Absolutely wonderful shoes, I work on concrete floors and have arthritis. They feel better than anything I have tried in the past. It was great to save so much over the shoe store prices, too.

I got these because I felt like they might help me walk better when I do one of my two walks per week. Yes and no. They are great for walking on hard surfaces, as their website advertises, but not quite so much if that hard surface is not perfectly level. As I walked my usual tracks, which aren't level, I always had the feeling that my feet were sliding more to one side or the other, since these shoes are meant to be naturally unbalanced. To be fair, I have not yet watched the DVD that came with them, nor the various 'training' simulations available on their web site. I can tell you, however, that these shoes definitely take some getting used to. Your feet (and possibly legs) will also hurt after the first day or two of wearing them. What keeps me going, however, is the promise that they are doing wonders for my back and posture, as well as helping me to use muscles that I had been neglecting with normal shoes. I'll continue to use these shoes, but probably not every day. I might even get another pair down the road, when I have more money to spend on them. I am still holding out the hope that they are doing my body good, despite the fact that they feel a little awkward on non-level surfaces.

I love these shoes! I spend all day on my feet on concrete floors and normally at the end of the day my feet are sore. Not in these babies. Okay, they are a little weird looking, but so are bunion pads!

I\'ve been wearing MBT\'s for the past 2 years and love them. I bought this pair because I needed MBT\'s for the gym that had a lower heel. These shoes are much easier to move around quickly during kickboxing and walking on the treadmill and they still have the same MBT rocker sole so my feet don\'t hurt me. I\'m thinking about getting a 2nd pair for Jazzercise on the weekends. I bought these shoes a size larger than normal and they fit well.

A well made shoe. Benefit comes from making you use all the muscles in your feet and calves. Takes awhile to become accustomed to shoes without developing fatigue. Excellent on level ground but not on rough terrain. Size seems to be accurate.

I saw a TV program about Zappos on public television. I could see that it is employee-run and quite a laid back situation, yet very productive. Seems like the ideal company to work for - so it must be a good company to do business with also. Sometime later, I called Zappos in a rush to get a hard-to-find pair of shoes. They sent the shoes to me by the next morning and no shipping charge. Yeah, the MBT shoes are great, but to wear them, you have to meet the challenge of wearing them. I can’t rate comfort because the comfort factor with MBT’s is yes and no. You wear them to build muscle and change structure for the better. They work. And that process helps relieve back pain. So the shoe is really a treatment.

This shoe is not for everyone. I wanted to try it for three reasons: 1) a friend bought a different MBT shoe and it did wonders for his legs and back; 2) I have perpetually sore, flat feet and have tried all kinds of insoles; and 3) I have very bad knees. So, I had hoped that this shoe would perform a little magic. Ummm, no. My feet still hurt and my knees are worse than ever. I don't think it's the shoe's fault, however, but I cannot say for sure. This shoe does make you walk differently... you don't so much as you lift your feet as kind of shuffle forward. Aside from being unable to perform magic, this shoe is OK. Warning: it is a heavy shoe, easily 3X the weight of normal sneakers. Its weight actually caused me to drive a little erratically as my foot presses harder on both the go-pedal and the whoa-pedal. It took a little practice to get the modulation just right. It's an OK-looking shoe, cleanly styled, if a little on the bland side. MBT calls it "black", but it is actually a dark bluish-gray. It could use a little more tongue, if you get my drift. MBT's sizing is optimistic. I bought a size 11, but to me it feels like an 11.5.

Love the product. I have bad ankles and they relieve most of my pain. I have 2 pair of MBTs and they both run a little bigger than I thought. I normally wear a 10.5 and in the future will order a size 10 in the MBTs. worth the money for me.

I have 4 other MBT styles but when I found the Safiri (navy) in my size it added to my shoe choices with a true "athletic" look. I need MBT to cope with arthritic toe joints. This model, with its traditional laces is easier to tighten. The sole pattern is a bit different from the Chapa and to me, is even a bit more comfortable to walk in. The absence of loops on the heel and tongue is my preference also.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: Earth (but not all styles fit with equal comfort).

These are fabulous shoes. What I love is to wear them on a power walk for 1 1/2 hours and when I'm finished have my feet feel so good that I could almost turn around and do it again. Not bad for being 66 years old. As a result I am having the best success in losing weight that I have had in several years. I love these shoes and recommend them to anyone.

These shoes are the most comfortable ones I've ever worn. They help a lot because I'm on my feet most of the time at work and I no longer feel any pain in my knees and lower back. I love this particular style because the sole is not as thick as the other ones and it looks a lot like my former favorite shoe (New Balance 2001). There is no way I'm going back to regular shoes. They may seem pricey but they are well worth it! Try on a pair, you'll see.

GREAT shoe!
I bought these for my husband who never likes to pay over $80 for shoes, but also suffers from heel spurs (bad knees, chronic back pain, etc.). I ordered them, didn't tell him the price and after about a month, much less knee and back pain AND no more heel spur pain. I think this is partially because we caught the heel pain early and 100% due to these shoes. Now that he knows the price, he states that they are worth every penny and refers them to people who are in similar pain.

Female bought these and swears by em, despite dorky look -
These are WONDERFUL... and although they are much cooler looking than most other MBT models, they look like snowboard boots a little. They are a little darker in color than the picture shows, but I SWEAR by these wonderful shoes. HIGHLY recommend them.

I recently developed plantar fasciitis in both feet and actually tore the tendon in my right foot. While still hobbling around on crutches I tried on this pair of shoes and was amazed at how they diminished the pain. I subsequently purchased this style as well as a pair of Tembeas and am very pleased with both. By the way Zappos customer service is the BEST!
