I bought these shoes after reading other reviews saying how comfortable they are. And I have to agree, they are really comfy for heels. I wore them all day for a wedding and was really happy with them.

The fit is true to size, both length and width. Very comfortable shoe with just the right size heel to wear comfortably. Will look nice with sundresses or something more dressy.

These shoes lived up to the other reviews. Good fit and good for a party. Only negative: very little arch support if any. Can't find good shoes for that anymore! I would recommend these shoes.

I bought these shoes for my daughter who has a wedding to attend and will comfortably wear them, now that we\'ve found the right size. She\'s always a 4, 4.5 but in this shoe she was far better off in the size 5! Of course, she has another two Vaneli\'s, both in size 4. Go figure. But this Modesta is low enough that she won\'t have any difficulty wearing it for the night. She\'s had two ACL surgeries and needed a lower heel. A shoe at this price point is exactly what we rarely buy because we\'re usually in Stuart Weitzman\'s or DJ Pliner\'s. For such a reasonably-priced shoe it\'s well made. I\'d say it was true to width but not true to size. Order at least a 1/2 size up, if not a full size. The silver is a true silver and aside from just an evening shoe, I\'d wear this shoe with jeans. Great buy!

I ordered these late Saturday evening and they arrived Monday morning. I ordered a 7WW and it fit beautifully. Without time to break in the shoes, I wore them to a wedding where I danced or mingled for 6 hours. Not one blister or pinched toe! Modesta is one of the best purchases I've made for shoes. One note: Heel height is listed at 2 1/2 inches but the actual height is 2 inches. I recommend this shoe to anyone with wide, hard to fit feet.

I rarely wear shoes like this. I'm a classic, flat sandal person. As a mom of the groom, I bought these for a wedding. There is basically no support/cushioning, which usually means pain for my feet. However, I wore them all evening and didn't even notice I had feet until the end of the evening. They fit well and to size; I loved the heel, not too high. No rubbing, no problems.

I recently purchased a pair of patent Vaneli Modesta shoes for an anniversary party I was to attend. I needed a shoe that was a wide width, but most importantly, I wanted a shoe with a leather sole, for dancing. If you've ever tried to dance in shoes with a rubber sole, you know that it is nearly impossible to do so. I also wanted a strappy shoe with a heel at least two inches. It was impossible to find anything like that in my town or the next. Most wide shoes look like work shoes. Zappos was recommended to me by my neighbor, and what a pleasant surprise! These shoes were comfortable from the minute I put them on, until I took them off five hours later. Customer service is A-1, and you cannot find that anywhere today! Delivery was the next day because I ordered before 1 pm. I love Zappos and have now purchased my third pair of heels from this great company. Thank you Zappos!

I could have danced all night, and tried. Wore to two wedding receptions and was the only one still wearing my shoes at end of the evening. Would highly recommend not only for comfort, but for the wider width and style, too.

These are beautiful, comfortable shoes; they fit true to size and width. They are great for dancing, too; the heel height is perfect if you need to be on your feet or if you are dancing the night away! Zappos has the best service, too!

I bought these shoes in the silver to wear to a morning/noon wedding and afternoon reception. I wore them for 6 hours and danced and they were comfortable and beautiful shoes. I highly recommend them if you are going to be on your feet or dancing.

I ordered this shoe for a wedding I planned to attend; the silver or the gold would have gone well with my dress. At first I ordered the gold, but Zappos did not have it in stock, so I decided the silver could also work. The silver shoes came the next day (yea Zappos!) and they fit perfectly and were very comfortable. My husband and I were planning on joining in with the dancing at the wedding, so we were practicing our dance steps for several weeks before the wedding day. I wore these shoes whenever we practiced and my feet never were sore or tired. So in my opinion these are great dancing shoes besides being very pretty and flattering to legs and feet. I liked them so much, I ordered them in black patent. While I was ordering them in black patent, I saw that they were now available in my size in the gold, so I ordered both black and gold. That tells you how much I like these shoes. When I received the shoes, the gold ones fit perfectly (like the silver), but the straps on the black patent were not made correctly. The black straps were too short and misplaced around the toes compared to the silver and gold, so I had to return them. I would like to try to reorder another black pair sometime in the future. I highly recommend these shoes for going out and for dancing, they look great with day dress, evening dress, or even dressy jeans. A friend told me Vaneli is a good brand for people who have a narrow heel. I think that is true; I frequently have problems with the heel of a shoe being to wide, but not with Vaneli, they fit my feet very well.

I bought these shoes for my son\'s wedding. They were comfortable and were available in a narrow size which I needed. The heel is the perfect height and they were easy to walk and dance in. I hope to have an occasion to wear them again.

I was surprised to see that this shoe really looks good on my daughter's foot. Some strappy metallic shoes can look cheap but the Modesta looks wonderful. It fits small so I'd order at least a half size up. The width is perfect so the B-width should fit a medium as it's supposed to. The bonus is the price because we usually wear Stuart Weitzman's or such. This shoe was bought for a wedding and my daughter finds it so comfortable that I think she'll be dancing as much as she wants!

This is a very pretty shoe. I particularly like the leather sole, hard to find, and the lower heel. I usually wear a AA shoe, but I find that this shoe runs narrow. It also needs some padding for the ball of the foot. The style is not flattering for my feet that do not have a nice arch, so I may try to find another style by the same maker.

My daughter wore these shoes for her friend\'s quinceanera. There was a lot of dancing & the shoes stayed on & her feet did not hurt. No problems with these shoes. They are cute!

Great shoe overall. My daughter is getting married next August so I bought these for her garden wedding. It's hard to find a wedge heel that's dressy, so I am thinking about keeping these since they are so unbelievably comfortable. I bought 4 pair to try and these by far fit the best and I feel like I could wear these all day. They do leave out my baby toe, but so do most shoes I wear (it's considerably shorter). The heel is just the right size for me; shoe is stable and back strap holds on to your heel. Fit true to size and probably the most generous in width for a B width. Great shoe. Love the silver color.

Because these shoes are for my wedding, comfort was the most important thing I was looking for. These shoes are not only extremely comfortable (the heel is really low), but look great as well. I would definitely recommend these shoes to other brides!

I normally don't wear heels over 2 inches, but I thought I'd give this pair a try for a wedding I attended. They looked great, but after walking around for half an hour I had to switch to a different pair of shoes due to the pain in the ball of my feet. The shoes were true to size in both width and length. There is no padding in the foot bed and no arch support.

Ordinarily, Ii will go to great lengths to avoid wearing any shoe with a heel. However, a wedding a reception demanded dressy shoes. I am fortunate that I chose this shoe as it was completely comfortable, easy to walk on and dance in for hours on end.I would recommend this shoe without hesitation. BTW, I generally take between an 8 and 8.5 and the fronts of my feet are wide. The 8.5 was on the large size, but was perfectly comfortable and did not slip and slide.

These shoes were very comfortable the first time I wore them dancing. The straps are forgiving and the heel height is perfect. I liked them so much, I purchased another pair in silver.

Cute shoe! I thought I'd give this shoe a try based on the other reviews, even though the photos make it look a little frumpish. But once it's on your feet it's very pretty. I read on another online shoe store that the shoe runs a half size small, so I'm glad I ordered a 9N instead of 8-1/2N because my toes would definitely have spread over the end of the shoe. I'm still breaking the shoes in so the straps are tight on the baby toes, but the leather is soft and should give a bit. I won't be dancing like a lot of you gals. I'll just be happy if I can walk the round trip from my cruise cabin to the dining room!

These dressy sandals hold my very narrow feet in place without sliding forward or sideways. The straps are pliable enough so they don\'t hurt my toes at the pressure points. I am pleased with stitching which seems quite secure. They are a deluxe looking pair of shoes which I am pleased to own.

These shoes are pretty cute; not too high which is nice. They were very comfortable when I first put them on, but when I wore them to the event I bought them for I found that they did start to hurt me on my pinky toe, but only on the right side. So, it may have more to do with the fact that I didn't break them in at all.

These shoes are soft leather so they are very comfortable. My bunion and I are happy wearing them! They are true to size and a great dress shoe. I ordered the wrong size and when I called, a new pair was shipped out without charge and I was told to just ship the old ones back, free of charge. You can’t go wrong with this company! They value their customers and treat them with respect. They also stand behind their products. There is nothing to lose with Zappos! I’m a customer for life!

Ordered in Black Pesca Fab (7W) and Platino Metallic Nappa (7WW) because the latter wasn't available in W fitting at time of order (and I needed them fairly quickly for a convention I was attending). While the 7WW was a tad wide, I was able to pull ankle strap to last setting and it worked fine. Straight out the box they both fitted so comfortably on my wide foot. No straps digging in any place and even my pinkie toes (short) managed to remain unscathed. Love them both - the black is practical - goes with most anything and the platinum added some evening zing to white pants or summer dresses. Great buy. I possess a few other Vaneli sandals and they've not let me down yet. Nor has Zappos, which continues to deliver on its wonderful customer service. Speed and efficiency. Love it.

Approximately one month ago she had emergency gall bladder surgery. On Tuesday, September 15th, she had a follow up with her surgeon before she was to leave to move into her dorm on Thursday, September 17th. At the appointment, the surgeon advised that under no circumstances was she to lift over ten pounds until the end of October. We were told to that she would have to use a rolling book bag. My friend highly recommended Zappos.com. On Tuesday, September 15th, Morgan and I picked out a book bag from Zappos. Morgan was so anxious to place her online order, she did not choose the priority shipping option. I called Zappos within 15 minutes of her placing the order. Your customer service rep was very kind and far exceeded my customer service expectations by making me a VIP and offering to waive the
overnight fee. I was very impressed and very grateful. The bag arrived overnight as promised, but it was too small. I hated to return the book bag because your rep had been so kind. Yesterday, a beautiful get well bouquet arrived at our home for Morgan. It was from Zappos! There is no way I will return that bag without picking something else out from Zappos. In addition, I want EVERYONE to know what a wonderful company you are. I am so impressed and cannot thank you enough Zappos! Also, thank you for giving me the e-mail address to send my feedback.
