Love this shoe! This is a very comfortable shoe and I receive tons of compliments on them. The only downside was there was not enough velcro on the strap to adjust the fit a bit better. I bought this shoe on sale at a department store and they only had a half size larger than I normally wear, so that could be part of the problem. I shop Zappos all the time and plan on buying other J-41s because I love these so much. The St. Martin is a very easy walking shoe and still would highly recommend.

Great, comfy sandal -
I bought these for a trip to Europe. Wanted a cute, but comfy walking sandal to wear w/ jeans at night and longer skirts during the day. I walked to and from our town here to test them and they were great--no pain anywhere. I get a ton of compliments on them, too.

Awesome shoes -
These shoes are perfect. Comfy. Sporty. Stylish. And with a bit of a heel for us little folks. Love them. And the velcro works great! My only note: I typically wear an 8 in shoes, but was very glad that I ordered and 8.5. They fit perfect.

This shoe is a comfortable wedge for casual wear. The 8 and 8.5 appeared identical in shoe length, but I preferred the tighter straps of the 8M. As most others have reported, a bit short on length and straps are a bit loose, but attractive easy to wear shoe.

I love these shoes! I have struggled with Plantar Fasciitis this summer. I have lived in walking shoes for weeks. I went back to work yesterday, I am a teacher. I bought these because they looked comfortable. I was so glad I did. All day and the shoes felt great. And, I got loads of compliments. I highly recommend these!!!

I get so many compliments on these shoes. They have the right combination of strappiness and comfort. They look great with dress clothes and work clothes and are comfortable enough to wear all day. I am annoyed that I didn't buy them in more than one color, because now I can't find them anywhere.

I love these shoes. Wore them right out of the box and I can walk in these for hours and hours. I even do my 30 minute walk at work IN the shoes they are that comfortable. I'd like J41 to make more business-appropriate shoes.

Great sandal - I love these sandals. Very comfortable and they look great. I usually wear a 10 but a 9.5 fits well. Comfortable enough to wear to work. I'd recommend them!

I love them! These are the first pair of dress shoes that I have bought in a long time that are actually good for my feet without looking too orthotic like. I had surgery a couple of years ago for really bad heel spurs, it did not go well. It got infected so I took a long time to recover. Since then I have been very picky about the shoes I buy. It took wearing these a couple of times to get used to them, but now they are great and the toe strap doesn't bother me. I would definitely recommend them!

Sweet! Nice sandal, and actually has some height but remains comfortable! The only point off for me was that the ankle strap is a little loose even on tightest setting. So they need a little more adjustment room to be perfect.

A Teacher's Dream -
I bought these shoes a couple of weeks ago and I'm in heaven! I love them! As a teacher, I'm always trying to find a pair of sandals that are cute, but easy to stand and move around in 8 hours a day. These are perfect. This was my first time purchasing J-41 sandals and I must admit - they are awesome. I love my sandals so much, I just bought the J-41 Avignon sandal and it has amazing style and comfort too!

Perfect! A "meaty" sandal that looks nice!
I had been searching high and low for a sandal like this: it's casual, but it's not a flip flop. It's nice, but not too formal. It's got a high heel, but is comfortable. I wore these on a business trip to Mexico the second day I had them. I walked and stood for an entire day in them and have no complaints! And the traction is great. And this is from a person who usually takes off heels after about an hour! Kudos to J-41 - you hit the nail right on the head with these shoes!

I was skeptical buying these shoes at first because my feet are wide. But I tried them on and they fit nicely. I like the cushion base, and when walking, it feels shock absorbing, which I was surprised to find in a wedge shoe. I can see how they might be a little loose for someone with narrow feet. But as of right now, they fit comfortably and I really like them!

I bought this shoe to go to England with me. I needed something I could (hopefully) walk in all day that would have enough style so I could wear it with a skirt. I only wore these shoes a couple of times before my trip and thought they were very comfortable with the exception of the toe thong. After a day of walking around the mall, the skin between my right toe was quite sore. I think the straps are a bit thick there. The left foot was only slightly sore in the same spot. I gave myself a couple of days rest and wore the shoes again, but only for running errands. Off to Europe, I walked in them some days ALL day (I always alternate shoes on trips like these). And while I have not found ANY shoe that can withstand that without some sort of foot-soreness, I did feel these worked very well. After that initial soreness between my toes before I'd left, I was fine. The sole is very shock-absorbing and I never once felt rubbing from any portion of the straps. The shoes are a tiny bit clunky (not delicate) but still worked with a casual skirt. I don't know what they mean by "removable footbed" since I could not see anything that was removable on the shoe, but the footbed lining is very comfortable, cushy, soft. I highly recommend these shoes.

Got these shoes for a trip to NYC. Walked all over for 2 days in these and my feet felt great. My girlfriends couldn't believe that I walked around in a heel with out being uncomfortable in them. Get all kinds of compliments on them. The ankle strap has stretched out some but has not affected the overall fit of the shoe for me.

I really like these sandals. The straps are a bit loose -- the Velcro does not go very far around the strap, so if I tightened them, I'd have a bunch of loose strap left over. So they're a bit loose on my feet, but otherwise they are great.

Great Looking Sandals -
I really like these shoes, however, the Velcro strap is not very reliable, and the leather straps can stretch and loosen the fit/support of the sandal. I am a real critic when it comes to shoes for my feet. These most certainly are good looking and comfortable, just wish the straps wouldn't stretch; I'd wear them all the time if they didn't.

This shoe was so comfortable. I wore it walking around SeaWorld and Wild Animal Park in San Diego. Never hurt my feet. I would highly recommend these. Very cute too.

Good and getting better -
These nice-looking shoes initially made me a bit nervous because of the many thin and rather tight straps. I took a chance and kept them, and I'm glad I did. The straps have stretched with wear, and have become quite comfortable. It remains to be seen if they'll stretch too much, but in the mean time I have handsome, stable platform sandals.

They have just enough of a heel to make them dressy, yet can easily be casual. So fun! I wear 6.5-7 and a 6.5 in these was a perfect fit. The thong between the toes is positioned a bit far forward for what I would typically like, but nothing that makes them uncomfortable or difficult to walk in.

1st of all - Thanks Zappos for amazing customer service. The shoes showed up in less than 24 hours (how do they do it?) - AMAZING. Friendly and helpful staff. Bravo.
2nd - These shoes are phenomenal. I love them. I got a 9 and was a bit worried since a lot of customers found them big (normally I wear an 8 1/2 to 9 depending on the shoe), but they actually are perfect. My feet are a little wide so maybe that's why they fit me so well, but any smaller length wise and I might have been sliding off the front or back. This size leaves about a 1/4 inch on the front and back of my toe and heel. They are super comfy, dress up and down, easy to maneuver in, great traction with the recycled tire tread sole and really nice styling. I will be wearing them in a movie I am filming. I will DEFINITELY be buying more styles of J-41's particularly the Journeys.

These shoes are fantastic. I was a little worried at first because they looked so big coming out of the box (I'm a size 11 so this is a concern for me). Fortunately, they made my feet look smaller and felt broken in from the moment I put them on. They are so cute and go with everything from skirts and shorts to capris. I've received many compliments on these shoes and would recommend them to anyone. And you can't beat the service at Zappos!

SO COMFORTABLE!!
I can't wear any of my other shoes now because these are so comfortable! I love the velcro back strap, and the floral design on the side. These are more comfortable than my gym shoes. I would highly recommend these.
