I have been looking for a good pair of shoes to wear without them being tennis shoes. These fit the bill pretty well. I can\'t wear them without hose otherwise I will get blisters, bit other than that they are great. I wear wide shoes and it has been hard to find something that fit, the width of these are very nice. I would recommend them, but with the understanding that you cannot wear then without socks or hose.

Gives you a blister on your heel! This shoe is very comfortable except for the fact that it gives you a blister on the back of your heel! Honestly, I have very wide feet with bunions and it's hard finding a shoe that's comfortable around the toes. This shoe is comfortable around the toes, but the back rubs against my heel. It's unfortunate because other than that, it is very comfortable.

I love the shoes. They are soft, flexible and easy to put on. The size was perfect and that size is very difficult to get. The multicolors of brown on the shoe makes it perfect for many different outfits I wear.

I found these shoes to be super cute and comfortable the first time I wore them. They fit great since I wear a 7N and usually have a hard time finding shoes that fit. They look good with jeans and casual pants and I have worn them numerous times already. My feet never got tired or sore wearing them.

I ordered these shoes to wear with ankle length brown pants. I normally wear an 8 1/2 s-N. I was leery about the sizing but they are very comfortable and stylish. Wore them all day without a problem. I might get a Slim next time as they were almost too comfy for the first wear.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: I love Munro for the narrow fit but they are pricey!

These shoes are great. They are so comfortable right out of the box. The leather is so soft and the look great with jeans, leggings or skirts. They are true to size. I don\'t like feeling squeezed in my shoes and in these I do not feel like that at all. I would definitely recommend these shoes.

I was disappointed that this shoe was too wide. I wear an 8 narrow and hoping with the strap it would fit. It ran wide. I loved the look and style and it felt very comfortable, but I wanted to wear it for work with skirts and pants. But even with a sock on it was too wide. If the strap was shorter with more elastic or adjustable, it would probably have worked.

I'm always on the lookout for narrow shoes that are not clunkers. These shoes are comfy, good looking, and with the addition of a small pad, narrow enough. They look great with casual pants, jeans, etc.

I bought the Referee in size 4 1/2M in Black few weeks ago. The N5 system makes it really comfortable to walk around all day. I can wear it with socks or stockings. Looks cute with jeans, slacks or skirt.

When I first tried these on, they felt much too wide and loose. But as I walked in them, the insole and heel keep my foot in place in a comfortable way. I\'m glad I kept them.

This shoe felt perfect the moment I put it on. Super comfortable insole, and a nice, soft fit. No breaking in necessary at all. I have a pair of Naturalizer boots as well that felt just as good on day one.

Love these shoes. Zappos' fast shipping is wonderful. Got these shoes the day after I ordered them. Referees are super comfortable (padding inside the shoe, padded sole) and go great with work attire or jeans. I love them.

These shoes are very cute and comfortable---lots of cushioning and support! The sides do bulge out a little when I walk, but it's no big deal, plus, my feet are really narrow. I would recommend them---they are a stylish shoes you can wear if you're walking around all day.

Great basic shoe. They are nondescript enough to go with a lot of different things but not boring because of the stitching and button details. I needed a good basic brown shoe and this fits the bill perfectly.

I bought these shoes to wear during a professional trip abroad. As with any new shoes, there were some issues the first few times I wore them; however, I was putting high demands (lots of walking) on them. I'm happy to report they have become my 'everyday' working shoes (and casual too!) and I'm quite pleased with my purchase!

I investigated several pairs of shoes before selecting these and am, as always, grateful for the input provided by others which helps save costly mistakes and sore feet! This shoes is attractive without being overly \'cute\'. I have long, narrowish feet and I needed something which would be comfortable for long periods of walking and standing - these are doing the job. They are narrow enough without being too loose and their length is good. Support is good. Was a good choice at a fair price.

I have a hard time finding shoes because my feet are so thin. I wear a 10 narrow and finding shoes is not easy. I went into the Naturalizer store and was told they only go up to a size 9 in narrow now, so I took my chances and ordered them online. I am so glad that I did. These are very comfortable shoes. I stand on my feet all day as I am in retail and my feet do not hurt after wearing them. I bought them to wear with leggings and they look fantastic.

The rich brown color made the shoes even more attractive than the picture. The size was true. Even though I wear a AA or AAA, the heels didn't slip. Since I usually wear a low heel, they felt very flat, but perfect for our casual life in Seattle. Unfortunately, they were cut so that top of one shoe cut across my bunion. I tried for a month to break them in. Either the trim didn't stretch or my foot was just too tender. I ended up returning them. This was my first order from Zappos. The service was fantastic. I'll keep trying to find something to fit.

I ordered the Wide in a half-size smaller than my usual size, which is the same thing I had to do with another pair of Naturalizers I bought last year. \r\n\r\nThe shoes are soft and slipper-like, though my toes still feel a little squished and sore at the end of a day, despite the Wide width. \r\n\r\nI\'ve mainly worn them with thin socks, so I haven\'t had blisters, but I could see blisters forming on my heels if I were barefoot. \r\n\r\nI knew what I was getting since I saw the photos, and they look like they did on the website. Cute if you look at them from the right angle, but from another angle they look a little matronly to me.

I bought the Naturalizer Referee in brown leather in 6WW for work shoes that I could wear with slacks and skirts. I couldn\'t find stylish work shoes with firm arch support (as I have in my Chaco ZX sandals), so I need extra wide to accommodate high-arch insoles and still avoid irritating my bunions. This shoe met that criteria, but the size 6, which was the smallest in extra wide, was still too long, so I needed to add Heel Snugs, which helped a bit. Because of all the modifications, I could not give it 5 stars. Overall, I regret the purchase, especially after I found the Privo Spangle 6W fit me and my insoles perfectly.

The shoe was spot on both in width and length without any weird padding to throw off the fit. Very comfortable immediately. I didn't have to spend two weeks "breaking them in" for a few hours a day at work until the pain ceased. I wear these as my commuting shoes when I wear skirts. They are pretty enough so that I don't look like a total fashion retard going to and from work, but comfortable enough to walk home from the subway (20 minute walk). I love them!

These shoes were immediately comfortable, and this was definitely the most reasonable site to order them from. As an added plus, Zappos sent them overnight although I ordered regular shipping.

 |  | I just want to thank you, and commend the customer service staff at Zappos. I just couldn't believe it when you actually kept me abreast of the certain pair of shoes I was looking for! Having a size 4- 1/2 foot, is very hard finding shoes. I could wear certain kinds of shoes such as boots, clogs, etc…but having to wear 3 heavy pairs of socks in order for them to fit! Well, they fit, but my feet kill me! Clogs such as the ones I purchased, seem to be more comfortable. I'm just hoping that they're not too big for me. I can’t wait to get them and see!
