I saw these this summer & tried on a 7 in a regular width which fit perfectly, but was just a little too narrow in the arch. Then, I saw these on Zappos with the option of wide width. So I ordered a 7 in a wide. For some reason, they are just as narrow as the regular width. The only part of the shoe that is wider is at the toes?! It makes no sense to me.

My foot is somewhat narrow except for a short big toe and the enlarged joint which developed there. The sandal leaves space for the bunion. My toes are shortish and the 7-1/2 is barely long enough. One of the reviews said they run long so I bought 1/2 size smaller than normal. Apparently my foot is in-between 7-1/2 and 8. The shoe is beautiful. Sandals that have more adjustments are generally going to provide a better fit, I\'d give them a 5.

These are fantastic shoes all around! The footbed is incredibly comfortable and soft. The leather in the footbed and straps is smooth and doesn\'t rub. The only thing I don\'t like is that to get a good fit I have to tighten the strap to the point that I can\'t slip in and out of the shoe. All around a great product though!

These sandals are great. The leather is soft and non-binding, the footbed breathes, and the support is great. They seemed a bit narrow, but they fit my feet well. I have never bought the same shoe in different colors, but I first got the dark brown because they didn\'t have the black in my size, but I kept checking and bought a second pair when they came in. Overall, very comfortable, simple style, timeless.

Love the Timberland recessed soles. I have had several pair of (old style) t-straps in black and tan that have lasted for years. They had velcro straps which were a breeze. This new style does have the recessed sole that I like and the tan color BUT the buckle strap is a pain. It's located in the back and very difficult to reach. The buckle and holes are very small and cumbersome. Okay, they are comfortable once you get them on. Bring back the velcro t-strap!!!!

After a long search for versatile summer sandals, I came up upon these and am very pleased with them. They're sturdy and just high enough off of the ground for me not to worry about the dirty streets. They fit true to size. My feet are wide at the top and narrow at the heel, and the wide width worked fine. They're only slightly loose around the buckle. And, they look cute with a casual summer dress!

Thank you to Timberland for making a wide sandal that is elegant and comfortable. However, if you try to order the similar looking sandal with the cork bottom, you'll find that it is not as wide as this model.

I love these sandals. They are comfortable and stylish. This is my third pair of Timberland sandals, and I have been very satisfied with them all. All of the Timberland shoes I have purchased have been extremely comfortable. Zappos is a great place to purchase shoes.

It is a light weight, comfortable shoe. I have a high arch, and wear a width D. The first horizontal strap near the toes is a bit tight, but the longer I wear them, the more comfortable they get. Also, I almost always wear a size 8.5, and this shoe is a bit too long. If you plan on buying this shoe, you might try a half size smaller to get the right length.

Cool style plus comfort -
My shoes arrived in 2 days- fantastic! I got them in the tan color, as flesh-color shoes are very in and they have the added bonus of going with everything. These shoes are cool without looking like you're trying too hard. The fit was perfect- I was pleasantly surprised that they are available in wide. My foot is wide at the toes, but my heel is narrow and these shoes are truly comfortable. The soles are cushioned and very flexible so I can walk in them all day. The price is very reasonable compared to "comfort shoe" brands. Now I don't need to sacrifice comfort for style.

Difficult to buckle -
The sandal is comfortable and looks nice once you have it on but getting it on is not easy. The ankle strap is very short and the buckle is tiny. The fit around the ankle is very snug. Once they are on there's no kicking them off under your desk at work. So beware if you have sweaty feet, these puppies are on for the day!

I love everything about this shoe, except I'm not used to having a strap around my ankle. I must have wide ankles, because the strap is still rather tight when I have it as long as it goes, so I rate comfort at 4 stars.

Great Fit, Great Quality -
I'm a huge fan of Timberland shoes and these sandals are no exception. Great quality and great fit along with a very attractive design. I have a moderately wide foot and ordered accordingly. This sandal fits like a glove, no break-in required and I'm ready to go!

Cute and Comfortable -
I've been looking for sandals for a trip to Europe - wanted them to be very comfortable but also cute - and these are both. They feel great right out of the box, no break in needed. I usually wear an 8.5 to 9, and the 8.5 fits me great. I ended up liking these so much that I also got the Belicia Link style that is similar but with a heel.

Have to return this shoe. My foot is a 6WW and was hoping this shoe would be wide enough, it isn't. It would probably stretch because of the leather straps but the other problem with the shoe for me is the strap in the back is not long enough. Also it is not that attractive on my wide feet. It’s probably just my feet, because it is a cute sandal. Too bad Timberland does not offer WW widths for women. That seems to be the norm for most companies. If they offer wides at all its single wides. Thank goodness for zappos easy return policy.

Zappos sent me my order overnight! Yay Zappos! I was very pleased with the sandals. They are much less clunky-looking in person. They fit my foot nicely, and the Roman inspired design looks great on my feet with great arch support. I can't wait for our Denver weather to stay warm so I can wear them! They will go great with skirts, dresses, and jeans.

I love these sandals... they were perfect right out of the box. Lightweight, with a sole that just cradles my foot. Cute with jeans or with nicer pants or capris, and will be cute with a skirt or shorts. Highly recommend them! This is my first pair of Timberland sandals, and I’d definitely try more in this brand because I like these so much.

Very attractive, and thanks to Timberland for making it in wide. I did get blisters first time I wore them for an extended time, but I think that was due to tender winter feet. I expect them to be comfortable.
