Great value -
Fits and feels exactly the same as the more costly 1130/1140 series! Asics is smart enough to offer this one in width too, so take that New Balance! Better than any running shoe new balance can offer at this price point imho. Only negative is the expected cheapo insoles they sell these with...but as soon as I switched those out for something with a little more support and cushion....damn good shoes. Lightweight, good arch support for flat feet, thick cushioned tongue, and good cushion for my 160 lb. frame.

Good for big men -
I'm a very new runner, so I don't have a very good frame of reference with other shoes. But I'm really happy with these. I'm 6'2", 210 lbs, with 13 4E feet. These shoes feel great. Good cushioning, good fit, very true to size. Too many companies don't make shoes to fit wide feet like mine, so finding some is a treat. When they wear out I'll probably buy another pair to replace them.

taken the necessary steps to make it happen.
