I love these sandals. Dansko is one of my faves, but not very feminine, but the Celina changes that. Hope Dansko comes out with more that look and feel good. The sandals are true to size (37 - US size 7). Very comfortable.

I really like these sandals. The sole is manmade, but thick enough to cushion the foot from pebbles, etc. I like that all the straps are the same width. The interior of the soles has a moleskin insert so that if you wear the sandals without hose, your feet don't make that sticking noise. The fact that the soles are dark, the same color as the straps, makes them appear dressier. I bought them in both brown and black patent. If they had been available in black nappa, I would have preferred the nappa to the patent.

I love the shoes, they are great. At first I thought the toes were too narrow because I normally wear a wide, but they fit great and I can wear them all day like sneakers with the arch support.

These sandals are so comfortable! The size was perfect and they looked great on my feet. We went to Williamsburg a few days after I bought them and I wore them all day with no problems at all. Zappos is awesome! The customer service, as usual, had them at my door in about 26 hours, couldn't believe it. My husband and I continue to order from Zappos! Thank you Zappos! We appreciate it.

These were very comfortable from the very beginning. As other reviewers said they look dressy but aren\'t as uncomfortable as most dressy shoes are. I need a large size with plenty of space in the forefoot (42) and these fit me perfectly. Zappos has been a pleasure to do business with. Even when the shoes don\'t work out Zappos service makes me smile.

This is a classy looking shoe, but if you have a medium or wide foot, you should find another shoe (I usually wear a medium width). The first time I wore them I got a really nice set of blisters my baby toes that took about two weeks to heal. I can wear them for shorter lengths of time as the rest of the shoe is really comfortable, the sole padding, etc. I'm still not sure if the cross strap across my toes is going to stretch with time; doesn't seem to happen with patent leather like it might with normal leather. This is my first pair of Danskos. My daughters have been buying them for years and love theirs (more the clog version). When I pay this much for a pair of shoes, I really expect them to be super comfortable. I regret having spent the money even though I really like how the shoe looks on my foot. Think twice if you have a M-W foot width.

Pleasantly surprised. The shoe is flat, but looks dressy because of the patent leather (which can be comfortable considering it doesn't mold to your feet like real leather). the foot bed is wide, so my toes don't feel squished, but the strap holds my feet in. The ankle is adjustable so if you need a tighter fit. I took this right out of the box and wore them to work today (which I never do because I have problem feet that never let me wear shoes out of the box. I always have to make adjustments like moleskin or inserts). The arch support isn't great, but the shoe is wider in that area so it supports my flat feet. Maybe I could add those sticky arches. Also, the shoe is thick so it doesn't feel like I'm walking directly on the ground (does that make sense?). This is a great quality shoe; Dansko does it again!

I never write reviews but I thought I would take the time to say that Zappos is a great company with good prices and excellent customer service. I have bought many pairs of shoes from them. On my last order I received them the very next day! Needless to say, for a girl who loves shoes, what girl doesn't, I thought that was great. I have told all the shoe lovers I know to give them a go.

I normally wear 9.5 N in Stuart Weitzman, for these shoes I ordered the 39. With forefoot stick-on pads, these shoes fit perfectly. They are comfortable enough to wear for long periods of time and for walking. I recently wore them for a full girly day of spa, lunch and shopping with no issues. For me, these shoes are a great blend of comfort, function and looks. And, I have received very many compliments on their attractiveness; they are not at all frowsy-looking on the foot. In and out soles are well padded to absorb the shock of walking, but no vamp or heel structure to offer top or lateral support. For the type of shoe they are, they are a five star shoe.

I wanted the nappa leather rather than the crinkle leather, but it wasn\'t available in my size. I think the shoe would be more comfortable in the softer leather. The shoe is fine, but it leaves deep lines on my feet for an hour after I take them off since all the support is just on a few small staps.

Cute, but bad insole. I purchased these for work because I am on my feet all day, and needed something cute but that offered support. These were extremely comfortable and super cute. Loved them, until I had them for about a week, and realized that the EVA footbed/liner is super hot and it got really funky. I have had shoes for years, and never ever had a problem with any odor. But these are awful. A friend of mine said she had a similar problem with this type of shoe liner. It wicks and absorbs everything! Now, I cant wear them, and it is disappointing. Still a Dansko fan, but disappointed with this one.

This is a very nice sandal. It has a lot of support and is easy to wear. It runs true to size as my opinion is based on my nine and a half medium width foot.

I am very happy with these shoes! They are comfortable and cute - go with just about anything I own. Great for long days on your feet. I was grateful for another reviewer\'s suggestion to buy them 1/2 a size smaller than usual if you wear a half size. I usually wear a 7 1/2 and got them in 37. The length is close to perfect (not much extra space at the end of the shoe), but 38 would have probably been too big. Overall, am happy with these and wear them frequently.

First, I want to say that it was the reviews of this shoe that allowed me to feel OK about buying a shoe on-line. The reviews were candid, honest, and varied. That is the primary reason I am writing this review. Possibly it will help someone else make the right, comfortable decision when purchasing a shoe on-line. I am very happy with my Danski Celina shoes. I wanted a light colored sandal, not white, and the mushroom color was perfect. I also wanted a sandal with a heel, but not high heel, because I am beginning to notice that my feet hurt at the end of the day when I wear shoes with higher than 1" heel. I put it on and walked around the house to be sure they felt okay. The next day I wore them all day long at work. There has been virtually no "break in" period. They are comfortable, and my feet feel good at the end of the day.

Great stylish comfy sandal! Not clunky at all. Dress up or down. True to size. I wear a 6 or 6 1/2 and got these in 36. Also not too wide. Usually Dansko sandals are too wide for my feet. Supportive, comfy and pretty, a hard combo to find. Would also recommend Dansko Ceres sandals. Hope Dansko continues to make stylish sandals that are not too wide and I will continue to buy. Both the Celina and Ceres are classic sandals. Hope they keep making them for many years to come. Thanks Zappos. I received my order less than 24 hrs after it was placed.

These are very comfortable and I can stand in them all day on cement without any issue whatsoever. The straps don't rub, either. It might be good to order a size down from what you normally wear, because they seem to be a little bit oversized. My only complaint is the leather on the footbed scratches easily. The toe of one of the shoes got damaged the first day I wore them and I've had to touch it up with shoe polish. But I would order them again anyway.

Disappointment -
I bought a couple of pairs of sandals for a recent trip to Las Vegas. I wanted something that would be comfortable for lots of walking, but that would look nice with skirts also. The design of this shoe is appealing—kind of dainty and sporty at the same time—but the fact is, the straps are too narrow to provide support. The foot bed and ankle strap fit, but the front strap gave too much room. Maybe the problem is that I had to choose from a 38 ("7.5-8") or a 39 ("8.5 to 9") and I couldn’t just buy an 8.5, but these shoes flop around a bit when I lift my feet. The patent leather also rubs the skin, and by the end of just a few hours of walking, I had the beginnings of blisters on my little and big toes where the toe strap hit. (I had no problem with the ankle strap.) I also had to eventually try a removable fabric sole to prevent the patent foot bed from squeaking and rubbing.
Over the past few weeks, I have tried to break them in, but it hasn’t worked. They just don’t fit well—too much room under the front strap. I also tried to give them to my mom, who has the same size foot, but she tested them out and also felt that they didn’t hold to the foot very well, and therefore she didn’t trust them to give support. I wish I hadn’t spent the money on these shoes. I love the Born sandals I got from Zappos a few months ago. I’d recommend that brand to anyone.

I've worn the chunkier Dansko sandals before; this is a much lighter look and feel. Perfect for hot days. I have flat feet, so not a choice for rigorous walking, but good enough for casual use. I wear a size 7 and bought size 37, which fits fine.

These are great, comfy, and lightweight. I was a little worried that the front strap would hit my toes at the wrong place or pinch but it's perfect. They look great with jeans, the unexpectedly bare shoe with long skinny pants, but have more support than a flip flop. And Zappos was great---this was a return till I finally got the right shoe purchase and customer service was cheerful, efficient and accommodating all the way. Thanks!

These sandals are very good looking and very comfortable. They have good arch support. I have Morton's Neuroma in both feet and comfy sandals are nearly impossible for me to find. I wear a 38 and they fit very well. I am amazed that I can be on my feet all day in these. I bought two pairs - black and brown. Well worth the price to me.

I have had my eyes on these sandals for quite a few weeks and kept coming back to make sure they were still available...and surprised that they are! Since I had just recently purchased Dansko "Ava" French print wedge I restrained myself from buying "Celina" so soon after. However, when a friend suggested we spend a day next week visiting some museums I knew it was time to order "Celina". Ordered them Monday afternoon and received them today. Put them on immediately after work and started walking around. Already very comfortable, true to size and tres, tres chic. It is really a very classic style, minimal design and fussiness and best of all it is Dansko. I am a huge fan of Dansko clogs (both closed and open back) and so happy to see that the design team is presenting the wonderful and much appreciated Dansko dependability and comfort in fresh and stylish sandals. I originally intended to order mushroom color but went with the black patent and am not sorry. I hope they keep this style around for many years to come because it will never go out of style...think Jackie O with capris, sunglasses and scarf and you will understand about "Celina."
