Got these in brown. They\'re very attractive and fit beautifully on my slightly narrow feet. Very comfortable, though the first time I wore them I got one blister on the side; takes a little breaking in. These are every light and cute, give me a little height but still comfy to walk on NYC streets. Love Zappos!

Nice comfortable everyday sandal. Needed a couple days wear to break them in (funny enough, just the right one, not the left). Arch support is not the greatest, but it is not non-existent. The heel feels actually lower than it looks. The shoes look a little clunkier than in the picture, and the brown color is darker than the picture. No red shades, more like chocolate. I have narrow feet, but the sandals don’t feel too wide. I made a mistake of fastening the buckles too tight, it’s when my feet started sliding forward. Once I released the buckle a little bit, it’s like wearing slippers. Very comfy. As usual, Born’s leather lining keeps the feet dry and fresh in hot weather.

I'm a Born fan. These shoes are adorable on the foot. I had a hard time at first but then they conformed to my foot. They do squeeze yoru toes. I do think that it's time Born took a new look at some wider widths for us real people.

Toes! I made the mistake of wearing these to work, brand new, without back up and they hurt my next to the little toe so bad. Walk around a lot in them first!

I really love these shoes. They are a good style fit for me as I have a narrow heel and a wide foot. They are dressy casual and look good with dresses or pants. A little too clunky for really dressy outfits, but great for the dressy casual office. You "feel" the leather straps over the toes a bit at first, but I got no blisters and wore them three days in a row right out of the box. I ultimately ordered them in brown too as I could find no other styles in brown that fit so well. They remind me of the "Bare Traps" of my high school days in the 70s, which I also loved.

These shoes are very comfy!! They look great with a denimn skirt or bermuda shorts. They are true to size and width. They also look good with the bohemian style that is so big right now. Enjoy!!!

Loved this sandal as soon as I saw it and immediately bought it in brown. They felt fine walking around on carpet and the sizing was perfect, so I wore them to work. That was my first and only day in them, and it was horrible. My feet kept sliding forward after having them on just a little while and my toes were rubbed raw...I doubt I'll ever try Born again.

These are very cute shoes but they run large. I wear a 10 in Born most of the time but these were too big. They don't come in half sizes and I don't know if a 9 will fit or not.

Compliments every time -
Every time I wear these shoes I get at least one compliment if not more. I usually wear an 8 1/2 but ordered these in 8 and they fit perfectly except for a slight "pinch" on my right little toe after a long day but a 9 would have been way too big. I ordered them in brown and just love the way they feel and look.

My 23rd pair of Borns -
This is my 23rd pair of Born shoes since December of 2007. Being a college professor and on my feet a lot during the working day, I decided to get rid of my cheap and uncomfortable shoes and go with a brand highly recommended by a friend. I have the Enga in black and brown and they fit and feel like every other pair of Borns I have--fantastic!

Very cute, but not comfy...no arch support.
These shoes are cute and sexy if you can wear them--I have flat feet and couldn't stand the empty spot where there should have been an arch (even a little--any arch will do!) But if you have strong feet, they might be ok--they are very softly padded.

I really wanted to love these shoes. They are great-looking and I received compliments, but the toe area was too tight, which resulted in a painful blister and callous. I will have to return these babies.

Enga shoe has a retro 1930s look, but classic so *always* in style. The footbed, especially the ball area, is deeply padded and the heel is sturdy & stable without appearing "clunky". My only complaint about comfort is the straps chafe a bit, but that is normal with any shoe of this type. I have worn them to work and short errands. They are OK to walk 1/4 mile or so. I bought them to go with a vintage 1930s-40s style dress...the classic design is versatile for work or social. There are other, cuter, shoes I would buy if I had normal feet, but I have foot injuries. Compared to other *comfort* shoes these are cute & sexy and do not look frumpy.

Fibromyalgia friendly!
The muscle pain that accompanies fibromyalgia makes it difficult to find a well-made, attractive shoe that is also comfortable. These sandals are perfect! They don't require a "break-in period." I bought them in black and brown and love them.

Cute sandal. Very comfy, as is every Born shoe, boot, and sandal I've tried. But although I usually wear a straight-up size 9 with Born, these sandals felt much too big. My heel slapped around instead of being held snugly by the back strap, and I worried that even the slightest stretching out of the leather would make them unwearable. Too bad. The color was great.

Haven't worn it out yet, but feels great. I have a narrow, thin foot and probably shouldn't buy sandals on line, but I got an 8, which is my regular size. A 7 1/2 might fit better, but I'm keeping the 8. So if you have a "normal" foot, it's true to size. Padding is really cushy--more than my last pair of Borns, which I adore, and I have generally weak and painful feet. (I'm 58, but they've been this way always.) I won't really be sure about the arch support till I wear them around awhile.

The size 8 fit larger than a regular size 8. It would be nice if they were available in 1/2 sizes as well.

The Perfect Sandal -
I ordered these in brown and then I was so impressed by the comfort and workmanship, I ordered them in black too. They are so cute and so comfortable. The sole is padded; the straps are in just the right spots to let your little toe be happy too! Sturdy but very feminine and a little sexy. I really depend on these reviews when I'm buying a shoe, even though frequently I'm too lazy to write one. But this is a great shoe. If you like the picture, you will love everything about it. It is just as pictured, only better.
Great shoe with jeans or sort of casual dresses. I would probably wear them with everything except a sequined night club dress...if I had one.
Highly recommend and of course Zappos is amazing as usual--leaving it on my doorstep the following day!!

I love this shoe. It is a great dressy or casual look and as usual, Born does it again. They are a little tight across the top, but the leather will stretch with wear and will be stylish for many years!

Pinches My Little Toe -
I found this shoe to be good looking. I tried them on immediately, but was a disappointed because the little strap near the toe pinches. It pinched my little toe. The padding is great on the ball of the feet. The heel height is okay, too. True to size. That little twist thing near the toe pinches. I'm keeping them hoping with time they will stretch.

Great Straight out of the Box!
These arrived overnight, which was wonderful. I love shoes, and Born is my favorite brand. Nothing compares to the quality for the price...they are simply the best. This pair is no exception. The leather is buttery. The construction is masterful. The comfort is unbelievable. The steel shank makes provides support that is not available in lesser brands, and provides all-day comfort. There are no pressure points, no chafing. This is a wonderful sandal, and I highly recommend it.
