PF Flyers and Red ball jets were all the rage in the fifties when I was a kid. These shoe are comfortable, stylish (to me anyway) and fit true to size. Now if only someone would bring back Red Ball Jets, I would have every retro shoe I want. I really like these shoes.

What more can I say about Zappos' superb customer service that has not already been said. I ordered my shoes and got them the next afternoon. Now for the shoes. I've tried them on, but have not worn them out. I like the look, but they are not as good looking as either pair of my Chuck Taylor's. I don't care for the leather as I like my 50s and 60s retro look shoes in canvas. They feel true to size, but I've not walked in them. I have yet to decide whether to send them back. I love the look. But I'm 59 and I wonder if they will look right on me.

Amazing style and grace - A good friend of mine put me onto PF Flyers about a year ago. I bought my first couple pairs this school year, and have became a true fan of PFs. I highly recommend the "patent leather version" though it is a little pricey compared to the other versions, I have turned many heads with the burgundy colorway and is very favorable with the ladies! If you are a Converse fan, these are the way to go. PF Flyers are the most comfortable shoe I probably own, and on the plus side, the soles mold to the shape of your foot, making it more of a personal feel opposed to the soles of Chucks, that make your foot feel like you are walking on the cement. If you want a shoe that is fashionable and comfortable, PF Flyers are the way to go.

 |  | Zappos, you are amazing! Can you please explain to me how you can make shoes arrive on my doorstep 12 hours after I order them? I placed my order at 10 pm, and by 10 the next morning I got an email saying the box was on my porch. Even my daughter was impressed, because she knows that when you order things ‘on the computer’ they generally take ‘forever’ to get here. We are mystified but very grateful! Many thanks for the most incredible service out there!
