The shoes are comfortable and attractive, but they have a very strong industrial smell that hasn\'t gone away over the first few months I\'ve owned these. It\'s still bad enough that other people in the room notice it.

While I like these shoes, they do still smell like gasoline. I have had other pairs of Bass shoes, and I like the way they fit. They look good and are comfortable, even to walk in. Like other reviewers, the soles of these shoes do smell like petrol, and the smell hasn't gone away yet, almost one month later.

The shoes have a distinct gasoline smell. It is quite unpleasant for at least 2 weeks. The fit and the look of the shoe is great but the smell is awful.

Very comfortable shoes, decent arch support. This is my second pair of Bass shoes in 5 years. Very happy with both.

Nice looking. Okay fit. Smells like gasoline - Very nice looking shoe, that seems to be constructed well. Nice sole, good leather. But I got an 11.5 and it fits like an 11. The worst part is the shoes smell like gasoline. Would not recommend.

These shoes are made well. They were a bit snug at first. Good quality. Nice shiny sheen to the leather.

My last pair of Bass shoes were pretty comfortable and lasted a while and so far these seem to fit that as well. My only complaints are the sole is painted to look like leather and rubber but it's really all rubber and that they had a strong odor to them that, after a month, has finally faded. It's kind of a shoe polish smell that isn't terrible but I don't know why it was so strong.
