Bought these for my son who walks almost all day at his job and he loves them! This is his second pair of Rockports and he loves the comfort and the fact they are waterproof. Great for winter as well but I am in FL. LOL

These shoes are the best. I tried several other styles, but I knew these were keepers as soon as I put them on. They are comfortable with very good arch support. I walked downtown for hours. It is difficult for me to find comfortable walking shoes in a 5.5 but as always Zappos comes through.

Did you know Reebok makes these shoes just for me? It's too bad they are so hard to find! I love the air cushion and the way they fit my feet. They also have the extra lacing at the top to keep them from slipping at the heel, which I need. I wear them to work because I'm on my feet all day and I also WALK in them for a workout. I'm so glad I found them again on Zappos!

This shoe was exactly as described and fit is great. I have plantar fasciitis in my heel and was looking for a good supportive shoe and this is it - walked around a theme park all day and no problems with my heel. If it came in different colors I would buy more!

Great walking shoe -
I have worn this type of shoe for years, and the DMX ultimate walking shoe is the shoe I choose because it has more cushioning in the sole and I have foot problems as a result of Scleraderma. It is the only athletic shoe I will wear.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: I also like Clark shoes.

I just wanted to send a quick thank you to all of you for being such a wonderful company. I have ordered from you several times in the past and have always enjoyed your wide selection, fast shipping, and easy return policy. However, while these are great attributes of a company, they don't usually inspire me to write feedback emails raving about the company. About a week ago, I wanted to order a pair of shoes I'd had my eye on for quite some time. I shopped around but, as usual, Zappos.com had the best price (and free shipping!). However, when I tried to order, neither you nor any other website I visited had the shoes in my size. I called your customer service number to find out if they had been discontinued. In my experience, these sort of help lines rarely produce any sort of useful information, so I don't usually expect a whole lot from them. I called at around 5:30am Eastern Time, and was thrilled someone actually answered the phone that early in the morning! That would have been enough to make me a happy customer, however in true Zappos.com form, my experience exceeded expectations. Not only was the representative friendly and helpful, he took time to check your inventory and find out if the shoes had been discontinued. Then, he checked out other websites to find out if they had the shoes in my size! After several minutes of searching, he was able to find one website with one remaining pair in my size. However, at that point I was so impressed with Zappos.com that there was no chance of me ordering those shoes from any other website! So thank you to Zappos.com and that customer service representative, whoever he is, for such stellar customer service! Keep up the great work!
