Cute, but not for walking in all day. I bought these for a trip to Europe, and the soles were very comfortable, but I did get blisters from the straps (probably more my fault for buying the patent leather ones). Also, I've noticed that as I step I can hear a swish from the air be pushed out of the sole, which can be quite embarrassing if it's quiet. However, I still like them a lot for their general comfort and casual, but still nice, look.

I love Born, but I was disappointed in this shoe. The sole was too heavy and the plastic insole too slippery for those two measly straps to keep this shoe on my foot, even after I used the buckles to tighten the straps. I returned them and I'm going to try another style with a leather insole.

These seemed cute online but they seemed much cheaper quality than most Born sandals in person. Mostly, the fact that they have no heel support made them slap around loudly when you walked in them, like flip flops but worse since the sole is so much heavier. I sent them back.

What a cute shoe! I thought they looked nice on the website, but they look even better on my feet! I bought a black patent leather pair and they are very comfortable. They can be worn with summer dresses as well as jeans. I usually wear an 8½, but the 8 is perfect. I would definitely recommend buying the half size smaller rather than the half size larger. I can see how the shoe can be a little clumpy if too large. This is one of those shoes you will want to wear every day! Enjoy!

I have been happy with the Born Caroline sandals! I bought the green, and it seems to go with almost anything. The soles are very comfortable, the straps are not as comfortable, but do not keep me from wearing and enjoying the sandals. The look is very bare, and the shoes are great for skirts or capris. I usually wear a size 6 1/2 or 7 shoe, but I purchased a 6 in this sandal and it fits fine. Previously I have purchased Born sandals in the size 7, and I am usually unhappy with the fit as it seems to be a little sloppy feeling. I can recommend these sandals with no hesitation.\r\n

These shoes are great; very cute and extremely comfortable! They're great walking shoes. The only issue I have with them is that because they are quite cushy and (it seems) air-filled, they make a lot of noise when you walk, but this is not really a big drawback; just thought it was worth mentioning.

I'm still breaking these in, but the fit was true to size, and I've never had a problem with Born's sizing. I tend to run between 7 and 7.5, but the size 7 in their shoes always fit. These are more comfortable than I had expected, especially given that I got them in patent leather. Even though I'm still breaking them in, they've never given me blisters, just slightly red spots where they rub on the outside of my pinky toes. They are cute and fun, and as with all Borns, the bottom cushion is divine.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: Borns and Clarks tend to have similarly fun and flirty styles, while still being practical for work...

I love these shoes. They are so comfy but also very stylish. I bought them in orange and wear them with so many different colors. I always get a compliment when I wear them and they provide such a fun pop of color with whatever I am wearing.

I had purchased a pair of Born sandals in a store and thought they were the most comfortable things ever, so I wanted to try another stlye. I wear an 8.5 and ordered these in a 9. I wish they came in half sizes, because the 9 seemed a little big, but I am sure an 8 would be too small. The footbed is incredibly soft and comfortable. I did not have the problem with twisty heels like some other reviewers did. The strap across the toes rubbed one of my pinky toes a little bit, but I think I just have to break them in a little more. The strap is definitely wide enough.

These shoes are great - very comfortable! I love shopping at Zappos and have been doing so for a number of years. All the shoes I have purchased from Zappos are still in good shape. I especially love the free shipping to me as well as if I need to return shoes to Zappos. This is so helpful because my feet are not in the best of shape which makes getting shoes that fit comfortably is often difficult. Many times I order several pairs of shoes in order to determine which shoes will fit best.\r\n\r\nI couldn\'t be happier with Zappos!

I love the look of this sandal (my pair is hot pink!). They seem a little stiff to begin with; I am just now breaking them in and think they will soften up with time. I'm not used to wearing a flip flop style with the piece between the toes, so feel this is part of it. The look, though, is great.

These looked cute online, but turned out to be very uncomfortable. As another reviewer pointed out, something about the shape of the inner sole of the shoe makes your foot wobble around. The strap across the top is also very uncomfortable, even when adjusted. This is because the little buckle on top hits your toe in a bad spot. Cute, but I'm returning them.

I like this shoe...color is great (green). Runs true to size, but the strap across the top is a little snug. I\'m sure it will stretch a little. Otherwise very comfortable and very cute. Zappos is great. Delivery is amazingly fast.

I have Terrible heel spurs and have a very difficult time walking in anything too high but since that is what is supposed to help I tried to oblige by wearing a slight heel. I was hoping that the heel on these shoes, which are absolutely adoreable, was going to be a bit higher. Although really comfy and cushiony, lack the height I needed to alieviate the strain on my heel. My foot is also on the wider side and they fit quite comfortably. Overall I really like these. I just wished the heel wasa bit higher.

My feet were suffering from pain which I called "flip flop foot." I set out in search of a summer sandal that was as easy to wear as a flip flop but actually was comfortable and didn't cause my feet to hurt at the end of the day. I totally found it in this shoe. SUPER comfy and cute. I get lots of compliments. I got the pink which seems girly but it is a bright fun color for summer. I think of it as a summer neutral.

I love these shoes! They took a few days wearing to break in a bit but are very comfortable. I wear between an 8 and 8 1/2 and the 8 was perfect.

I love these sandals in white. They are super comfortable as you would expect from the Born brand. My only complaint would be they are probably not meant for walking in all day because there are no heel straps but for casual wear and light walking they are great!

Very comfortable once I got the right size. I normally wear 8 1/2 but most reviews on Born suggested that they run large, so thought I should order the 8. Way too small, so I got the 9 and they fit pretty well. A little bit of rubbing on the top part of the top strap, but I think that's part of breaking them in. Overall pretty happy with them.

I received these shoes yesterday. They are fantastic. I have never had such comfortable "dress shoes". I am traveling next week with one of my European bosses and wanted to find some dressy yet comfortable sandals since it's so warm out. These are perfect. I had foot surgery last year so my right food is admittedly still a bit fatter than it should be and my left foot is my "fat foot"...ladies should know what I mean. So, even for avg to slightly larger than average, I'd say these are a great fit and width. They're very stylish and I'd feel comfortable wearing them with pants or shorts. I understand what the one review says about the heel being "tipsy", but honestly, it has a heel. Heels can be tipsy. I think if you walk correctly and mind your walking so you don't slip, you should be fine.

This shoe is both cute and comfortable! I love the easy slip-on style. I got the orange color and love it. I do, however, agree with the reviewer who mentioned the heel being "tippy"... a couple times my heel slipped right off. Be careful! If you have weak ankles, I wouldn’t recommend.

These shoes are great. Super, super, super cute... and extremely comfy. I have cranky feet that don't like a lot of shoes and back problems. These are fabulous for both of those. I love them; I wear them every day, even if it's cold.

Great shoe -
Very comfortable shoe. I needed something a little dressier than a flip flop and this is just right. The only bad thing about the born sandals is the bottom is slippery. I have two pairs and both of them are slippery so I have to be careful when I walk. May be this will improve as the bottom gets scratched. Still like the shoe though.

Tippy heel -
These shoes are very pretty but the heel shape is dangerous. My heel was very unsteady and I kept sort of tipping over on the sides. Had to send them back. I was very disappointed as the shoe design (except for the heel) was nice.

 |  | Didn’t know where to send a note to the full staff so I’m putting it here. I haven’t shopped Zappos for a few years (how many Birkies can one gal wear at a time)! I’ve hunted and hunted for boots. Not much call for tall boots in the Phoenix area, but the styles changed this year so I wanted to get with it. I hate going to stores so I tried the internet, thought I found gold, but ended up returning because they were too loose or too tall or too short. The light bulb went off and I came back to Zappos and they had calf and height measurements listed - what a brilliant idea!!! I found black suede and grey leather and I had them at my front door a day later! How much better could it get: both pairs fit!!! Please post this for all employees so they can know their efforts are very much appreciated... you all could teach the rest of the corporate world how it should be done.
