Salt to your (budget) taste -
I purchased the salt mill and pepper mill together. I read previous reviews and was concerned about the ease of filling and the durability of the salt and pepper chambers. I found the removal of the grinder easy and the quality of the mills to be excellent. They both grind well and offer many different grinding options. The light is very good and necessary for proper seasoning. Both mills are heavy and large and these are the only reasons I considered giving it 4 stars for comfort. This is definitely an expensive variation of the salt and pepper shakers found in every kitchen but they offer style and presentation. Cheaper models are available but independent reviews rank these at the top and the price reflects it. Overall, I am pleased with the purchase. Time will tell about their durability.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: Specialty peppers add to the usefulness of these grinders.
