These shoes run small. I wear an 11 and they're usually loose. This fits tight, too tightly.

I can see why a lot of reviews state that these are very comfortable shoes but unfortunately each person's feet are different and mine did not get along well with these shoes. More specifically, my right foot. I really wanted to love these shoes. I loved how it looked, very simple and classic. I loved how it had the perfect heel height and it had great cushioning. I actually liked how "squishy" the heel is. It's almost like you are wearing sneakers. It really felt comfortable the first couple of hours I had it on when I was doing some moderate walking. A couple of hours later after doing a lot more walking, I got a blister on the heel of my right foot and I can feel the leather pinching the bone on the side of my big toe and pinky toe but only on my right foot. The only problem I had with my left foot was that the fit was a tiny bit loose. Before midday I had three band-aids on my right foot. I stuck a folded up paper towel in my left shoe (hoping for a better fit) and my ankles and calf muscles were aching badly. I find that the heels really are too squishy for doing a lot of walking and my ankles roll a lot in these flats. My legs and feet were feeling sore up to two days later. I am kind of afraid that these shoes would give me bunions. I've never had a rougher shoe break-in period than this one. I do not think I can send these back anymore as I've worn them out for a whole day and it has a few scuff marks on the sole now :(

Heel is too "squishy". To add to a review I'd written below, one thing I've noticed is that the heel is made of a "squishy" material, it's not a "solid" heel. So what happens is that when you walk, your foot never feels secure. This is very bad for your ankle as the foot moves from side to side a bit. When you step down on the ground, you never feel that you are on solid ground, because of the squishy heel.

These are really wonderful dress flats. Buttery leather and very well made, these shoes were comfortable on my wide, high-arched feet right out of the box. It's really nice to find a comfortable wide flat for once. The rubber soles and slightly padded footbed are a plus for women who really wear their shoes. They are also tastefully simple and pretty. Love them!

Super cute ballet flats -
Very nice leather, stitching, and the round toe shape is perfect! Plus, the built-in arch support is very nice! I've yet to wear these walking on the street (so far have only worn them in my carpeted office), so I can't speak to how they will feel walking the streets of NYC! But so far (in my office) so good. The style of these shoes is reminiscent of say Audrey Hepburn in a full skirt or a 1950's office lady wearing a cigarette style skirt paired with a cardigan sweater set. These shoes would be perfect with such outfits. Very classic, simple, and lady-like!

Super comfortable but very plain -
If these shoes had had a little more visual appeal, I would have definitely kept them. They were quite possibly the most comfortable dress shoes I have ever had on, but they were SO ordinary.

Pretty - Vigotti -
I was disappointing when I tried on this shoe. The size is true and the width is good but the top of the shoe goes right over my bunion surgery scar so I can't wear them. The shoe was a bit stiff but seemed soft and easy to wear. If you don't mind the top of the shoe over your toes then these will be fine for you.

Great look for dresses and paints -
I always keep a pair of patent leather ballet flats in my wardrobe, and these are by far the most comfortable I've owned. Unlike others I've worn, these do have cushion and arch support. I like the rubber soles also, very practical and classic.

A wonderful and simple shoe. FINALLY! No bows. No buckles. Beautiful classic toe shape, subtle stitching, and just enough heel.

Matches description -
I found these shoes to be great slip ons that can make it through a 12 hour day at work. Arch support is moderate, cushioning is great, heel a little narrow for "five star" comfort.

VERY comfortable but not frumpy at all. They look great with skinny jeans, capris leggings and skirts, but would pair well with a suit, too. Unlike many dress flats, they actually stay on when you walk. I love these shoes! (And I love Zappos!)

These were the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever bought. I would not recommend these shoes at all.

Nice simple shoe -
These shoes have a nice, classic style. I wear a 5W and they fit very well except a little tight over the top of the foot. I imagine that will work itself out after a few more wearings. They also have a bit of arch support which helps my poor, tired, flat feet.
