This shoe has a great arch support, but the top strap at the end of the shoe was very tight and did not loosen up as I wore them this past summer. I started getting a lot of pain over my little toe the longer I wore them. That was disappointing because I do love Dansko.

This is a great shoe...It appealed to me because I like the comfort and support of Dansko but didn\'t want the big chunky stykle they usually have. This shoe is really quite elegant and the fit is great. The support isn\'t up to, say, their clog standard, but I wouldn\'t expect it to be. For a sandal this offers a lot of support. I am a 10.5 and have a very wide toebox and it\'s nearly impossible to find shoes that fit, especially shoes that have a little grace and style. This one has it all.

My daughter purchased me a pair of Dansko's professional clogs in black patent leather and I have just loved them. I have had foot problems for 2 years and have found that these shoes allow me to walk as if the problems didn't exist. When I saw the cute little Dansko Calypso sandal I thought I'd give them a try. The black ones arrived practically over night and I wear them all the time, even as slippers as these shoes relieve the foot discomfort that I have. I also purchased the brown in the same style so it has been Dansko all summer and little to no foot pain. (I have plantar fasciitis).

These sandals are great. I bought them based on the look of the shoe online and the reviews that had been posted and all were very accurate. This is a great sandal for both dressy and casual occasions. I wear them for 10 hours plus in a day and they are very comfortable. I would definitely buy another pair!

These shoes were perfect for me. So comfortable. Love them. I am a Dansko fan, but not all fit this well. They also look dressy and casual. I am a massage therapist and they are comfortable enough to stand in for long hours.

I love this sandal. It's super comfortable from the start, without any break-in/blister time. I really like the fact that it has Dansko comfort and support (a little less support than Dansko shoes) w/o the clunkiness. The sandal is streamlined enough to wear with sundresses and skirts, yet casual enough to work w/jeans and the like.

This was my first pair of Dansko’s and I love these shoes...From the first day, they were comfortable. The color is neutral, so you can wear them with anything. The ends of all toes are exposed, so they're good to wear after getting a pedicure. Good arch support.

I am a HUGE Dansko fan but always bummed that I don't always have comfortable shoes when I want to look a little "nicer". Most of the other Dansko sandals I have are a little too chunky to wear with a lot of my summer outfits that aren't shorts, capris, or denim skirts. These fit the bill perfectly! I've worn them with some summer skirts and dresses to work and church. The style is simple and the color is a great neutral. They are a great addition to my summer wardrobe and to my ever-growing Dansko collection!

Bought these sandals last month and just starting wearing them last week. I really like the style and color (I got the brown), but like some of the other reviewers, I found it doesn’t have the arch support that my Dansko Professionals have. I have 4 pairs of those and wear them exclusively during the winter months. After 2 straight days of wearing the sandals, I noticed my feet hurting at the end of the night. I still like them and will continue to wear them, but will alternate with other shoes.

I love these sandals! I have foot problems and need shoes that provide support, especially a rigid foot bed. These are comfortable and cute! A size 10 fit like a size 10. Overall very happy with this shoe.

I got the Calypso sandals from Dansko a couple of weeks ago and have worn them almost every day. They are super comfortable and offer good support. They also look good with dressy or casual pants. I would highly recommend them and will get another pair of Dansko sandals soon!

Just received my pair of black Dansko Calypso sandals. They are cute and so comfortable! I normally wear a 7.5M shoe and sandal, but I sometimes find Dansko shoes to be a bit large on me, so I purchased a 37 which equals a 6.5-7M and it fit perfectly. They fit very securely on my feet and I feel they have the usual comfortable form fitting Dansko support, but in a much lower profile than the clogs or some of their other shoes. The shoes look dressy with nice slacks and also great with jeans.

These sandals are adorable. However, I ordered my regular size (10 US or 40) and couldn't even get my foot into them! I had also ordered Dansko Lolita in the same size and they fit beautifully. I checked both sandals and box and they are all marked with the correct size so I don't understand the size discrepancy. I'm going to try them in the next size up and hope for the best.

My newest little black strappy sandal totally fits the bill for the summer. I can't even begin to say how much wear I'm going to get out of these this summer. I plan on wearing them with long flowing skirts to capri even black dress slack. I love that they are a little bit of a sexy looking sandal too. Did I mention how comfortable the footbed is I know they are a bit pricey, but you will not be sorry. ZAPPOS customer service was awesome on the delivery as usual.

Not up to Dansko standards -
The new line of Dansko sandals do not provide the same arch support as other Dansko shoes that I have worn. If you are a regular Dansko buyer you will notice that these are not up to the usual Dansko standards in comfort, but they still rate better than the average sandal. The footbed does not provide as much arch or metatarsal support as normal Danskos. I was really torn about whether I should keep these or not, but after walking around in them in the house I just don't think the three straps are very comfortable. I don't think I could do a lot of walking without feeling bruised from the straps. Ultimately, they weren't worth the price. I love Danskos, just not these. I wore the same size in these as I do in all Danskos. I'm usually about an 8.5, and I always wear size 40 in Danskos.

Dansko’s are a girl's best friend!!!!
Since the economy isn't so great these days, I told myself that I REALLY only needed 2 pairs of shoes for the summer since I already have a lot of shoes. I ordered these yesterday; they came today on my front door step. I plan on wearing them a lot. I love the 3 band that goes across the top of the foot it appears a little bit dressier in a way. I got a 42 and that is normal size in a Dansko and they fit like a charm. They also have enough cushion on the bottom to strand for long periods of time. You wouldn't be sorry. I picked them up in the black.

A Real Keeper -
Just bought these shoes in the adorable red for spring/summer - even though the temps are still @ freezing, I am wearing them around the house. Great arch support, easy fit, no break in necessary. I ordered a 1/2 size down as I always do for sandals. These are going to get some serious wear this summer.
