I really do love this shoe, but it doesn't love me quite as much. It's beautiful. I have the brown pair. The problem is that the straps, especially the toe ring, rubs my skin raw. It even rubs through the bandaid I wrap around my toe. I'm hoping that this will get better because these shoes are the perfect wedge.

I ordered these shoes in a size 8 in gold. They arrived quickly as usual (thank you Zappos!). The footbed is padded they are fairly comfy for such a high shoe. The straps are very soft leather so there was no problem with chafing. They are a very simple elegant sandal, great with sundresses.

Beautiful, supple leather and a cushy footbed, but... Due to the two short straps by the heel being so soft, (almost stretchy) and maybe a tad long, the back strap wasn't holding my heels in. The overall effect was too floppy for my needs and the height was too much for what I was looking for. Before I ordered these shoes I couldn't decide on the color, I thought they were all beautiful. Sadly these are going back.

 |  | Dear Zappos, My daughter (Morgan) is a student at Ohio State University.
Approximately one month ago she had emergency gall bladder surgery. On Tuesday, September 15th, she had a follow up with her surgeon before she was to leave to move into her dorm on Thursday, September 17th. At the appointment, the surgeon advised that under no circumstances was she to lift over ten pounds until the end of October. We were told to that she would have to use a rolling book bag. My friend highly recommended Zappos.com. On Tuesday, September 15th, Morgan and I picked out a book bag from Zappos. Morgan was so anxious to place her online order, she did not choose the priority shipping option. I called Zappos within 15 minutes of her placing the order. Your customer service rep was very kind and far exceeded my customer service expectations by making me a VIP and offering to waive the
overnight fee. I was very impressed and very grateful. The bag arrived overnight as promised, but it was too small. I hated to return the book bag because your rep had been so kind. Yesterday, a beautiful get well bouquet arrived at our home for Morgan. It was from Zappos! There is no way I will return that bag without picking something else out from Zappos. In addition, I want EVERYONE to know what a wonderful company you are. I am so impressed and cannot thank you enough Zappos! Also, thank you for giving me the e-mail address to send my feedback.
