them.

I really love these slippers! They are very sturdy and comfy! I wear anywhere from a 6.5 to a 7.5 in shoes and the size 7 fits perfect.

These slippers are the best. Comfy, can go outside, and they fit great. In fact, I forgot I had them on and drove to a store, and wasn't the least bit embarrassed to have them on shopping. They are so much like shoes. I sure hope they are still around when I need a replacement pair.

GREAT SHOE/MOCCASINS!!
I have wanted a pair of Old Friend Terry’s for a long time but felt they were too expensive. I had a credit with Zappos (A GREAT COMPANY, by the way!!) and decided to get them. After reading the other reviews, I bought a size 7, even though I usually take a 6. The 7 was HUGE!! And I have fairly wide feet with issues (I should say, my feet have problems, I have issues.). So I called Zappos, talked with this really nice person and they made the exchange for a size 6 without even crediting and then billing my credit card - they trusted that I would send the others back! What a company. Getting back to the moccasins, I am wearing them right now and would keep them on my feet all the time, if I could. They are the most comfortable pair of moccasins I have ever owned (and I've owned several other brands). I've had them for a few weeks, and they do stretch out a bit, but the fit is still perfect, with or without socks. I wore them with toe socks yesterday, and they were more comfortable than my most comfortable pair of sneakers. Thank you, Zappos for a great pair of moccasins/shoes, and superb customer service.

These slippers replaced an old pair and are even more comfortable than the Lands End slippers they replaced. The order arrived within 3 days. I would definitely order from Zappos again and have recommended this site to family and friends.

Old Friend's Moccasin -
Had to go a size up on these slippers, but they are very comfortable and have great ach support. I am very satisfied with these slippers.

Pretty good, fits orthotics -
These are true to size and warm. The terry lined ones can be worn all year long. My orthotics fit well inside them. My only complaint is that after wearing them for a while the cushioning flattened out, so without my orthotics they did not have enough cushioning.

Super Slipper -
Love this slipper. Very comfortable and fairly supportive for a moccasin. Drawstrings really work. Well made shoe, stitched neatly and tightly.
The lining is warm enough for the house in winter but yet to be seen if I sweat in the summer.

My daughter happened upon your product when she was looking for a size 16 house shoe for her boyfriend. When the shoes arrived, I tried them on and fell in love with them. Although the size 16 was much too large, I knew that I had found the house shoe of my dreams. I ordered two more pairs and when they arrived my parents also wanted some. So, we ordered two more pairs. I have worn them continuously in the house and have even worn them out as shoes a few times. Everyone comments how much they like my shoes and asks where did I get them. I hope they last a long time. I love them.

I purchased two pair of these moccasins, one for my husband and one for me. They are great. I ordered our normal shoe size and they were a perfect fit for both of us. These are very warm, comfortable, and cool looking. Excellent choice!

Good house shoe -
These moccasins are just what I needed around the parts of the house without carpet. As other reviewers have noted, they do stretch considerably in the width, but it helps to be able to tie them tighter with the cords/laces that are sewn around the whole shoe. They are comfortable both with and without socks.

Terry Cloth Moccasin - comfy and cool -
This is my second pair. I purchased this style b/c it is the only style of comfy moccasin that has terry on the inside (instead of wool, fleece or some other hotter material). They keep feet warm in cold weather, but are still cool enough to wear in summertime. They are very comfortable, but feel about 1 size smaller than listed. I got a medium width, but it feels narrower than a regular moc. After 1-2 months of wear, they stretch to fit your feet quite comfortably. They are durable, in that I had my first pair for 3 years and wore them frequently. My only complaint is that the cotton rope tie across the top always comes undone (no matter how many different ways it's tied).
