I have been ordering shoes online for a long time. Zappos is the only company online that will send your merchandise quick, meaning quick, and they always have the shoes that I need. I will advise anyone who orders online to use Zappos. Thank you!

Ugly but fits -
The extra wide width fits my 5 year old and the narrow width is not quite narrow enough for my 6 year old. I continually purchase this shoe out of desperation to find a good shoe for my kids, but it is painfully ugly. It really looks like an orthopedic shoe for old people. Why can't we get a great shoe that looks cute and is age appropriate for our hard to fit children? Anyway, the quality had been great for us and the fit is the best so far.

My girls have worn these shoes since they started school. I really panicked this year when I thought that my oldest wouldn't be able to find her size anymore. But Zappos came through. These shoes are light and supportive and they wear well for a whole year with a bit of shoe polish. We love them; they are worth every penny!

I was unhappy with the leather quality of this shoe. The shoe itself seemed a little flimsy for a Stride Rite and the leather needed constant upkeep and conditioning. Disappointing for a Stride Rite.

I love these shoes! I bought my daughter these shoes for school and she wore them EVERYDAY (she wears a uniform). Seriously she wore them EVERYDAY. I know they are a little expensive, but they are well worth the $$. It is worth buying a good quality shoe that will last the entire season or longer (my daughter wore the same pair for 6 months and could have worn them longer, but she grew out of them). My daughter loves these shoes. They are easy to put on and they give GREAT support. She walked to and from school dozens of times this year and never complained that her feet hurt her. You will not be disappointed. I do have to add one minor flaw - the toe got a little worn from wearing them so much. I will buy these shoes again for her in the fall.

These are great shoes! I love them because of the StrideRite quality and style. I also love that they come in a narrow selection to fit my daughter's slim foot. They are true to their size and color.

Padding on heel was too thick -
Nice, well made shoe, but I can't get my daughter to wear these because the heel has too much padding and hurts her ankle.

This is an excellent shoe for the price. The leather feels very soft and it looks like there is a lot of support. I bought too large of a size for my daughter, but I may keep it anyway. (Because of Zappos generous return policy!) She will probably be in this size in 6 months! It is larger than a European sized shoe. Probably sized appropriately if you always buy Stride Rite, though.

Flexible sole and easy to wear -
My overly picky daughter approves of these shoes which slide on easily and don't have a hard sole This brown is a very dark shade of brown, but it does go with many outfits.

Simple but great -
These Mary Janes aren't trendy, but they are classic and well made. They come in a narrow which is key to fitting my daughter's skinny feet.

Finally a shoe that fits!
My 5 year old daughter has an awful time finding a shoe to fit her extra extra wide feet. After trying 3 other shoes from different sites, I stumbled on to this shoe. We did go up 1/2 size to be safe, but ultimately they fit her perfectly. She was so excited to have a shoe "like other girls". She wears them all of the time and loves the flower and "diamond" on the sole.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: New Balence Tennis shoes for the extra wide foot.

My daughter has a high instep with a fallen arch. This is one of the few shoes she is comfortable in. She wears them all the time and if she didn't grow out of them, she would have easily gotten another season out of them.

I purchased this shoe for my daughter. She has absolutely no complaints. I ordered the shoe in a wide width for added space and comfort. The shoes have rubber soles, which are excellent for kids. Great color! The Velcro straps encourage young children to be independent. I highly recommend this shoe.

My daughter has a narrow foot and her heel slips out of most shoes easily. We have had these shoes in a slightly different style twice before and they always do the trick. She loves them and though I would have preferred something a little cuter since she is just six, she's happy and can wear them without a problem. I am definitely happy about that since children's shoes in narrow are hard to come by!

This is a normal styled shoe - nothing too trendy, but nice for my 8-year-old's school uniform code. She has a wide foot & that's how we found this shoe. It has been very comfortable for her & holds up well.

Flower power -
Our six year old loves these. She's on her third pair-she wants the same style and color every time she outgrows a pair! She tells all the other first graders that she runs fast because of the flower power on the bottom of her shoes! They really hold up to hard use and still look nice when cleaned.

When my pair of boots arrived in less than perfect condition, I had hoped to exchange them for a new pair. Unfortunately, you were out of stock. A wonderful representative offered tips on how to clean up the boots, offered to search other stores to see if they had the boots in stock, and even asked if I would like a refund before returning the boots! I decided to keep the boots for a few more days, as I was not interested in purchasing from another retailer. Luckily, Zappos received more boots in stock within the week.
