These are so cute and comfortable but the velcro keeps coming undone. I don't have a fat foot so this is very annoying. I may send them back and only buy buckles from now on.

I bought these sandals to go on a long European vacation where I was to do a lot of walking. They have great arch support and are comfortable; however, I have to agree with many others reviews in that the velcro fasteners don't work at all. They keep popping open every time you hit a bump. Took them to the shoe repair guy and he said the velcro looks fine and he can't recommend anything stronger, but it's gotten to the point where I can't walk without the velcro coming open. So disappointed (because normally I love Dansko shoes). I'm hoping I can still return them after several months of trying to make them work.

Very comfortable shoe right out of the box! Even though the back strap is not adjustable, it\'s a very good fit.

Shoe is very comfortable. I do have to say, I'm disappointed with the velcro. It needs to be adjusted often. If you hit something with your foot, the Velcro opens up. Still a comfortable shoe.

These are the most disappointing Dansko sandals that I own and I own several. Love the style, but they don't work for me. I usually wear a 40, the back strap in a 40 was at least one inch away from touching my heel. So, I ordered a 39; the strap was fine, but I walk right out of the velcro fasteners over the instep. As much as I love the way they look I can't recommend them. Wonder if I just got a "lemon" in the 40?

This shoe was cute and reasonably comfortable, but I had to return it because the heel strap was not adjustable and kept slipping around my narrow heels. I\'ve had good luck in general with other Dansko sandals as they provide good cushioning.

Great fitting shoe. Wasn't sure I would like the velcro straps, but they were wonderful in the heat when I walked everywhere in Chicago for a week!

Shoes fit great- I have narrow feet and sandals often are too floppy. Fit perfectly and I can wear them all day teaching without discomfort!

I am a size 6.5. I have a difficult time with EU sizes- I ordered a 36- it arrived the next day- It felt a little short, so I called and ordered a 37. It too, arrived the next day. The 36 was the best fit as the back strap cannot be adjusted. Zappos customer service couldn't be better. The sandal fits well; I do regret that Dansko has chosen to use velcro closures rather than a traditional buckle for the price. It looks a bit old lady-ish! And I am a young 60-ish!

Great shoe -
I ordered these to wear to my daughter's wedding this summer. It is a very comfortable shoe and one that I will not have to take off too early. It has a great low heel that will work well outside. I ordered the mushroom color which is really more of a beige or dark ivory. Anything Dansko is always great. I usually have to wear orthotics but can wear Danskos and not have a problem. Try them if you don't like high heels but want a nice shoe.

These shoes typify the comfort of Dansko. I always go down one size in Dansko for a sandal and with my moderately narrow foot worked out in spades! Fantabulous service and shoe.

Weird shoe -
I really wanted these shoes to work for me, but no such luck. The heel strap is not adjustable and it was a good inch too long. It stuck out way past my Achilles and looked goofy! What was Dansko thinking? Did they create this shoe based on a real foot? I don't think so. It's a shame because they are pretty cute. If you are a regular Dansko buyer you will notice that these are not up to the usual Dansko standards in comfort, but they still rate better than the average sandal. The footbed does not provide as much arch or metatarsal support as normal Danskos. Even if the heel strap wasn't way, way too long, I don't know if these would be worth the price. I love Danskos, just not these. They run the same size as other Danskos. I wear an 8.5 in U.S. dress shoes and I consistently wear a 40 in Danskos.
