Besides these shoes being cool looking, they are padded and comfortable. They are a bit difficult to put on. You have to loosen up the laces and get around the ankle pad. But once they're on your feet, they hug and support your ankles. They fit about a half size larger than your normal shoe size. I would recommend these to anyone wanting to look cool.

Run small -
I ordered my regular size, but they ran about 1/2 size too small. Needed them for a trip, so I hoped they would stretch out after wearing for awhile, but they didn't and it was too late to send back, so just be careful with size.

As soon as I slid into the Privo Ebb I knew we would bond instantly. My feet spend the majority of their time in work boots, motorcycle/Frye boots; or running shoes when I am running and working out. I have been looking for a comfortable, well made, knock around shoe that I would want to wear everyday. The Privo Ebb fit the bill. The shoe is true to size in length, but it is a tad narrow. Though I have found it stretched just a bit with a thicker sock.

This is a wonderful shoe. It has great support. I have found that other shoes that are comfort shoes don't feel right. On some, the heels are just too low to the ground so the shoe feels flat. My feet don't like that. The Privo has just enough filling in the bottom to give extra support but softness. I highly recommend this shoe. One thing though is order a half size larger. They do run a little small. And let me also add that Zappos was superb! They are wonderful to deal with. Thank you Zappos!

Tight fit - Great looking shoe. It definitely runs a half size smaller than my Privos from last year. I also have a very narrow foot and this shoe fits me snug. I am hoping that the elastic across the top will loosen as it fits very tight. Overall, is still comfortable, but not as much so as prior models.

This shoe fits my narrow feet and provides the support I like for fitness walking. I always wear a half size larger in walking shoes, and this held true in this shoe, also. After trying several shoes, I'm happy with Ryka - no break-in time. Zappos customer service is unbeatable! Thank you Zappos.

This is a great shoe! It is a little hard to get on (have to use a shoe horn) due to my very high arch. They work well with slacks.

I was very disappointed with these Privos. Have two other pair of Privo sneakers that are very comfortable, but found these very different. Agree with other reviewer, they are stiff and not good support. Usually wear 8 in Privos, but that was too small; also tried 8.5 and that did not feel much better. Had to return both. I so wanted them to work because I love the color (pine).

Make sure you order your shoe 1/2 size larger than what you are used to. Because of the huge elastic these shoes will be tight. However, they are very cute!!!

Love the look - wish the shoe had a little "give." Like others have stated, I struggled with sizing. The shoe surrounds your foot all around at a high level and has little give in it. The first pair I ordered felt like they were "choking" my feet and one foot started cramping. Second pair (1/2 size larger than I usually wear) is wearable and I will keep them.

I really like the style, so I convinced myself they weren't too small. At the end of the day I had to reassess that. They feel at least half a size smaller than another pair of Privo sneakers I bought last year. I thought they might ease up after a second day of wear, but those elastic bands across the top are very firm. And unlike shoe laces, can't be adjusted. I've ordered a half size larger now, and I hope that's enough.

Looks great, but caused blister and has little support -
I thought this shoe looked great and casual. I have worn it one time, and got a bad blister on my heels where the elastic band around the top edge of the shoe would rub my skin. I was hurting very soon after wearing this shoe.
It also had very little support, and I expected much more from Clarks brand. I could put an insole in the shoe to help that problem, but the shoe is expensive enough without doing that. And then the blister problem would be there. I'll have to return these, if I can.

Not as good as other Privos -
I bought this shoe from Eddie Bauer. I have 2 other Privo styles, this one is not as comfortable, it really comes up all around the foot and you can't move your foot around inside. Seems a half size small, although I find Privo sizing unpredictable. Still looks good, but just doesn't fit well.
