Great boots! Bought these for a trip to Arizona and did lots of hiking right off the bat with no break in necessary. I have a rather narrow foot, and after trying many many brands, this one was the clear winner. Highly recommended. Not too crazy about the color though.

I bought these shoes because Vasque fit my feet well. I\'ve been using a Vasque trail running shoe for hiking, and it felt too flexible when hiking over rocks and shale. The Vasque Breeze Low VST GTX has a good stable sole that protects my feet on those rocks. I also like that it is Gore Tex, as I\'ve gone through a stream or two and my feet have stayed dry. I also like the low top shoes compared to a high top, as it is more flexible, and less cumbersome on my ankles. I know some folks need the support for their ankles, but these work great for me.

 |  | Didn’t know where to send a note to the full staff so I’m putting it here. I haven’t shopped Zappos for a few years (how many Birkies can one gal wear at a time)! I’ve hunted and hunted for boots. Not much call for tall boots in the Phoenix area, but the styles changed this year so I wanted to get with it. I hate going to stores so I tried the internet, thought I found gold, but ended up returning because they were too loose or too tall or too short. The light bulb went off and I came back to Zappos and they had calf and height measurements listed - what a brilliant idea!!! I found black suede and grey leather and I had them at my front door a day later! How much better could it get: both pairs fit!!! Please post this for all employees so they can know their efforts are very much appreciated... you all could teach the rest of the corporate world how it should be done.
