These sandals are great! Very comfortable and versatile. My friends like them and so does my mother-in-law! They go great with jeans and dresses. There was no break-in period. They do seem a little on the delicate side, and I was worried they would fall apart quickly. However, I have worn them all summer, even on long walks in the city, and so far they are still intact. When I first got them, I noticed a popping noise coming from one shoe. I was afraid they were defective. I don't hear it anymore, so who knows.

Born Nordi Sandals. These are very confortable and look very cute and modern. I have low arches and they give me enough support and my feet never hurt. I wear them from morning to night and they look good with everything. This was a great buy!

The specifics: true to size, comfortable for walking, a little rubbing between the toes, but have improved with each wear. Overall, I'm pleased and happy with these shoes. I bought them for a summer wedding at which I expected to do a lot of walking. I wanted something unique without sacrificing comfort. What's really great is these shoes worked great in a semi-formal setting like a wedding with a cocktail dress and in a casual one like a summer concert with a pair of shorts. I've gotten a lot of compliments!

Oh my gosh, these are so comfortable. Not super stylish, but not hideous. They're prettier than my Birkenstocks, though. I need a good walking shoe for a trip to Italy, and am tired of wearing my trusty Birks and feeling so unstylish. I got these and a pair of Frye sandals and they're about equal in looks and comfort. Not sure which one I'll keep, but I would recommend these if you need a shoe you can walk in that isn't too ugly.

I ordered these but returned them. The 7 seemed a little short in length. They felt comfortable, but I returned them because I decided I didn't like the style. Sorry, don't mean to insult anybody out there who likes them. I ended up getting the Born Lusaka.

I love these sandals! Very comfy and stylish--I\'ve gotten many compliments on them from friends and coworkers. Not quite enough padding for long-distance walking, but great for everyday use. I\'m a teacher, and I love that they feel as good as my beloved flip-flops, but look good enough to wear in the classroom.

Love these sandals. I usually wear size 8 in sandals and 8.5 for tennis shoes or dress shoes. The 8 fits very well, just slightly snug over pinky toes, but I read they stretch a little with wearing in. I plan to use these as my walking sandal on my 3 week trip to Europe. Additionally, Zappos upgraded my shipping free of charge. Ordered late Friday and got first thing on Monday (pretty awesome for a weekend)!

I have wanted a pair of Born shoes for a long time. Every style I try on is extremely comfortable. These are no exception. The cushy sole is great for such a thin sandal. The leather required no breaking in -- so soft out of the box. The ankle straps can be adjusted so that they are loose enough to slip on and off. The thong between the toes does not rub. They are perfect for light walking and dancing. Overall, these are great summer sandals.

These shoes are GREAT! I just got back from 11 days in Paris, walking around all day every day. I wore these shoes all but one day. I had worn them a little before I left, to wear them in but not wear them out. They were a little snug across the front of my left foot at first, but loosened up just the right amount. I did not get a single blister. The only thing that happened was that the balls of my feet got rubbed a little raw the day that we got caught in the rain and I walked around with wet feet rubbing on wet leather for an afternoon. They are so stylish yet casual, they are the perfect shoe, and they make your feet look so slender and chic. I didn't feel like a clumsy American in comfortable shoes like the other tourists I saw, yet I didn't have to walk around in gorgeous yet surely uncomfortable shoes like many women there. I would recommend buying the size that fits you quite snugly, since they do loosen up just a bit. I usually wear 9.5 and I went with the 9. I truly love these shoes.

These shoes are incredibly cute and comfortable which can be dressed up or down. To be honest I ordered them because Zappos is so easy with free shipping. I thought I wouldn't like them, but hey what would it hurt if I got them and had to send them back. Well, they turned out to be the best of the bunch in my order. The leather straps are soft and did not hurt my foot anywhere (including the thong portion). The footbed is super comfortable and made of leather as well. Even the sole is fanciful. All around, a great sandal that goes well with pants, skirts, dresses.

This is a cute shoe. It runs a little small in the toe straps -- I have a small/narrow forefoot and this fit me perfectly. There is very little arch support, though, and the shoe made my feet pronate slightly, so I am returning them.

I ordered these sandals on a Monday night and had them on Tuesday! Thanks Zappos for upgrading my 4-5 shipping to free overnight. The sandals are super comfortable and stylish at the same time; they are exactly what I was looking for. They are in that gladiator trend, but without being too strappy or too trendy. Sizing was perfect; shoe is on the wider side, which for me works well. Can I stress again that they are reallly comfortable? They are!

Very comfortable and stylish. The leather is very soft and the sole is padded, but very thin and flexible. I'd only wear these indoors or on flat surfaces because I can feel the ground through them. The 7M fit me perfectly. I usually wear a 7 to 7.5, M or B width (C if it's available). I ordered the Noce leather--they're too orangy brown for me, so I'm returning and will get these in black instead.

These shoes are really cute and have the potentially to be comfortable and the perfect summer sandal, BUT the front of the shoe was too narrow for me, too (and I have normal-width feet), and they make a very strange noise when I walk. Boo! I’m going to have to return them.

These sandals are really cute and classy. They are a unique enough look not to be your typical flip-flops, yet they are not SO out there that they are "gladiators" (which personally, I find rather obnoxious/over the top 99% of the time). I like that the footbed is cushioned, too. I have these in silver, and am considering getting the brown, too.

I love Born shoes and now have about five pairs ranging from heels to flip-flops and boots. This pair looks great, but the sizing was difficult, since there are no half sizes. As a 6.5, the 7 was loose to the point of floppy and the 6 was too tight across the toe straps. I kept the 6 however and had them stretched at the shoe repair. Problem solved. They're cute and practical. Having a high instep, Born's give me great support.

Look good, but...
They look good, but too narrow in front (and I have pretty standard feet, size 7), and besides, they make this sucking noise with every step which I hate. They also feel very flat, with front going up, very strange. I ordered size 7, then tried size 8, but it was way too big, and I ended with Born Irena, brown metallic - very comfortable and just right for me.

I got them in brown, size 7. Seems like they run narrow - my feet are medium, and the sandals feel tight in front, which is not good. If they seem tight now, they will be truly uncomfortable in hot weather for sure. So, even though they look cool and well made, back they go! Too bad there is no half sizes – I’d try 7.5.

I liked my first pair so much (silver) that I bought a second pair (black patent.) They are very comfortable and stay securely on your foot.

These sandals are so comfortable! I purchased them for an upcoming vacation so when the shoes arrived, I was overjoyed to see how flexible and lightweight they were. Personally, I feel like they run a little big - my feet are between a 7 and 7 1/2 and they fit perfectly for me. If your feet run in between, I recommend purchasing a half size smaller, but it’s up to you of course! These sandals are really cute on! I bought the brown ones and a few days later it seemed that they were all sold out. I feel lucky I was able to get mine. I’ve never spent this much on sandals before... but I’d do it again for Born sandals!

I purchased a pair of these in the black full grain leather. They are really cute and extremely comfortable. None of the straps rub or irritate the skin. I highly recommend these sandals.
