Dry feet -
I love my new Zappos rain boots; they look great and keep my feet nice and dry. My only issue is I have wide feet and they seem to be kind of narrow so I can't wear thick socks with them. They are not lined so I will have to invest in some of the light weight smartwool socks to keep my feet warm.

These boots came in very handy this weekend in Chicago. It has been raining for two days straight. I finally decided to venture out of my house in East Village to a festival in Wicker Park and an art show in Bucktown. I walked the entire way. These boots kept my feet DRY. While everyone else was either dodging puddles or resigned to wet feet, I splashed happily along oblivious to the street flooding. I was on my feet for a total of 2.5 hours. In the time I was out, 10 different people commented positively on the shoe and most wanted to know where I bought them. It wasn't until the last 1/2 hour that these shoes became uncomfortable. That is why I give them 4 stars for comfort. But, I stopped at the Walgreens, bought some Dr Scholl’s 3/4 length arch supports and kept on going. The inserts really helped and took the pressure off my feet and my lower back (these shoes have zero support). The only other thing I would say is the white color in these shoes is quite a bit whiter than the picture and there seems to be a lot more of it. I would have preferred them to be more light grey like they appear on screen. The extra white gives them a bit of an "alien feet" look or like you are a power ranger. Either way, they are funky, eye catching and you will get tons of compliments (if you like that sort of thing!).

 |  | I want to thank you for your compassion!!! I explained, I think to all the employees, my situation about having lupus, and a car accident with a broken back, but still needing shoes. They have been all heart! You have picked the best people to work for you. I do not know if you realize it but because I have trouble finding shoes I feel like I know everyone. They are the greatest employees and an asset to Zappos. They really do care! Most people today just want to place their 8 hours punch in and out, get home, and forget their job. I truly feel these people at Zappos are the very best that any company can have as employees. Trump, eat your heart out – these people may not be rich, but where it counts, rich at heart. I truly respect them for them taking their time with me. Most of all, I pray you realize you have the crème of the crop working for you! Congratulations for such great people who do not just go to work for a check but because they care about the people they help. Like me!!! Who knows if I will ever walk again but, I can say they gave me the hope that I may and can walk if I try, especially with my new shoes. Thank you Zappos for the best service anyone can ask for!
