I just got these in dark brown and they are fabulous. They were a little snug at the calf at first (I have normal sized legs) but loosened up within an hour. I can wear them for 14+ hours and I am on my feet all the time. I think they look cute with a dress, jeans, anything. They are dressy enough for work. I have gotten a lot of compliments, too!

A truly elegant boot - dress up or down -always looks smart. Fits my small calves and narrow ankles perfectly, with room to spare for even my less-than-skinny jeans.

These boots are beautiful, exquisite, BUTTER SOFT leather. I purchased the Brown Color, Tobacco Calf and it is such a rich, decadent color, people are mistaking these boots as high end couture boots. The leather is so soft, it is beautiful quality. In fact, I love this boot so much, I have just ordered another identical pair because I know this is truly a TREASURE to find boots of this quality, at this awesome price, I have to have 2 pairs. I love the look, definitely a mix between classic and modern, and the boot is comfortable, yet provides a tailored look. The golden buckle and accent belt are beautiful, not overdone and I have worn these boots with skinny jeans and blue jeans. Very nice boots and fit and feel perfect! Thank you Zappos!

Disappointing!
There is no way that these boots have a 15" circumference. I have a 14 1/2 inch calf and could not even get them partially zipped up. Back they go, but they are beautiful.

Zappos comes through again!
I spent a considerable amount of time searching for a new pair of boots to wear with dresses or skirts that had a comfortable heel for cold winter. This boot really fits the bill. By reading the testimonials on Zappos.com I was once again able to pinpoint what was right for me. (I'm always amazed at how someone else's well stated comment can put me on the path of a wise choice! Not something you get when shopping in a store.) These beautiful Aigner boots are true to size and are best worn with a pair of medium weight knee socks. The more they're worn, the better they feel. Because of the high quality leather and suede, I'm very careful not to expose these boots to salt and chemicals during snow. And finally, Zappos service is comparable to none!

Nice Boots -
These are wonderful boots. The calf is a little snug, but I had no trouble zipping them up. The shoe is roomy and comfortable w/room for a pair of socks. I love the color and the soft leather. I bought the Tabacco. I have had no problems w/ these boots and I would buy them again.

Great Boot -
This boot is so comfortable and looked exactly like expected. The boot does seem to run a bit large so keep that in mind when ordering your size. Zappos graciously upgraded my shipping so I ordered the boots on Saturday and received them on Monday much to my surprise!

Dream Boots!!
These boots are gorgeous!! The leather and green suede combination is incredibly rich-looking!! I got a size 8B; with thick socks they fit better, they don't slip. Now I live in Alberta, Canada where the temps fall down to 35F!!, so obviously these boots aren't snow proof or extreme cold proof, but they’re more late spring, early winter for Canada. I also live part of the year in Houston, TX and these boots are PERFECT for Texas winters!! The sole isn't very thick, so one might need a cushy insert or, as I said, thick socks for comfort. Now, the boots fit tight on the calf. I'm very toned with very nice calves and the fit was very tight on me. I was able to get my pair of skinny, green velvet jeans inside the boots when I zipped them up, but it was iffy at first. After that, the leather seemed to stretch some. I got SOO many compliments on the boots, the whole look while I was in Houston for Christmas!! I brought them with me to Canada and now I'm just waiting for the snow to melt and warmer temps (maybe 40F on up!!) to wear them. The buckle adds an elegant touch to this very classy riding boot. I'm going to order them in another color, too!!

Awesome boots!
These boots are just gorgeous, you won't go wrong. The fit is great and they go from casual to dressy...I saw another pair of boots similar style (Coach) and not only were they more expensive they did not look as elegant or as well made as these.

Boots -
They look wonderful top shaft of the boot is very tight does not stretch at all. I am short so they hit right at my knee so that is a bit uncomfortable. They are a bit expensive for what you get.

Love the boot, especially the look and feel. One problem is the top of the zipper snags all stockings.

The calf is extremely narrow -
The boots are great looking, so it's with much regret that I had to return them due to the size of the calf. I have very narrow calves, but couldn't zip them up. If the shaft were longer then there wouldn't be a problem. I'm 5'8" and the boot ends at the widest part of my calf.

Love it! Plan to order another pair in different color. Won't fit legs with large calf, but I have muscular medium size calf and it just fit perfectly / snugly. Highly recommend. Very comfortable. Not too tight in toe box. Beautiful boot.

Beautiful boot!
Couldn't be happier with these boots. Beautiful to look at, nicely fitted through the calf, and plenty of room in the foot -- neither too narrow nor too "low" (I had to return a different brown boot b/c the toe box squeezed down uncomfortably on the top of my foot). Ordered these on Saturday night and had them on Monday -- thanks, Zappos!

I loved these boots, but it has taken me almost a month to be able to pull the zipper all the way up to the top!! The calves are very narrow. I'm hoping that they will loosen out in time and be more comfortable. The size is perfect; it's just the width of the calf that is small. But if you have slightly thinner calves (mine are 16'), they'll be fine. Otherwise they look GREAT!!

Love this boot -
I ordered this boot and thought it was perfect, but then I couldn't zip it around the calf. I had read the description and thought it would fit. Would have kept them otherwise. Very classy look. Unfortunately, I am finding that the dye on several different boots I ordered is rubbing off on my hands. Not sure about why this is happening.

I am in love with this boot. Love the height of the shaft that comes to just below my knee. The blackwatch fabric/tan leather looks so classy. When worn with dark skinny jeans, they really lengthen my legs. Out of the box the left boot felt tight around my ankle, but after a few wearings they feel great. Usually I wear a size 5.5-6 and I kept the 5.5 because they fit snuggly and comfortably with wooly socks. All-around they are a beautiful and classic pair of boots that will look stylish for years.

Snazzy and Comfy -
I was really nervous about buying a pair of dress boots since I'm hard to fit because of arthritis and bunions, but the reviews were so good and the boot looked so attractive that I gave it a shot. I'm very glad I did. This is the most comfortable pair of boots/shoes that I think I've ever had. I can wear these to work and spend and entire day in comfort. I recently wore them for over 12 hours straight as I went from office to work event after hours. Plus, they are really attractive. Fine leather and the buckle-and-strap detail adds a note of class. Finally the heel is perfect for me. Dressy without being high. Very stable to walk in. A definite 5-star purchase.

A little too snug in the calf -
I thought these boots were gorgeous, so I ordered them. Although they fit well on my feet and walk nicely, I noted how tight they were in the calf. I sure hope that stretches in the days ahead. I paid a lot of money for these. If you don't have long skinny legs, you might not be satisfied with the buy. Otherwise they are perfect in every way.

Beautiful boots, but snug circumference...
I purchased the boots with the plaid design. Absolutely beautiful, receive looks and complements whenever I wear them. But I have worn boots this height before, and have never had a problem zipping them up like I do with this pair. They're fine with skirts but it's nearly impossible for me to tuck jeans into them. I couldn't go a size up because the circumference is the same. But I kept the too-snug pair because they're that special.

Perfection!
I am completely in love with my boots, so now I know how Carrie Bradshaw truly felt about her shoes. They are sleek as well as stylish, with the correct heel size and heavenly to wear. As a matter of fact, they are still on my feet 4 hours later. If I wasn't me, I would be so jealous of the wearer, but right now it’s great to be me. Plus added bonus, Zappos has such a marvelous delivery service. I am afraid they have spoiled me so that I simply cannot order from anyone else!

Classic and stunning!
These are a gorgeous boot - a classic riding boot style. I ordered them in the tobacco calf/blackwatch plaid and was not disappointed when they arrived - they looked even better in person than the site's image. They are stunning and very comfortable - so much so that I am considering purchasing them in another color. Just one more reason why I have been an Aigner fan for many years - same great classic styles, quality, comfort and value.

 |  | I just wanted to write in because I have placed many orders in the last couple of months and returned several of the pairs. I am leaving for a trip to Paris in a couple of weeks and I've been searching for the right pair. I've not had much luck, but I wanted to let you guys know that it isn't because I've been unhappy with my shopping experience with Zappos. Quite the opposite actually. Because your customer service and purchasing/returning policy is so great - I just keep coming back.
