I have a lot of trouble with my feet, and needed a comfortable walking shoe. This one is very good. The only negative thing I can say about it is that it's a little stiff, yet, but it still feels very good on my feet when walking.

Too loose in the toe area...not in width or length...
This shoe was very comfortable as far as my heels go and most of my foot...BUT, I got a blister on the bottom of my second toe from my little one...I think the shoe is too loose from top to bottom...The width seemed fine...I was really disappointed about this...I bought the best shoe that I thought would serve my purpose...We did a lot of walking on our New Zealand, Australia vacation...The first time out I got this blister...I've never had any problems with blisters on the bottom of my toes before...My concern was heel pain...I had NO heel pain...Needless to say the whole vacation I had problems with my toe... Not too good for walking after I got this blister...I put 2 bandaids around my toe and that helped lots...I think the shoe was too loose for my foot...the length was great and the width was fine but the looseness around my toes was the problem I believe... I've never had this problem before!!

When I put on these shoes, my feet were relieved. Unfortunately, the relief seemed to end when I decided to keep them and wore them for a whole day at work. I wear prescription orthotics (half-foot style) and they fit perfectly. They do have great lateral stability and the base is stiff, but don't buy these for running, they are WALKING shoes. I am presently suffering from a mild case of plantar fasciitis, so they have the right characteristics. BUT for long-time wearing, they just don't feel good. They fit well, but there something amiss. The price did not phase me, but now I feel I made a poor choice. I am not sure how I could have vetted them any more carefully. So, I like them for quick workouts in the gym, but will not wear them walking for longer periods.
