If you can still find a pair in your size, BUY THEM ASAP! These are truly extraordinary - inexpensive, super comfortable, and nice looking (the "N" does not jump out at you and the brown leather is subdued). Beware, however, you will need to order up when it comes to the width. I am normally a "D" and I need a 4E in these.

Very Pleased -
Shoes were received quickly. Comfort is excellent. Only quibble I have is that I would have liked a little darker brown. I recognize that the shoes appear as they do on you web site but I was hoping for a deeper brown. On balance however, I am extremely pleased with the purchase.

NB 603 -
This shoe is well constructed, as any NB shoe is. It is very comfortable, even for someone who has High Arches. But they do run a little small.

Great Fit!
I got these for my husband. He's really picky about shoes and was hesitant about buying these online. He picked them out and received them the next day!! They fit him great and he wears them all the time now. They have great support for his feet and he hasn't had one problem.

Looks, feels good. As described/ pictured. Would recommend/ buy again. Somewhat more expensive than similar products, but higher quality (4th similar pair, various mfr's in 4yrs).

No way this is true to width - found a 4E to be much more narrow than expected, by about 2 widths. Actually have begun to wear without socks - very comfortable that way, but if socks are worn, they would not fit. More & more NB not consistent in sizing from shoe to shoe. Good thing Zappos makes returns so easy.

The New Balance MW 644 looks great, is comfortable and is a great value.
Unfortunately, it is not made in the US.

4E not what it use to be -
It is a smart looking shoe and it was what I wanted, but it is much too narrow to be a 4E.

Great shoe for work and play -
I bought this shoe for something to wear at work that looked nice, but was comfortable; it fit the bill! Very comfortable. I'm on and off my feet all day. In the office and in the field, they are perfect. They don't pinch or bind at all and breathe very well. Great buy for the price!

More impressive than the shoe is "Zappos"-
Great shoe...I always take a 9.5 and required a size 10 in this particular shoe/brand...but Zappos pulled through and made it right (even after several months and crushing the original box)...I was amazed by Zappos level of integrity and true follow up with customer satisfaction...they back up what they say...it was refreshing to deal with a company that seeks quality of service...I was skeptical about buying shoes "on-line", but Zappos convinced me to stay with them...

Snug -
Nice looking shoe but a little too snug. The shoe is supposed to be 4x but I don't think it is. I should have sent it back. It's starting to hurt my feet if I wear it too long. I use it for my job and am on my feet most of the day. Live and learn.

Extremely comfortable and good looking shoe. They look great with jeans but work fine in the cold weather with khakis or cords.

Good shoe for the money -
It is a good shoe for the money. Not the slickest looking shoe, but overall very comfortable. I found it a little narrow in the toe but otherwise good.

Day hiking in the White Mountains -
I bought this as a light backpacking shoe or day hiker, as an alternative to a trail shoe (low cut hiking boot). Technically the sole is a little too flexible, but it works well enough. We climbed Chicora this week with day packs. Good rock scrambling shoe, and (very important) comfortable on descent because, when tight, it grabs your nicely foot and keeps your toes off the front.
I always order sports shoes a 1/2 size over my street shoes, and even then these seemed too small when I got them. They stretched out to a perfect fit (with heavy socks) after a few hours of wear around the house. They seem to be holding up well and look good for casual wear.
If you have the same needs you might want to consider the Adidas Trail X or XII which is a trail running shoe that also works well in this application and has a slightly stiffer sole.

Soft Comfort, order up.
Not the surefooted approach shoe it looks, but a smoothie with less sense of direction. If you pronate at all, add some arch support. "D" is really C in NB, and "4E" is "2E", so don't hesitate to order wide if you're a true D. And order a half size long, too. Great minimum-plastic looks and all-day comfort.
