Very comfortable walking shoe and great for traveling. Brought these with me on a recent 7 day trip to San Francisco and I felt like I was wearing slippers all day. However, I will not wear these barefoot anymore as they get really smelly after wearing for an hour or two. The only way to get rid of the smell is to wash the insoles, but the smell comes back. I haven't had this problem with any other shoe I've owned, just these. These shoes didn't get smelly when I wore them with socks. Marked 4 stars due to the stinky smell factor.

I needed new walking shoes, fell in love with these, and had to buy them. Unfortunately it took 2 months of discomfort before they broke in (something weird about the cut of the shoe above my big toe - it really dug in, even though the rest of the shoe was a perfect fit). Finally, I can wear them 3x a week and no more pain.

1/2 size too short -
I'm a Privo fan from way back - this is my 12th pair of Privos. I walk 2 miles round trip each day to work, then about 22 miles on the beach each weekend, so comfort and reliability are a priority. I love the Jetty arch and support. I found, though, it's about a 1/2 size too short. I am a true 6.5 fit, so I bought my regular size. A little short, but I kept them because I find Privos (when wet - rain or ocean) will stretch a bit in length & width. If you like this style, I recommend buying a 1/2 size up. I saw others recommend buying a 1/2 size smaller, but they wear larger sizes - maybe Clarks added more length to those sizes. Overall, I totally recommend this shoe if you have a high arch and walk a lot. They're worth the investment.

The most uncomfortable comfort shoes ever made -
I purchased these at a local shoe shop last year, and they were awesome looking and comfortable in the store. They looked and felt so good walking in the store that I decided to wear them out to meet my husband. I walked around the small downtown with socks on for a few hours covering maybe a mile or so of ground. By the end of the night I was almost in tears thanks to the blisters forming on my heels and the top of my pinky toes. In the course of my downtown walk I stepped in some gum so there was no way for me to return these shoes. I tried breaking them in wearing them around the house, and they are fine. However, one a recent road trip I had to take them off after a few hours in the driver's seat because my heel had been rubbed raw. I have found that about a half mile is all my feet can handle in these shoes, and if there is any chance of more walking that that I always pack four band aids. I

Multi-purpose shoe.
I bought these shoes for just regular everyday wear, and I took them on vacation with me. Unexpectedly we were invited to walk a bluff trail in Mendocino, CA. It was a good thing that I was wearing my Jetty's as the sole is stiff enough to act as a decent hiking/trail shoe, not too flimsy for the unevenness of the trail. My only complaint is that the elastic across the top of the foot is too tight. It's ok for short periods of time, but if you're prone to having your feet swell by the end of the day these can really make you miserable. I wouldn't wear them on a long plane flight. I bought the tan/fucshia/black ones and I get a lot of compliments on them.

Doesn’t fit after all. 10 was too big in length and width, 9 1/2 length was fine, but was too narrow. I'm returning the shoe, and will look for something else.

I exchanged my size 10 for a 9 1/2. 10 is my normal size but they were too big. I'm still deciding if the 9 1/2 works...feels a little narrow, especially on the right foot. But overall Zappos customer service is beyond compare! My new order was shipped without my sending back the original order, and no further billing to my credit card! Love Zappos...still evaluating the shoe.

Great shoe!
Shoe was actually cuter than the picture, I'd been debating on the color, but glad I went with the Chestnut. Quite comfy, but too big. I'm sending them back, but will order a half size smaller. Zappos customer service continues to excel...I placed the order yesterday afternoon, and received them today...free upgraded next day shipping! Can’t beat that!

Privo Perfect?
I am having to exchange this shoe which I think would be otherwise perfect, except it's very uncomfortable on my right foot. The top straps are very snug and the shoe rubs against the top of my big toe. If they offered a Wide that would probably correct my issue but they don't so, hopefully, moving up a size will alleviate this problem and I can enjoy what I think has the potential to be a winner.

the shoe looks great & is comfortable. I gave it 4 stars for comfort because the straps across the top are just a bit snug otherwise I love them. I already own a few other Privos--you can't go wrong with them for looks & comfort! The service at Zappos is great! even though I ordered my shoes standard shipping, I received them in 2 days.

Too tight!
I have bought a lot of Privo shoes and love them. But this is the first pair that doesn't fit right. They are sewn too tight across the top! I have tiny feet so there is no reason for this discomfort. I spent too much money on them and keep trying to break them in before they break me!

It is a slight bit high on the back ankle bone. After long periods of wear it seems to rub and cause slight discomfort.

Really attractive and comfortable although some slipping in the heel, which is why I said it felt a half size larger than marked. I never wear them without getting a compliment, and they match so much in my closet.

Ouch! I'm a real Clarks/Privo fan, but these HURT! The large eyelets on the sides where the elastic threads through really rubs. I couldn't walk around inside for more than 10 minutes. Adorable design, but definite flaw in the structuring. Still love Clarks, but these go back!

I really needed a good pair of shoes that could take me on a 2 week vacation through Ireland with lots of walking. I have been having trouble with foot pain a lot lately. I bought these last week and have hardly taken them off! They are the most comfortable shoe that I've ever worn. I am so grateful that I found them before my trip. Now my aching feet worries are no more! I can't recommend them highly enough!

Snug shoe but breaks in beautifully -
This shoe is adorable. I got the black/chocolate combination one. I wear it with black pants, a pencil skirt, and jeans! Very cute. The inside of the shoe has a bumpy texture that takes some getting used to. I think it's supposed to feel "spa" like. The straps and top of shoe at the sides was snug when I first wore them but broke in beautifully...

Cute and comfortable - I was looking for a nice pair of shoes that were both easy on the eyes and feet. Not only are they versatile, extremely comfortable and well made but they offer your foot the freedom of a flip flop or sandal but provide the support of a walking shoe. I would highly recommend them!

I really tried to keep them!!
They were so so cute, but terribly uncomfortable. I walked around the house for 30 mins trying to convince myself that they would work. The material was lightweight and had almost no support, didn’t work without socks, but didn’t really work with socks either. There was rough stitching on the inside which made them just unbearable.
Very cute shoe... but I don’t think that the people who make these shoes actually try them on... they should.
Also, I've seen reviews from people with unusual feet (bunions, corns etc)... I have normal feet. :-)
