Love these shoes. Some people say that they are small, but I actually went down a 1/2 size (partly because the first pair I bought was on sale, but they fit, so I bought the second pair in the same size!). They do loosen during the day, but it's easy to pull the tab on the shoes without creating too much attention. Enjoy!

I love my Ahnu Benicias! I have a pair in teal too! They are so comfy and you can dress them up or down. I love Ahnu shoes because their soles are shaped just right for my feet!

I paid a lot of money for these shoes and am VERY disappointed that the strap comes loose as I walk. I will try taking them to a shoe repair as well and get velcro put on, but the maker should have thought of that!!

I bought these shoes in brown at a different retailer. They were on sale, so I bought the 10½ that was left, normally I would have gone for an 11. They fit perfectly. I wore them all day and forgot I had them on until the strap became loose.

I like the shoes because I can use my orthotics with them. I had to add a purchased gel arch support because I need more arch support. They are a nice substitute for sneakers.

These shoes feel good, have enough cushion, wear well, but the strap keeps coming undone. The first week worked well, but on the 2nd week and thereafter the latch keeps slipping. Very annoying!

I originally ordered the size 8 (which is my usual size). I found that they were a little tight but they fit my sister perfectly, so, she took them away from me. (Sisters do that!) I them ordered the 8.5 and they fit perfectly. So comfortable. I am a senior citizen and wanted an in between summer shoe and this one fits the bill.

These shoes are exactly what I was looking for, as far as a sporty mary jane styles go. Not only are they quite comfortable, but my mom even said they make my foot look smaller (I wear a size eleven). My only complaint is that the strap loosens as you walk, which makes them a little looser than my liking. I am considering having a cobbler affix velcro to hold the strap in place.

These look adorable. Plan on trying them on at a store tomorrow (that doesn't carry the cornflower blue). If they fit well, I'm gonna order them here ASAP. I am planning to fix the strap problem by stitching a little velcro (hook & loop) on the outside of the shoe under buckle and the back of the tail end of strap to secure it and prevent the slide problem mentioned throughout.

My husband purchased these for me as a gift for my birthday and I couldn't be more thrilled. They are so comfortable and they look great! They seem to run a little small, as my husband got me a size nine and I normally wear an eight and a half. So maybe order a half size up?

This is a very cute shoe, but one of the most painful. I’ve tried to wear them several times, but have always ended hobbling and nursing blisters soon after. I put them on last week, got in my car, and had painful spots on my heels as soon as I got to work. No walking, but somehow they managed to rub me raw. I really don’t think this could have been prevented with a bigger size since they fit fine.

When I first ordered these, they were so comfortable that I immediately ordered a second pair. Fortunately I didn't wear both pairs, because I needed to send the second one back. Initially it felt great, but after walking around with it for less than a month, the support in the shoe feels like its gone mushy, and so has the shock absorption. It still looks cute so I'll wear it for a short walk, but nothing requiring more than 3-4 blocks. I'm giving it a 3 for comfort because of its rapid decline. When I first tried it on, it was a 5.

Pretty, comfy, but flawed -
I was so happy with the look and comfort of this shoe. But after wearing it for a short period of time I found that the strap does not stay buckled down so it was constantly loosening and then my heel would slip. So the shoe doesn't work if you have a narrowish heel.

Sad to say that the closure slips and loosens. Otherwise a perfect shoe. What a disappointment. I thought that I might be able to sew the closure tab down, but then I would not be able to get my foot in the shoe. I will return the shoe and hope the manufacturer will fix that closure.

These shoes *would* be perfect except for one thing: I walk for 5 minutes and the ribbon that secures the mary-jane strap has worked itself loose. I have to tighten the strap LITERALLY every five minutes.

My Second Pair!
I love these shoes! This is the second pair I have purchased. I walk on concrete much of my work day, and these shoes have saved my feet and ankles. I wish I could simply replace the insert, the outer shoe still looks great! They may be a little tight at first, but after a couple of wearings, they will fit like a glove!

LOVE these shoes! I bought them last spring and have worn them almost daily since (except in the snow!) They are easy to slip on and off (essential when keeping up with a toddler) and look a bit sassier than sneakers. I have a slightly wide foot that can fit into some regular shoes and the Ahnu's feel great - socks or not.

Not quite the same as my old Ahnu Benicia’s -
These don't fit quite as nicely as the other shoe that I have in the same size but different color. I even had the box and I went back to be sure I had the right size when I ordered and I did. They run a little short so they aren't as comfortable as the other pair. :(

Comfortable right out of the box - no break-in period. Adorable and able to wear with nice slacks as well as jeans.

Captures my spirit -
This shoe is extremely cute. I bought it in mushroom. I feel like a fairy in an enchanted forest. It has a nice understated sporty look to it, which is pretty hip these days. One problem I have with it is the clasp, which is not extremely durable. This would be the perfect shoe if there was some other device in place of it. (It was extremely fun to open/close at first, but after a few days it became noticeably less optimally-functioning.) What's more, I don't like the look of the clasp. It kind of kills the shoe's charm, cheapens it somewhat. Another problem, which I didn't anticipate, is that the shoe has a sort of revealing hole on the top, which makes picking socks to wear with it kind of annoying. (And you have to wear socks with it, otherwise you will get blisters.) But on balance, it is well worth it, because this shoe is really phenomenal. I also feel it incumbent upon me to dissipate the reports of this shoe being very uncomfortable/causing blisters. This is simply not true, unless you bought shoes too small. Also, you will obviously get blisters if you don't wear socks.

Cute red shoes -
I bought these to wear on a walking trip. The back of the shoe is higher than my tennis shoes so I came home with some blisters, but overall, they are great! The arches are perfect and they are really CUTE!

Your people know what is the most important thing to do to bring customers back time after time after time. You can have an excellent product, but if the customer doesn't feel important, it makes no difference what one is selling. Too bad more people in the business world don't apply
