I really like the style of the shoes. However, they are not that comfortable for me. The rubber sole (near the toes) extends up and rubs the outside of both my feet. I have tried to break them in, without success. The blisters were rather extreme and I felt them for several days even while wearing alternative shoes. I may take them to a shoe repair store for stretching, but I think the problem is really the rubber sole which has no lining in the front of the shoe. If it weren't for the inner shoe rubbing, the product would be very light and comfortable. I hope the manufacturer reads this and corrects the problem because the styling is very good.

If you buy this product be very careful. The inside has very rough stiching and extra rubber material that it could have been cut off or trimmed. Poor design. I got blisters the first day from wearing this shoe. The Born Tamale is a very cool shoe, the outside is great and nice looking, but when one gets to wear it, that's when it hurts pretty bad. I got a size 12 and it fits true to size. I would not recommend this shoe to anyone. Sorry Born. Good idea extremely poor design inside.

 |  | I just wanted to thank you for being so wonderful. Last week I ordered a pair of shoes but when I got them home the color didn't match so I needed to return them. What I didn't realize was that when I shipped them back to you, my cell phone charger was also in the box. The last couple of days I have been going crazy looking for it. But to my surprise it showed up today. My UPS driver just dropped off a tiny Zappos box. As I opened the box knowing that I hadn't ordered anything, I was amazed and grateful to find the charger in there. This little gesture just proves how much your company goes above and beyond for their customers and I for one truly, truly appreciate it. When you say "We are always here for you" you really mean it! I love your company, site, and all you stand for and do for your customers. I can't thank you enough for making my day! I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
