My first disappointment with a Clarks shoe -
Most of my shoes are Clarks and I have long enjoyed the classiness, comfort, and great styling of their footwear. This is my first real disappointment. Overall the shoe looks great and has a comfortable foot bed. The problem is the stretchy sides of the upper which adds tension and pulls the back of the shoe into my narrow heel, cutting and digging. OUCH! The toe box is also wide enough, but really narrow top to bottom so my toenails feel a lot of pressure. I'm buying heel protectors and hoping the shoes will break in before they break my feet.

Great shoes!
The Clarks Impact did cut into my right heel for the first few wears, but now are broken in and very comfortable. They are great for standing all day, as I am a teacher and I love the look with yoga pants or jeans. I would love to have them in brown, too.

Smart casual shoe -
I bought this shoe in both brown and black and find them extremely comfortable, versatile, and stylish. They go well with just about everything -from skirts to jeans.

GREAT SHOE - The MOST comfortable shoe I have ever worn!
This is a great shoe is you are looking for comfort. I have to wear orthodics in my shoes occasionally and these are perfect for that too. The insole just slips out. However, they are so comfortable; I don't need my orthodics as much. After I wore them, I ordered the brown and black suede as well. They are very true to size and I have a regular foot with narrow heel. This little elasticity in the heel makes it perfect for anyone's heel size. Can't say enough great things about this show and they look better in person that the picture portrays.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: Buy one in every color - you will love them - all Clark shoes I have found are very comfortable.

GREAT SHOE - ESPECIALLY if you WEAR ORTHODICS -
I LOVE THIS SHOE - have it in BLUE, BROWN & BLACK SUEDE. I have narrow heels and also have to wear orthodics because my arches have fallen. This is the perfect shoe to wear as is or take out the insole (just slips right out) and put in my orthodics. Best Shoe I have ever worn and I have worn a lot of shoes.

Not as comfortable as Clarks usually are.
I ordered these and had to return them (a first for any of the Clarks that I have purchased in the past). They caused blisters on both my heels and were not a comfortable fit at all. I couldn't find any online reviews of them, so I figured I would give it a shot, but I had to return them because I didn't think they would "break-in" and get any more comfortable. The picture of the shoes looked like they would be rather cute, but they weren't as nice as I expected (again, never had that from any other Clarks in the past that I have bought). The toes were narrow also, causing big toe pain. I ended up having to completely put both my heels in band aids to relieve the pain from these shoes. Definitely not worth the money for these, but BRAVO to Zappos for being so wonderful with the return process, THAT is what makes me such a happy customer of this site. Hope this review helps others.

 |  | My first experience with Zappos.com was during the winter a few years ago when I needed a pair of silver sandals to wear during the holidays. I saw Zappos.com advertised at the airport and thought to see what they were about. The rest is history. During that search for sandals I had as many as nine pairs here to try. They came the day after I ordered them via FedEx and those I didn't choose (I ended up with two pairs) I put back in the box, taped it shut, attached the prepared return label they had enclosed with the shipment, and dropped them off at the packaging store that same day. They were gone almost as easily as walking away from a pile of tried on rejects in the department store! Since then I use them more than 70% of the time when I am shoe shopping. There really isn't anything quite like trying on shoes with the clothes in my closet as well as trying for fit and comfort. It's an ideal way to buy shoes and I highly recommend it!
