I really like these shoes. I have them in 2 colors (black and taupe) and I wear them often. They didn't take too long to break in and I can wear them all day without any problems. The only problem is the width. They're a bit narrow, but the wide is much wider than the medium. But they're a staple of my work wardrobe.

I liked the styling but the shoe itself was at least one size too short. I'd ordered an 8.5 wide, and I suspect the width would have been fine. But even my 8.5 M friend could not comfortably get the shoe on her foot. If I really loved this (which I don't), I would reorder at least one size up.

Disappointing -
I was very disappointed with the fit of these shoes. I wear an 11M and I tried these in 11, 11W, and 12 and none of them fit my foot well. The 12 was too big but even the 11W did not seem wide enough. Strange fit for a great looking shoe and a great brand.

Comfortable!
This shoe is fantastic! In my job, I am on my feet for my entire shift and some days walk a few miles. These shoes do the trick! When I first got them, they felt comfortable, however, I took an extra pair of shoes with me to work to change into while I was still breaking them in. I never needed to! I wore them 9 hours straight the first day, with no blisters! And as a bonus, they have helped a great deal with my knee and back trouble I had from previous shoes. They rest your weight on your heel, rather than sliding it all down to the ball of your foot and your toes. I'll never wear another shoe to work!

These shoes look great but are a little narrow. I usually wear medium shoes, and sometimes wide. For me, medium was way too narrow and wide was still a little too narrow. I would order one width wider than you usually wear. I really like the look though!

Great Buy! I wear anywhere from an 8.5 to 9, depending on the maker of the shoe. I bought these Merrell shoes in a size 9 because of my previous experience with Merrell shoes. I would advise a half-size larger should you choose to wear these with thick socks or if you are on the border with shoe sizes. These shoes are light-weight and will not make your large foot look ginormous. Because of the light, but sturdy materials, they are not as cushy compared other makers. They are comfortable, but if you, like me are over-weight and on your feet for 18 hours, I would suggest wearing thick socks or choosing another brand like Keen. In short, buy these shoes with confidence. They are a great value and are made with quality on mind. This was also my first experience with Zappos and I was not disappointed.

Phyllis is a great looking shoe, it is just tight around the toes. I wear lots of different Clarks and this is the least comfortable of all of them. I wear a wide and ordered a wide, but this shoe wasn't wide enough.

Overall, an excellent shoe! I normally wear a 7.5W or an 8M. However, I ordered a 7.5WW to see if I could find a pair of shoes that were comfortable without me having to take off my toe rings. I have found that shoe with these! Enough room in the toebox to wiggle my toes and avoid the dreaded 'hotspots', enough cushion in the insole to be comfy, a nice little extra cushioning for the ball of my foot, a little bit of a heel to be stylish, and enough 'give' in the leather to not pinch or constrict. At first, I thought these were a little matronly, probably due to the rounded toe and low heel. But with all the 'baby dolls' and 'mary janes' making a come back, this shoe fits right in! And after all, I'm not twenty something anymore! I'm pushing 50 and I've learned that if your feet aren't happy in the right shoes, it can pretty much ruin your day and make one very crabby! Would I buy these again? ABSOLUTELY! Granted, I won't be wearing these with a cocktail dress, but they are perfect for everyday, casual dress for work. And they do look a lot better 'up close and personal', than in the pic.
Zappos is the BEST for shoe shopping!

I wore these shoes yesterday for the first time and I had to cut my outing short because they gave me blisters. I never experienced this with any other Clarks shoes.

When working 8-14 hours a day in a high-end department store, some days COMFORT really matters. It's difficult to find comfortable, workhorse shoes that look stylish in a high fashion work environment. The style is ok, my husband thinks it’s a bit frumpy, but it is very comfortable.

Style and comfort -
I bought these shoes for a special event and had no time to break them in. Found out that they were comfortable from the first wearing and received many compliments from friends and family. I was very satisfied with this shoe purchase.
