Good idea -
Yeah, the Pack-It system isn't meant for a laptop--it's meant for clothes. And for clothes it does a good job. My main style of travel is backpacking, which involves a lot of packing and repacking, and I like that I can put stuff on the waterproof side when it's dirty or wet, since I don't usually have time for things to dry first. However, shoving too much stuff in these things over a long period of time will wear them out faster than I think they should. The plastic side of mine started coming undone, but maybe that's been solved by the new design--I'll find out soon. Anyway, it was pretty much my fault for over packing it, and they still lasted for over a year of almost continual traveling.

Be careful -
When I purchased this bag I wanted to use if for my laptop. However I must warn you that it does not offer enough cushion for protection. The waterproof compartments are a great idea (why I purchased it) but the bag was too small for my laptop. So watch the dimensions before you purchase this.

 |  | I would like to commend Zappos for the fine service that I receive. My wife has an extremely difficult foot to fit and because of Zappos she is able to order shoes online. We have been extremely satisfied with the service and one day service that is provided. She wears a 9.5 in a 4A.
