These shoes fit perfectly and the heel is not slipping, which I've had happen in the past. They are very cushioned and comfortable. I think they look great with dark-washed jeans or slacks for work. I couldn't believe that I received them in approx. 24 hours and the shipping was free!

Pretty, but too narrow. I wear a 9W, and after reading other reviews ordered an XW, it was still too tight! Too bad, nice looking shoe, I recommend this shoe for people with narrower feet.

Not really impressed. The shoes felt nice when I first tried them on. Walking in them was a different matter. They squeezed the sides of my toe eventhough they were a wide. Also, the tops scraped the sides of my foot and behind my ankles as if the edgs need sanding. My foot was so after a couple of hours in them.

I ordered this shoe because I had bought a pair of Clarks six months previous and loved the style and comfort of my Clarks, so I ordered my Fia's and they fit everywhere except for the toes. They squash my toes in so badly that I can't even walk in the shoes (they are so painful that I dare not keep them to even try and stretch them out). Sadly, I am going to have to return them. I hate it because I really love the look of this shoe.

These shoes are among the most comfortable I have had on my feet in some time. They were slightly long for the size but seemed right in the width. An attractive shoe with very good arch support and cushioning, I can wear them with slacks or skirts, very versatile design.

These fit great and I love this style. I'm a 7 1/2 medium and these fit like a glove, nice leather and excellent arch-support (which I have problems with in most other brands). However, I'm sending them back and ordering Clarks 'Sugar Sky' because it has a stacked wood heel, rather than a leather wrapped heel which this Fia style has. It's simply a personal preference since I tend to mar up the heels of my shoes, so the leather-wrapped heel is a bad choice for me.

Clarks are the best career shoe for me. They fit a wide foot, you can wear them the first day, all day. The extra wide size allows you to buy a size smaller for best fit.

Took a 2nd Pair to Find Fit. I ordered my size. They felt snug but thought they would loosen up. Sadly not enough. I loved the look so much and the shoe is well made, so I bought a second pair a whole size larger. They fit though a bit loose in the heel. The shoes receive compliments.

Wide foot, high arch, comfort driven with a sense of style -
Excellent arch support!! I have a crazy high arch and these are by far the best arch support I have even felt with a heel. Very snug for the 8WW, felt a half size smaller and narrow. Order a few sizes, one above and one below to be safe. Soft footbed, buttery soft leather, no hot spots.

These shoes were too big for me, and were uncomfortable to wear. I expect Clarks to be large, and so I ordered a smaller size than I usually wear, but still the shoes were sliding off.

Bad Fit -
I am a pretty true 12N, and these shoes weren't even close. They were huge. They were extremely wide and I couldn't even walk in them as my heel kept slipping out so badly. Very disappointed -- I really wanted a nice-looking pair of Clarks.

Looks good but a bit too tight -
This shoe is not the most comfortable shoe. It is good enough to go to work if you do not have to walk a lot. Looks very nice.

They are a little tight across the front when worn for a whole day. Better worn for just a little while or if I don't have to walk or stand for extended time.

Very comfy!
Very comfortable. Just a tidbit tight when I first put them on, but they adjusted to me feet very nicely. Second time I wore them, I walked downtown for about 6-8 blocks with no foot problems afterward. That's hard for me to do!!!!

Narrower in toe than expected -
The Clark's Fia looked like it would be a good work shoe (I teach and most often wear pants). I don't mind the plain styling, mainly because I wear an 11W and styles are limited at this size. However, the shoe was too narrow in the toes, while fitting well everywhere else. Other reviewers have remarked that they've stretched out the toe by stuffing a pair of socks in there for a few days. I tried this but it didn't work. I had ordered shoes from the Artisan line before and had the same problem (too-small toe area).

Not the comfort that I expected -
There is a very rough spot on the inside back from the seam, and the upper edge isn't finished and is also very rough. Also slips on the back. I'm using moleskin so that I can wear them.

I've finally learned that anything more than a minimal heel will make a shoe uncomfortable for me, period. Fia's heel is about as high as I can get, and it is a very comfortable shoe. I usually wear a wide, and these are just a nudge bigger than I expected. Still, I wore them all day on day one, and had absolutely no problems with comfort.
As for looks, it is a more professional, understated look, but perfect for the slacks that I ordinarily wear. I very much recommend these shoes.

I live in Texas, and with his order going to Michigan, he has to deal with much colder weather, he has a greater need for his comfort in their colder weather.
