I'm a long time NB lover, but I found these shoes to be just a bit too short for my foot. I am usually a size 8.5D in NB sneakers and have found the width of their D's to always fit just right. I thought these shoes were really attractive looking, but there's no way I can work a 12.5 hour nursing shift in them; my toes felt too cramped. Since it's so easy to order with Zappos, I recommend you order your 'regular' size and then the next size above. You can always return the pair that doesn't fit for free!

This is probably the 10th+ pair of New Balance running shoes I have owned. I like them but they aren\'t quite as comfortable as previous pairs.

Extremely pleased with shoes. These were recommended by sports trainer who was instrumental in treating my running injuries (I had physical therapy for multiple issues after running for about 25+ years). Not only were shoes perfect, but price was comparable with other sites I have used for years). But best part was the A+ service I received from Zappos. They know their shoes and go out of their way to provide excellent customer service. Way to go, Zappos!

These shoes are great for running. So great in fact that I really just keep buying the same pair. The first time I got them from a running store after being told I had high arches and needed better support. Since then, I order the same shoes from Zappos and get them delivered to my door the next day for a better price! The shipping at Zappos is amazing!

These are fantastic! I am in my 50s & wanted to start running again (it's been 15 years or so). I started out walking, wanting to work up to running, but until I tried these shoes, I couldn't even walk for more than a mile or so. Everything else gave me blisters or just plain hurt. I finally tried these. I've been using them for a month & am now up to 6 comfortable walking miles, with 1/4 mile run, 3 times per week. I couldn't have done it without these shoes.

These shoes were heavier then my previous shoes. It took a couple of weeks to get used to them but now they are really comfortable. I was looking for a stability shoe to help me walk correctly when I am exercising. This shoe is just what I needed.

They squeek, the shoes sqeek when you walk in them! I also bought a pair (same ones) for my husband and both our shoes squeek. They are extremely comfortable and cushioney but they squeek, I hate that they squeek. Other than the squeeking, we love the shoes.

I love these shoes; fit and feel comfortable form the first. I wear them because pronate and they keep my foot stable; no knee pain until I wear them out.

This is a great shoe that is true to size. I have a very wide foot and only buy New Balance. I walk for exercise every day and have had no problems.

I usually love New Balance shoes in an SL-1 last, size 11 2A. These are an exception; too wide and virtually no arch support. Too bad, I like the blue/silver color.

Great shoe - I\'ve been putting alot more miles on my feet in the past 8 months and started having bad pain in the base of my big toe. Have loved NB for very long because they are wide enough and don\'t pinch my neuromas, but the toe pain indicated I needed to address pronation too. These worked out fine - the arch was a tad more than I\'m used to, but it has helped with resetting my alignment. Toe pain is gone after about 3 weeks (and 120 miles).

These shoes are quite good. They have good cushioning and seem to be sized correctly. They are a bit heavier than what I'm used to. After about 3 or 4 miles, the bottoms of my feet start to get hot. Otherwise, they are great!

Based on reviews, I ordered a 1/2 size larger and wide because I usually wear a wide in New Balance. The shoes were huge! They looked and felt like I was wearing the box. I usually love NB, but this model felt really clunky to me. I'm returning them and choosing a different NB shoe. As always, Zappos service was great! Best shopping site on the whole internet!

Looking for the right shoe -
I have a narrow heel, but am wide across the ball of my foot, and have long toes. Based on other reviews I ordered a half size up. Very comfortable; the length of the shoe was good and it wasn't loose in heel. Unfortunately I found it slightly snug across the widest part of my foot. Might have ordered again in wide, but I didn't care for the extended sole, designed for stability -something I've since determined I don't need.

I am a size 9 street shoe, but always order a size 10 in NB. [I wear thick Thorlo socks]. Anyway, the size 10 in this shoe was 1/2 size larger than the typical NB 10. It\'s a nice shoe overall.

This shoe is great for running! I have been running for years, and this is by far my favorite. I did a lot of research before making the big purchase, and it has proven to live up to what the reviews said. Not only is it comfortable and shock-absorbing, but it is stylish as well. It also has good traction, that grips well on all terrain.

I have to admit this is the first pair of New Balance's that have been hard on my feet. I have been wearing Thorlos to help with that. Part of the foot pain issue may not be the shoes themsleves, I am six months pregnant. I do find that they accomodate my orthotics comfortably.The shoes wear well. I have been walking 3.5 miles a day 4-5 days a week since they've been purchased.

This is my second pair of WR859s. I typically wear a 7 1/2 in street shoes but always go up a 1/2 size for running/walking shoes. The 8s were perfect. Great support in arch and under the toes. And they look great too.

Great shoes. I bought them for a trip to Disneyworld, knowing my flat feet would kill me. I put in an orthotic from Sports Authority for flat feet and it made these shoes amazing. Best shoes for flat footed heavier women.

I have a wide food with a high instep - a curse! These shoes are a perfect fit for me - plenty of room in the toebox and there's no slipping around the ankle. They offer great support and are super cushion-y.

My New Balance tennis shoes are light weight, cool and roomy. No rubbing or uncomfortable spots from the moment I began wearing them. They are extremely comfortable. The detailing is quiet, sans neon colors, flashing lights or giant logos. Perfect.

I have very wide feet and I wear orthotics, so it can be hard to find the right shoe. These fit really well, plus they look great with jeans, so I feel good in them. I highly recommend them and Zappos, which is the best shoe company!

Great shoe -
Great shoe. They were comfortable immediately, no "breaking in" to do. I noticed that I walk straighter in them, cool! My only beef is they make noise when you walk, it is annoying! Not really a squeak, but more of a noise, each time you step. Other than that LOVE them!

Perfect fit for narrow feet -
Since I have a difficult time finding shoes which fit my narrow feet, I was pleasantly surprised by this shoe. They fit perfectly from the moment I put them on. The heel cup hugged my foot with no slippage and the toes were wide enough to give lots of room. Plus, they look great! New Balance is the only brand of athletic shoe I have found that still makes a narrow width.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: Klogs for women's dress/walking shoes also come in narrow widths.
