The velcro straps are not adjustable at all. I have a narrow foot so I buy Mephistos with velcro, but these aren't adjustable. I had to send them back.

I have semi-wide feet and usually have trouble with blisters on my heels as well as trouble with pinky toe placement. These sandals have been amazing since day one. They needed no break in time at all and they look fantastic! I live in Manhattan, so I\'m always on the look out for comfortable nice looking sandals. These definitely fit the bill. Also, the price is not outrageous for Mephisto. I highly recommend these sandals if you are looking for a good walking sandal.

Mephisto is my absolute favorite brand of shoes. These sandals are the best. Very light weight and oh so comfy for walking. I needed something flat with support and full straps while recovering from knee surgery and using crutches. These did what I needed and looked somewhat dressy as well. The silver color is fantastic.

I was looking for sandals to replace my Mephisto Altina sandals. These seem to be doing the job as a comfortable walking sandal. The Altinas were good for a few years but lately became uncomfortable.. Cara is lightweight, easy to adjust and the foot pad is soft. For now they seem to be a great summer sandal. I have totally flat feet. I wear between a 6 and 6 1/2 in US sizes. 36 does it for me with the European sizing. I did not get a wide in these shoes, yet they still worked out. Zappos provides exceptional service. I live on the east coast and get the shoes the next day. They are also a breeze to return to. They are easier to use than going to a shoe store! Very tempting to buy from.

I just love my shoes. My daughter and I went Zappos shopping, she in Ca., me here in Utah. She is on the computer telling me the kind of sandals and the colors, then I tell her what ones to order for me. We have so much fun doing this. I have bought six pairs now from Zappos I love each and everyone of them. I can have them on all day long and my feet don't hurt what so ever. I just love them. Thanks Zappos.

I love these shoes. I have wide feet and have a hard time finding shoes that fit properly. The adjustable straps make these perfect for any width as you can adjust. The shoe is very comfortable and I did not have to break them in. I bought myself a second pair in a different color, as well as a pair for my mom for mother's day she loves them as well.

These sandals are very comfortable. After a little while you don't even feel the straps anymore. You can actually run with these sandals, they are that good. The package came really fast and in excellent condition.

A comfortable shoe with style -
I am on my feet all day and this shoe has proven to be comfortable and can be worn with any color casual outfit. Decent support.

Cute and supportive -
I bought this cute sandal for walking around Europe. I got the honey-gold because it's a good neutral, and I was not disappointed. However they do run wide and I cannot adjust the velcro strap narrower because of the design. I may have to send them back but they are so comfortable and supportive I am thinking I might just wear them loose. Decisions, decisions...

Fabulous heel cushioning, the honey-metallic is a great neutral color, but there it ended. The size 37 is NOT a US size 7 in this case. And being the sensitive type, the ankle strap irritated me. Sorry, but they had to go back.

I didn't really worry about it though because Zappos always sends things incredibly fast - I've received packages the day after I placed an order! Zappos is great. The free shipping and fast return make shopping for shoes online foolproof. I know I order more because I know that if I don't like the shoes or they don't fit, I can return them easily and the payment is always credited to my account promptly. Thanks for the great service.
