Sandals are my very favorite foot attire. And I hate it when winter comes and I have to put them away. I just purchased my third pair of this Born sandal (of course I have several other styles of Born). They are my "go to" shoes. I wear one of the pairs every day. If they ever stop making this style, I will have to go barefoot.

Excellent shoe - Very comfortable with no break in time. Have ordered in three colors. Can dress up or wear casual. True to size and looks very good on. Excellent service from Zappos. Quick delivery. Can't go wrong shopping at Zappos.

I love these shoes! Every time I went to buy them at a retail store, they never had the blue ones in my size. Why didn't I come to Zappos first? It doesn't matter, because that's where I got them, and on sale no less! The quality of this Born shoe is top notch, as usual. Would recommend them to anyone. The only down side is the stitching right where your arch is, makes it a bit uncomfortable after walking for some time. But other than that, they're great!

\r\nI ordered the Fire shoes in size 7. This shoe runs big compared to other Borns shoes I own. The leather is stiff and the shoes hurt the top of my feet when I walk. If the top was not so wide it would probably be pretty comfortable.

I really liked the look of this shoe, but the stitching on the footbed and where the elastic is sewn on the side rubbed against my foot and was uncomfortable. Maybe I have soft feet, but I didn't like how it felt. If the stitching is addressed, it seemed like a comfortable sandal and it is very cute.

I received these sandals 1 hour ago & they are wonderful! I had foot surgery a while back & a lot of shoes & sandals hurt my feet. Born are wonderful; this is my 3rd pair of Borns & they are a pleasure. True to size.

Comfortable from the start! The only complaint is that I wish the "suede" insert under the foot extended all the way back to the heel. Your heel will stick to the leather and make a suction sound at times when you walk. Probably would not be a problem with stockings on but wanted them for the bare summer foot!! But-still a great overall shoe!

I have very narrow feet and also have bunions. Not a good mix. I have had 3 pair of these sandals for about 5 years now--I think I bought them when they first came out. I have black, brown, and red. These are the ONLY sandals I can wear that not only do not hurt my feet but they feel GREAT. I am so glad to see they are still making these because when these wear out---I'll be buying more. They are not narrow but they are not too wide which is highly unusual for me to find a shoe that fits at all, much less one not designated as 'narrow'. Love these sandals!

I love these shoes. I have them in brown and navy and wish I had them in every color. They are very true to size and very comfortable to wear. Maybe a little pricey but if they last as long as the rest of my Born shoes they will definitely be worth it. I would highly recommend them!

Absolutely love these sandals! I love BORN shoes and the quality is great.They fit and feel perfect. I ordered an 8W but they were too big. So I ordered a 7W and they’re perfect!

Finally found a simple brown sandal that I can wear while on my feet at work and out and about whenever. Like most Borns the sole is a bit stiff, but comfortable enough - they will certainly wear well. The overall look is very nice and the craftsmanship is very good. I need WW and this shoe had plenty of room without falling off my feet. I wish the sole was not sewn with the insert, because that creates seams which can be felt. They have not been uncomfortable, but kind of annoying. This shoe is definitely worth a try!

I read the reviews and ordered a pair. They are just as luxurious as everyone says. Comfortable, stylish, and "typically Born" as far as quality and value. And Zappos - this was my first time to order and I'll be coming back again and again. They make shoe shopping easy as pie!

Born shoes are my favorite brand and this slide sandal is exactly what I was looking for. The workmanship is worth the price and comfort is guaranteed. I am a new customer of Zappos and so impressed with customer service. I will definitely be checking out Zappos shoes on a regular basis.

I wanted a) something style - neutral to wear to a professional, but casual office and b) a sandal to fit my wide feet and toe box. These slides are great. I ordered an 11M and a 10W, but was amazed that the 10M fit perfectly on my 10.5D+ feet. The shoes stay on, are comfortable, and required no break in. They do, on the other hand, make that flip-flop sound and a bit of the typical Born sole "pfft" as I walk.

Great shoe!
I wear a 10W shoe and anyone that wears this size knows it is hard to find a shoe that fits, that is comfortable and looks good. These where made for me. They run true to size, the width was perfect and extremely comfortable. I bought them in both colors. Wish they came in more colors and styles. Let’s not forget Zappos great shopping experience.

These sandals run really BIG. I got a wide which was huge. I then got a medium which were still too big. They run long too. They now also have this funky, shiny plastic bottom instead of the nice rubber one that this sandal used to have. Do not like this "new version" at all.

These shoes are so comfortable that it is crazy! I could wear these everyday if I didn't love high heels so much. The perfect shoe for shopping or walking long distances! I got these shoes delivered so fast it was as if I purchased them myself in the store. Zappos provides the BEST customer service ever!

These are good classic sandals that work well with casual skirts and shorts. I found that they were slightly wider than I had anticipated. I ordered a size 8. My right foot is a 7 1/2 and my left foot is a full 8. The right foot is a little loose, but I kept them anyway because they are "neat" looking (as in basic or refined)
I haven't worn them outside yet but I'm sure they will work with what I purchased them for.

I had ordered these before when they only came in B width. They were much to narrow and even having them stretched didn't help. I really liked them except the width. The new Val's I ordered in the wide width are great. Fit perfect and are so comfortable. I ordered all three colors. I wear them every day to work. Well worth every cent.

Love these shoes!
Several years ago I had a pair of black sandals that looked like these, but they weren't made by Born. These are considerably more comfortable than the previous shoes. These do run a bit large. I normally wear an 8 1/2B or an 8 wide. I tend to get the longer size for the additional width. In this case I ordered the 8 wide and ended up returning them for the 7 wide. I'm much happier with the smaller size. Cute, trendy, easy, versatile. HAPPY!!
