So far these boots have been great. They are extremely comfortable and warm. I shopped around a lot and I think these are the best value for a boot of this quality. Also they look really nice.

These shoes were labeled, wide, but I could tell just by looking at them that they weren\'t going to be wide enough. I did try them on, and they were too narrow. They appear to be well made, but I thought they were narrower than labeled.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: I will stick with New Balance for wide shoes.

The Boot: The fit is great. It's true to size. The weatherproof material works well. What I love most about the boot is its total weight. These boots are so light! I have a job that requires walking outside for 10 hours at a time and these boots are the best ones I have tried. I have tried Gore-Tex, Propet and Timberland, but the Columbia Newton Ridge beats all for comfort and durability. The Service: Zappos and UPS delivery, well you could not ask for better service. The Zappos customer service is superior among any I have used! You will not find a better company to buy from! And UPS delivered the box in a timely fashion and intact. Awesome!

Great boots. No break-in period; very comfortable right out of the box. Waterproof as well. I usually have a lot of problems with new boots; but these are great from the start. In fact, I ordered a second pair because they fit so well.

Comfortable light weight boot -
I wear these daily and for that purpose I found them to be very comfortable with no break-in period necessary. They are light weight but still fairly supportive.

I love them!
Been using these to hike the Appalachian trail and find them great! There are comfortable, with very little break-in time. Great grip to slippery wet rocks and on mountains. Couldn't ask for better.

Boots Made for Walking -
I often work as a Range Officer on uneven terrain for long periods of time. These boots give support and are also waterproof - two essential ingredients for wearing comfort. I had outstanding service and delivery from Zappos.
