Excellent service from Zappos. I have been ordering from Zappos for several years and have always received excellent price and service. Returns, when necessary, are easy. Shipment is usually faster than stated. I wear a 10.5 W in Brooks Beast running shoes but I wear a 9.5 M in this Clark Wallabee Boot. I definitely recommend getting these a full size smaller than your regular shoe. I would have ordered them W if available, but the standard width is working out. The sole is wedge shaped and the heel taller and width narrower than I am used to, but after wearing them a for over a month I am used to the feel and now they are my favorite most comfortable shoe. I usually wear SuperFeet orthopedic inserts to mitigate ankle pain, but I do not need them with these shoes. The crepe sole is very soft and comfortable yet durable. The shoes are suede so they soil easily and I won't be wearing them in the rain. I plan on spraying them with Meltonian Water and Stain protector, but that will be another review.

I bought these for my husband and he loves them. He suggested I get a pair for myself. They look terrific on him and he said the comfort is phenomenal. You cannot go wrong with this pair and no one beats Zappos service, no one.

First of all, I owe you an apology for taking such a long time to write you and thank you for your very efficient and very kind customer support. I had been given as a present another pair of Clarks, and for unfathomable reasons it was defective after I had used it only a few times. We had some problems in identifying the model and finally you had kindly offered to replace it with any model you manufacture. I have chosen the Wallabee Boot, since I have had one for many years of rough use. You may remember I was the Commodore of the Miami Sailing Club, and those shoes have been repeatedly drenched with sea water for years. Washing them once ashore and letting them dry out was all that was needed. I wore them in the most miserable weather you can imagine. It took courage to finally get rid of them, since my wife decided I couldn't use them any more. That was after more than 20 years of merciless use. Well, I got the replacement. I have thanked you then and I want to thank you again, since nowadays not many companies honor what they preach. I feel the current search for price instead of quality is a tremendously misguided public trend. In the long run Clarks will always prevail, regardless of the cost, while the current junk unglues after a couple of rains. I wish you continuous success and I hope people realize good quality shoes are the best buy.

Great shoe to wear with jeans or khakis. Would buy again. Good winter shoe, be sure to buy a half size small as they are more comfortable when the sides fit close.

Great shoes and super fast shipping by Zappos! Only downside would be I used a water protectant product made by Kiwi and it turned the soles that were sprayed, the color orange.

For the past 10 or 15 years my husband has worn the Clarks Wallabee boot and has worn out two pair, so have just purchased a third pair for him for his birthday! These things seem to last forever, but his last pair has begun to look a bit grungy. Zappos is a great place for ordering shoes, especially for someone like me who hates to shop. Orders are prompt and I have certainly been more than satisfied with their service.

Great... As Expected -
No problems whatsoever... I really enjoy these shoes. So comfy right out of the box... almost like a favorite pair of slippers. No break in time at all was required. I've worn the style in years past, but until now, none were Clark's. My last pair was a barely adequate rendition until the waffled sole wore through. I now know better. Having already purchased the Desert Boot a few months ago, this purchase of the Clark's Wallabee's was a no-brainer for me. I really appreciate the fact that the solid gum rubber crepe sole won't likely wear out until the shoe actually does. Insoles would be optional, but they are actually distracting as they do slide around in the shoe. One caveat: I work overseas and the ground is covered with a lot of gravel (of all sizes and shapes) laid down and the shoes do require some degree of initial adjustment and coordination as the soles aren't quite as wide as the Desert Boots. Therefore, the tendency to roll your ankles does exist if you're not paying attention to the terrain. With sidewalks or otherwise even surfaces, these shoes outperform any others I've owned. Suffice it to say, I am most impressed with both Clark's and Zappos. Great Quality and wonderful Customer Service.

Wedgies -
The sole is a wedge, not a sole and heel, that feels like a huge bump on my arch. Plus, it is like walking on platform shoes: I twisted my ankle twice by "falling off" the wedge. Had I known this I would not have tried these shoes. My favorite are the Desert Boots, but Zappos was temporarily out of my color and size. I should have been patient and waited. Had I to do all over again I would not have purchased the Wallabee boot.

Wallabee Boot Scoop -
A classic shoe. Always looks good and is very comfortable. Could use a design upgrade in the form of a wider heel. I plan to get some great mileage from this shoe.

Takes me back to the 70's...
I loved these shoes back then, and it's neat to see teens today wearing them. They are UNBELIEVABLY comfortable...the original 'earth shoe'. Great job Clarks.

This is my third pair of Mezlans, all of them purchased here, and the first to disappoint me. The sale price was great, but the online photos didn't adequately picture the shoe. These are low, elongated shoes, tight across the arch, of a sort that look more appropriate for zoot-suiters than European or American businessmen. Pity. I liked the detail on the toe, reminiscent of a wing-tip design, and the lace ends, but I had to return them. So far, so good, although it would have been comforting to receive a UPS tracking number for the return.

I had a pair of these back in college in the late 70's and early 80's and they were great shoes then. I saw some folks wearing them around and luckily I was able to find a pair where I live in North Carolina. These shoes are still great, lightweight and comfortable and go great with jeans or khakis and can fit in with business casually. In fact, I have found them more comfortable then some sneakers I own.

I've been rockin' the same pair of Wally's since the mid-90s, and I still love them. Outside of the care you must give to keep the soul fresh, they're extremely comfortable and stylish. Bought my wife a pink pair of Wally boots...she loves them with jeans. If you've never owned a pair, stop by an outlet store, or pick up a pair online. So simple, yet so timeless and classic!

I found the service to be excellent, especially when you live in rural America and do not have the ability to make such a purchase. The product is exactly what I expected. I probably would have gotten a darker color but this seems to be the original color for Wallabees.

My dad has been wearing them for years. As a kid, I always thought he looked like a goofball. Because you have to admit... wally's are very odd-looking. It wasn't until I got a little older and realized that wally's are probably the most comfortable pair of shoes/boots ever, not to mention the fact that they are a nice looking pair of shoes- very simple. And simplicity is a good thing. If they've been around since the 1960s and are still popular...that has to tell you something. So maybe I was the goofball, and not my dad. Like most people have mentioned in reviews, get a full size or 1/2 size smaller as the boot runs a little bigger. And like most have said, once you put them on, you won’t want to take them off and you'll find a way to make them match with any outfit. AMAZING SHOE...but make sure to purchase some arch supports...once you do that the shoe will TRULY feel AMAZING...

I have bought and worn this same shoe for approximately the last 35 years. The quality, fit, support and comfort have remained constant through out those years. I have purchased other brands of this style shoe and have been very disappointed. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for comfort and quality in their next pair of shoes.

Really comfortable shoe - Classic style, real comfort, great arch support. All around good shoe to do anything in. Actually feels wider than the medium width they are marked as. I have wide feet and they fit fine.

These shoes are brilliant. They're comfortable and have great ankle support. The most important thing to remember with the Wallabees (boot or moccasin) is to order a HALF size smaller than your usual shoe size (men’s and women’s). Last year I bought a pair of moccasins in my normal size and within 2 months my feet were always slipping out of them. They will stretch! So buy a half size down.
