Poor fit, feels cheap -
I've had good success with Eastland in the past so this pair was a big disappointment. I ordered an 8 wide. Right boot feels like an 8 1/2 medium. Left boot feels like an 8 1/2 wide. Both heels slip while right toes are pinched.

Comfortable, classy looking boot. It fits as sized. Can work for either casual or dressy wear. It's sturdy without being heavy.

Received these boots today but they're going back. Well made, nice looking, true to size but just not exactly what I'm looking for. Could use arch supports and the toe is a bit rounded looking, otherwise they were nice. Not super comfy in my mind.

I bought these and the same pair in brown to wear to work. I wanted something that would look nice, be comfortable when I have to do a lot of walking, be able to be polished, and which would accomodate orthotic insoles becaue I have the beginnings of arthritis in my left foot. I am very pleased with this shoe and they were comfortable from the get go. I also love Zappos because they save me lots of time!

The 8 1/2 D is comfortable and supportive enough to wear for a day of occasional walking. The ankle is accommodating and the boot is fairly easily put on.\\r\\nSlightly on the roomy side.

I work in the office for a sheriff's dept. & these look great with my uniform, I bought the black & brown. I love the quality & comfort of Eastland shoes & have quite a few pair that have never worn out, I highly recommend them.

This boot is good looking except for the elastic goring on the sides could be smaller and not come down so far on the boot. They are really comfortable and light weight. No breaking in required for me. The sole is quiet and non slip. I got them mostly for riding my scooter, but they are nice enough to wear to work. As always Zappos customer service it superb.

Great Ankle Boot -
This is a well-made, good-looking ankle boot. I find it true to size and width, and comfortable to wear even from the first time I wore them. If you're looking for a simpler, more casual ankle boot that looks great with jeans (or maybe a long skirt, I haven't tried that yet) this boot is for you!

Comfort...finally -
After trying many other boots, some of them more than twice the price, this Eastland boot is it. Easy to put on, light weight, and very comfy. Plenty of room for your toes to spread, and I love the look.

Nice, comfy boots -
OK, so my husband says they look like rain boots - I don't agree. They look great with jeans and are fantastic for a day of running errands. They are just a teeny bit wide but that's easily remedied by wearing a thicker sock. Overall, pleased with my purchase.

Very nice boot. Very comfortable. I bought a 7.5 Wide Black - I have wide feet so I put the old shoe stretcher in them for a couple of days and they fit perfectly. The length of the shoe was fine and it was roomy in the toe area. I will need an arch insert for my left foot though. I have problems with my feet and was very surprised and happy with the fit and look of these boots. I wish Eastland would make them in Nubuck or suede too with different colors. The black is a little bit shiny but with wear I'm sure they'll look even better. They were pretty easy to get on too because of the generous stretchy inserts on the sides. Well-made/quality construction. I might try the brown leather too. Good Price also.

Comfy, Basic Boots -
These boots are very comfortable and will become my new "walking boots." The soles are thick. I had concerns that with 2 elastic gores, these boots wouldn't be very warm. They are warm in 22 degree weather. They accommodate orthotics well. Ordered my normal size and they fit well.

Very comfortable, true to size, and a great looking boot that will look even better with wear! The arch support is great and there is no "breaking in" time with these. I recommend them if you are considering them.

Comfortable for everyday wear. I replaced the original liner with my own arch support liner. Brown looks best.
