This shoe is not supportive enough in the arches for me. I have high arches and I do a lot of kick boxing. I always buy Asics because I need good arch support for all the jumping around I do. They usually are very supportive for me but this one is not. I have to put inserts in them to help support my arches.

Disappointed -
I read the reviews and was sure I was picking a winner. Though I thought the look was a bit busy, performance is the priority so I went with it. I wear a 6 med in Clarks, a 6.5 med in Reebok and even though I read that these run large I ordered the 6.5 med. Perhaps this particular shoe is just different. They were too tight and too short. If you really like this shoe try a size larger and a wide width if you wear med normally. I was very disappointed in the shoe. I can't even begin to give a description in arch support, etc. They were too tight the minute I got them on. Though I swear by Zappos. Best customer service on the planet!!

Comfy and attractive -
As a longtime Asics wearer who has looked long and hard for a comfortable and fairly nice-looking sneaker that doesn't make my feet look enormous, I am SO pleased with this shoe. The Gel-Express 2 marries form and function, providing a light, nicely cushioned step with great heel/arch support. If you're having trouble getting motivated, this shoe will make you want to get out there and work out!

Excellent choice -
I had foot surgery 5 years ago and was introduced to Asics back then. I buy nothing but Asics and I always look and fine great deals at Zappos. These Gel Express are an excellent buy and are so comfortable. I bought these at a 1/2 size bigger and I am glad that I did. I am going to order a few more pair...

Comfort and quality -
I have trouble buying supportive athletic shoes because of my high arches and wide feet. I usually spend more for shoes hoping to get comfort and support. This shoe was comfortable the moment I put it on. I put my own inserts in them right away so I am not sure how supportive they are without them. I have had them a little over a month and sometimes I don't want to take them off after I work out.

I use this shoe for walking (fast-walking) since I gave up running. It's very comfortable, true to size.

This shoe is very comfortable. I needed a wide size, due to bunions, so this fit the bill.

Good sneaker -
Good middle of the road shoe -- I have bunions and ordered this in a wide and it feels pretty good. Some of the Asics have a seam that runs across the top of the shoe and rubs on my big toe but this one doesn't. Very comfortable.

I have never had a pair of Asics before. I usually wear New Balance. I was so happy with these shoes. They fit my foot perfect. Though I had also ordered a much more expensive pair of New Balance as well, I chose these, they are wonderful.

Wide (D) was too tight...
The wide size was too tight for my feet. Don't get these if you have bunions!

I ordered these a 1/2 size larger. They’re lightweight, plenty of toe room, and the support is good. Overall very comfortable and they look nice on the foot too.

Pleasantly pleased!
I have tried Nike, Easy Spirit, New Balance, Reebok, Adidas...this is by far the most comfortable.

 |  | Hi Fabulous Zappos Team: Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Barb and I just finished reading an absolutely delightful article about your company and corporate culture. I was so genuinely impressed that I wanted to send you all a note of thanks. Thanks for being the genuine article! My entire adult work life I have tried to promote a happy, customer focused work environment. While I have always been extremely productive from being authentic and caring, certain supervisors looked at my ways as being suspect and a little weird. Yes, it's true they felt a respectful, caring attitude was a waste of time and actually did not care if their current customers were satisfied. How they didn't equate that current happy customers equals monetary success now and later through referrals is still beyond me. They also never "got it" that their incredibly high employee turnover cost them dearly. Trained, happy people produce positive results. I worked with a company as a manager for the past 8 years that went through 29 managers in the 2 locations closest to me in my 1st two years of employment. Finally I decided to leave after not being able to effect positive change in my boss. Amazingly at Zappos the positive goes CEO down and back up - way to go! Being the eccentric optimist I am, I left my job and figured I'd have a great job in no time. Unfortunately, I am still looking for a positive, proactive position and was getting a little blue until I read the article tonight about Zappos. The great news is that my faith has been restored. There actually is a company that values what is really important and not just in a PR lip-service kind of way. I wish you all enormous success, big bucks, and happiness. I hope that your corporate culture spreads out like wild-fire to other businesses so that people like me who live it and believe it can experience it in our careers. If my husband wasn't off serving in Iraq, I'd probably be there beating down the door for a job, but it is in extremely bad form to sell the house and move away while the husband is out of the country for a year.
I most sincerely appreciate: Your Zappos core values that you really follow. Your supporting your employees to learn more, be happier
and spread happiness. And that you promote customer service, not the usual customer DIS-service people I often get on the phone. P.S. Here are 3 of my Barb-ism's 1.
