Super comfortable, like a sneaker. Great for dog walks, cold weather. These boots run small. Buy at least a half size larger than usual.

I bought these boots to wear almost daily during winter, in place of my Danskos. They are comfortable and stylish enough. They are a little bigger around the top of my foot than I would like and I also thought the color is more black than "stout brown". However, they are sturdy, comfortable, and I expect to wear them for a long time.

These boots were comfortable from the moment I put them on. I was able to walk around the city without getting any first-time-wearing blisters. I did put thin shoe inserts for an added layer of comfort and support, but it's not a necessary addition. I would say they run true to size. I originally ordered size 9 US at the suggestion of an earlier review, but they were too large. I highly recommend these as an everyday, fall through winter shoe.

Great work boots. I got them a little bit big and put arch supports in them since they really don't provide much themselves. Man, are they comfortable now. And I feel like my feet are so safe in them! Go ahead! Drop a hammer on my foot! I don't think they are the greatest shoe for long walks, however. They are good for being on your feet all day, but I've walked several miles in them and I kind of slid around a little bit. I'm between an 8.5 and a 9 (womens) and I got the 9. The 8.5 was a little snug. I look forward to putting on some puffy smartwool socks and wearing them this winter. I think they will keep me warm. I might even put that mink oil on them to try to waterproof them. Anyway, I love my boots.

Love these boots. This is only my 2nd pair of this model; the first pair lasted almost 9 years! Comfortable right out of the box, wear like iron. They look good with jeans and khakis. Wearable from early fall throughout early spring. No brainer.

I bought the boots to go to Burning Man this year so they got hard wear in the desert for a week. They\'re well made and the soles are very comfortable, but the location of the elastic on the sides was challenging and the seam kept hitting my ankle, which unfortunately made the shoes unwearable eventually.

I received my boots the very next day. What more can I say? Zappos did the size conversion for me and I have a perfect fitting, new pair of boots. It's Zappos for me from now on!

Best boots ever.
I work with horses and live on a ranch in the Nevada desert. I decided to get another pair of Blundstones after my first pair ate it after about 6 years of hard use. These are the best boots, they fit right to size and are comfortable from the get go. I did find with this new pair that I had to scrunch up my socks where the boot meets the back of the leg to break them in. The leather was a little harder than I remember, but maybe it just has been so long....I wear them everyday and they are very comfortable. I hike the mountains in them here, wear them with shorts, pants....these boots are simply a cut above the rest. My left foot is a half a size larger than the right foot and with these boots I have no issues with my toe hitting the front or the other foot sliding around. They just fit really good and my feet have room. They are not too tight or too loose. I love my Blundstones and the longer you wear them the better they look.

I am thrilled to finally own this boot. It definitely runs smaller than listed. I am a US 7 or 7 1/2 and ended up with the US 8. That was a first!

A little stiff, but ok when you get it on.
I work in a wet area (bottled water production) at work, and these do everything I wanted. They're a little stiff to get on, and I need a long handled shoe horn to get mine on. All though the uppers are a little stiff, they're still flexible enough to bend comfortably when I need to kneel down. My socks stay dry.

Had a friend recommend these who had been wearing a pair for years. He said they were the most comfortable boots he had ever worn. He was right! The leather is broken in right out of the box, the insole is very comfortable and the sole has just the right flexibility. Perfect for just about any situation! Gonna get another pair in black!

A Perfect Shoe!
Comfy!!! Have worn them daily since arrival. When the soles are wet they do not squeak while walking tile flooring. Great color... can either look blacker or browner. Custom orthotics slip right in with plenty of room.

Shoe seems bit smaller than size chart they gave. A bit more stiffer than I expected. Nice looking shoe and for the function it’s fairly comfortable. Thought it would be more comfortable given the reviews. Overall fairly satisfied with look and comfort.

Best shoes I've owned -
First, they're much lighter than I expected. No heavier than a normal pair of shoes, and about 1/3 the weight of my Vasque hiking boots. Second, they're incredibly comfortable on day one - no painful break-in period. After a few days, they become even more comfortable as the ankle becomes more flexible. I've also not had to use my orthotics in these boots, as they provide plenty of arch support and I don't feel my foot over pronating.

I bought a pair of Blundstones BL500. I had a really old pair that were great so I thought I'd get another pair. Straight out of the box I walked all over Manhattan without any kind of break-in period. Super comfortable, no blisters, no problems.

I purchased these for my husband as a Christmas gift. Wasn't sure if he would like them or not, he loves them! They look great, are practical, comfortable, and you can dress them up or wear them with jeans. I would highly recommend these boots.

Great Boots; Great Man Trip -
Setting: Guy's trip to Chicago, Milwaukee, and then Green Bay for Packers v. Bears.
Issue: Wanted to carry on luggage.
Issue pt 2. Shoes take up lots of space thus could not pack another pair.
Solution: Purchased Blundstone's BL500 in black and got them Wed. for a trip starting Friday morning so no break in period. No Problem.
Review: Walked around Chicago for 10 hours, and on my feet for 14 hours in Milwaukee and all day in Green Bay. Shoes felt great, able to go out without changing shoes and most important my feet were warm as the Pack destroyed the hated bears. Go Pack.
Overall, I will by buying another pair in brown next week. You should really go get a pair soon if not NOW. Great shoes.

I use this boot for work and I love the way I can just slip them on and go in the morning.
They look great enough to wear out after work as well. I have had a pair of these before (a long time ago) and they are very durable.

I don't generally like boots without laces... usually they don't fit snug enough for me, these however fit like a glove from day one. I love 'em!

Two friends had these boots and they lasted forever. I bought a pair to wear for motorcycling. They look great, beautiful leather, and feel even better. Total comfort from day one. Will probably wear them for a lot more than I thought.

I've owned 6-7 pairs of "Blunnies" over the past 25 yrs. Great to kick around in. Comfortable, rugged and waterproof too. Ya can't go wrong!
