I felt the difference within 5 minutes of wearing these insoles. Within half an hour my chronic hip pain was gone. The cons: these do take up a lot of room, and you have to trim a lot to fit in low profile shoes. The arch support is not as good as other insoles. They feel a little hard at first, but the relief from the hip pain is worth it. I had been told before that my right hip was "off" just a bit, and that may be why these are miracle insoles for me. More: I have a medium high arch, fairly high instep, medium width feet, and a narrow heel, in case this info helps you decide if these are for you.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: Merrel shoes have the q-factor built in.

If I put them on the floor and stand on them they are fine. If I put them in my boot or shoe there is no room for my foot - They are too thick.

I have very flat feet and have had 3 foot surgeries in past 2 years. These are great, even better than the originals...actually even better than the custom orthotics I got from the podiatrist! I will definitely wear these out and order again!
