Amazing shoe...but stiiiinky!
We got these for a trip to Mexico. They were perfect for hiking on rocky beaches, and my son just loves them. However, they smell so bad; people can notice the stench from several feet away. We tried washing them, and even drenching them in pure lavender oil after washing and they still smell pretty funky. Sad, because they are such practical shoes, especially for life in California during the summer. Honestly, not sure if we would buy them again, just because of the smell factor.

Pleasantly pleased -
These are a great pair of shoes. They are both durable and sturdy. My 4 year old loves them and wants to wear them on every occasion. This is a shoe that wears like a sneaker but serves a sandal. I will buy them every spring/summer.

Great shoes, a little hard for my son to get on by himself -
We love everything about these shoes except that they were a little hard for my son to get on by himself. After a wearing them for a few weeks they loosened up enough so that he could get them over his heal more easily. Other than that, they are wonderful.

Great all-around shoes -
I bought these for my son who dislikes sandals. These are perfect--they look just as good with dressier outfits as they do with shorts. He is very tough on shoes and these are durable, does not show much wear after about a month, and they are easy for him to put on by himself. I get many compliments from other moms who want to know where they can buy these.

Just like Dad's!
My daddy has a pair of Keens and I liked them so much I had to get a pair for myself. They have good support for the arch of my foot and have a very soft and pliable footbed. The interior is lined with breathable fabric across the top so it breathes and does not rub my ankle like the other pairs that I have had from cheaper brands. I love them!

His little feet are in love!
These shoes are great for little ones in and out of the water! My son wears them everyday and can put them on himself because of the great velcro. I will be buying him these every year as his foot grows!

Love Keen shoes!
Keen is one of my personal favorite brands. This is my 2 year old's second pair. He loves this shoe, so they must be comfortable, plus they are easy for him to put on all by himself, which is a priority when you are 2!
My only caution, as with any sandal, is to avoid playgrounds with natural mulch, since it gets into the shoe and can scratch the bottom of their feet.
I love that they keep his feet cool, while protecting his toes with the tough rubber cap for which Keens are famous. Not to mention they are so cute compared to many boy's sandals.

Requested to be worn by 3 year old -
You know that one morning that the three year old wakes up and decides they have to make ALL decisions regarding what they are going to wear?? Well, I am thankful that ours decided that this is the shoe that he wants to wear daily! Great foot support, easy for him to put on and take off, great looking (for casual, play and church), waterproof, and protects those easily stubbed toes while still being breathable. Well worth it, even for the price.

A great hard wearing sandal -
My kids are very hard on shoes and I usually end up buying numerous pairs of sandals every summer. These Keen Newport sandals are great. They look new after a month which is almost unheard of with my sons. They are waterproof, very comfortable and also go in the washer. An excellent buy!

Awesome for active 3-year-old!
My 3-year-old son is constantly running and I wanted sandals to protect his toes. These are perfect! He had these same Keens that he outgrew, and after wearing them everyday of the summer, they still look brand new. I highly recommend these for your active child!!

These shoes have been great! They fit well and are very durable. My son is usually rough on his shoes and after a season of wear they are ready for the garbage, but after this last summer his Keen sandals are in perfect condition! And this is after wearing them just about everyday. I can actually pack them up and see if he can still fit in them next summer, which is a first. The shoes did start to smell after every two or three weeks of wear, but it was no problem since they are waterproof. I would put them in the washing machine and they would come out good as new. I did not order them a size up, his regular size of 13 youth fit fine. I think ppl say they fit small because the ankle hole is kinda narrow and that does make it a little difficult to put them on at first, but once you figure out how to do it (shove the toes in as far as possible than slip the heel strap) it is simple and my four-year-old was doing it himself! It is not too narrow though, and I think that it contributes to the overall fit because they do not slide around and put your little one at risk of tripping. I will definitely buy Keens again!

Awesome Shoes!
I bought these for my two year old who has nearly flat feet. I wanted something with good support and that would breathe well during the summer. These shoes were the perfect find. My son loves them and so do I. The shoes washed up great. They still look brand new! I purchased these shoes a full size larger to fit properly!

Great summer shoe -
This shoe is nearly impossible to get on my 2 1/2-year-old son's feet. But, once it's on, it's great. It's closed-toed and fits snugly so he can run around without fear of tripping like in sandals. And it's nice and wide in the toe area to accommodate chubby feet. They're open and airy, keeping little feet cool in the summer. They dry out quickly and are perfect for splashing in puddles or wading in a stream.
If your child is patient and can handle the struggle of getting the shoe on, it is well worth it.

I bought these for my on the go grandson. They look terrific and protect his toes when he's playing. I'm hoping they hold up as well as the adult Keens do.

Awesome Kids' Shoe!
Having already found delight in the Keens I had acquired for myself, I was anxious to try out the kids' version on my 5 year old daughter. She loves them and, after a couple days of adjustment, has no trouble putting them on by herself. The size was spot on and I love that she can wear them with or without socks (easily adjustable) and that they are equally comfortable wet or dry. The great grips on the bottom make them perfect for all of her summer activities and the durability can't be beat. In fact, they are practically the only shoes she's wearing this summer. Next up...Keens for my husband! Thanks again Zappos!

Aidan's First Keens -
We love our Keens; however, being that Aidan is only 2, they are difficult to get on. It amazes me that he can get them off so quickly. The look and comfort are 5 stars!

Stinky!
This shoe made my two year old's feet smell so bad. I have to wash them every time he wears them because of the odor. And dirt and rocks get trapped in these shoes very quickly.

Rugged shoe -
We love this shoe! Great for school where sandals are not allowed. As others stated, got easier to put on after wearing a few times. Not quite easy enough for my 2.5 year old to accomplish himself, but he loves to wear them so putting them on is not a struggle. We also like them with socks when we know we are going to be playing in the sand. Did rub a blister on the big toe, but not sure if it was the shoe or a piece of rubber mulch in the shoe from the playground. We did end up with a full size & half larger, so I think they run on the small side. Love Zappos free shipping & returns! And we love Keens, Grandpa now wants a pair!!
