I have difficulty finding the width sizes that fit. These shoes fit the bill. Zappos handled the transaction quickly even though I returned an earlier selection. Great experience.

I bought these shoes for my 88 yr old dad; his feet were swollen and he needed a shoe that he could slip on easily and then be comfortable while walking. This shoe has proven to be excellent in both categories. On top of that, it is a nice looking casual/dress shoe that can be worn with khaki's or dress slacks. Once again Zappos was fast and efficient. I love working with Zappos!

Look great, feel great, but are built like utter crap. Like everyone else is saying, the sole cracked apart across the ball of the foot within a month or so of ordering. I doubt I will buy Rockport shoes again.

I bought these from Zappos in Dec 08, they looked good, fit well, and comfortable. The one fatal flaw is in the sole design; they use hard rubber inserts in the softer rubber main sole and after limited office use, they developed cracks in the soft rubber sole at the flex point of the ball of the foot. Unfortunately, after three months they demonstrate that they will not last at all. I hope you all have a better experience; I do not recommend these shoes. I moved on to the Rockport Cerulo which fits very well, is very comfortable, and formal enough for business. They feel like sneakers with better support, and do not implement the flawed sole design of the Tawney; The sole pieces are solid rubber with slight traction grooves. I hope these last long, considering I have been buying Ecco for many years. Zappos service is excellent.

Great Shoe but both soles cracked after 1 month!!!
The shoe looks and feels great. However, there is one major problem that I experienced. If you look at the bottom view of the shoe, you will see a groove across the sole, right above the word ROCKPORT (in blue letters). On both of my shoes, after about a month of moderate use, the groove cracked all the way across and thru the entire thickness of the rubber sole. The shoes are no longer water-proof. I wouldn't buy these shoes...

Overall nice shoe -
The shoe is very nice, but a little snug at first (narrow). It took wearing the shoe about three times before it felt good. Now I really like it, it wears well as a work shoe and I walk about 3.5 miles a day. If I were to buy another pair I'd buy them just a bit wider.

I am 6'4, 300 lbs and my dogs don't bark in these shoes. Great comfort and great service.

Good looks, great comfort -
Nice looking shoe that is dressy enough to be worn with slacks and a sport coat; that feels like a tennis shoe and is also comfortable under a pair of jeans.

Didn't really like them -
Bought this shoe before a conference so I had not time to break them in. Other reviews said they were great right out of the box, that was not my experience. If I had taken another pair of shoes I would have returned these. Zappos is a great company and I will buy many more shoes from them but this pair just didn't do it for me.

I ordered these on a Monday night and the shoes were on my desk the next morning. I needed a new pair for a week long conference that I attended and this did not disappoint. They are as comfortable as sneakers.

Need for comfortable shoes -
The shoe was very comfortable right out of the box. They did not need to be broken in. I have a hard time finding comfortable shoes being on my feet most of the day. They were the most comfortable right out of the box shoe I've ever had. I turned around and ordered another color the next day.

Perfect all over shoe -
True fit. Easy to wear the very first time out of the box. Great for work even if you're on your feet all day. Makes me feel like I am wearing tennis shoes all day. My feet are not tired at the end of the day! I don’t have a pair that fit better!!!
