Fit great, feel great, look great! These shoes can vary in fit from pair to pair. I own 4 pairs. It might be prudent to order 2 identical pairs in case one doesn\'t fit quite as you\'d expect.

Great boots, I have them in Black, and they look as good today as they did 3 years ago when I bought them. Sizes do vary a lot (from a shoe salesman). These are slightly snugger than my other pair, which are a size smaller.

Outside Magazine featured these shoes and I tried them because of the lousy weather in the Northeast and need for a waterproof slip on that are presentable. These shoes are great. Fit well, light and look good. I am very pleased with the shoes and the service from Zappos.

Just got these in the mail, a day after I ordered them. Thanks, Zappos! I normally wear an 11 in sneakers so I ordered a 9.5 AUS (10.5 US, according to Zappos) because I'd read from places that this boot is roomy; however, they were too short and way too snug with two pair of athletic socks, which I'd be using them with in winter. I later found out that Australian sizing is different from American. A 9 AUS and 9.5 AUS are the same length, but the half-size indicates that it's a wide fit; since these are unisex I'm assuming they are made slightly narrow in the medium to accommodate female feet; I'm a D or E width normally and I will be ordering the AUS 10.5 to get enough room; hopefully they are the right size. While I haven't worn them for much time at all, the boots are very light and well-made. They are also very handsome! I love the slight reddish hue of the leather, and that will only get better with age.

These Blundstones (BL550s) are awesome. I first saw them in Australia and didn't buy them until last month after stumbling across them on Zappos. They fit surprisingly well and are easy to take on and off. These are great for daily tasks (walking the dog, etc.). The only other thing I think I need to mention is that they are slightly "reddish" brown. Zappos delivered them the day after I ordered them!

I wanted a pair of boots that look nice, but that are also very water resistant, as I'm moving back to the island where it rains a lot. These boots are great and worth the money. I usually wear a ladies 8.5 (39 to 40)in a regular shoe and I have a narrow (A or AA) width. These fit like a B or maybe a C width. I first ordered the Australian size 6.5 but they were too short. I am happy with the size 7. They come with an additional insole which I am using and I have also added another three quarter length firm arch support insole. I wear fairly thick socks and the boots fit fine now. They are super comfortable. I have a herniated disk in my back, so I like the fact that these boots have a special shock absorbing sole. Quality is impressive, sole is rugged. Easy on and off. Nice.

Tread traction is excellent. Extremely light boot, the most comfortable footwear I have ever owned. It is very much worth the extra cashola. I wear them every day, on my feet 8+ hours at a time and my feet feel fantastic! Terrific for hiking/outside as well as inside. Perfect for the beach--no sand can get in!

EXCELLENT Shoe!
Purchased these for winter-walking the dogs and looking smart in yucky weather. Never a damp or wet foot all winter. The included foot pads adjusted the slightly large fit to a perfect fit! Excellent, excellent build quality, and after a very snowy Midwestern winter, they still look as new. Great value!

Best boots ever!
I've had 3 foot surgeries and I work at stable with 21 horses. I've very careful about the shoes/boots I wear. These are wonderful. Have heard about them for years and finally decided to get them. They felt comfortable from day 1! I LOVE them! Love the fact that I can put my custom orthodics in.

Best boot ever, period. Light, comfortable. As appropriate at dinner as they are in the woods. Zappos service was excellent. Arrived next day even though I ordered standard ground delivery. Remember when ordering: Australian size 8.5 is American 9.5.

Ankle boots -
I haven't worn ankle boots very long, and actually prefer a taller boot. But the Blundstone boot is comfortable and light for desirable walking boot.

Great Boot!
Stylish enough for a casual night out, and tough enough for working in the outdoors. The insert pad is a great bonus. It makes the boot feel like a glove!

Finally! It IS what it says it IS!
I was apprehensive about giving these BL550s to my husband as a Christmas gift; especially after never having seen them "in person", BUT they are EVERYTHING Blundstone says they are. The insoles enclosed in the box made them even a cozier fit. I was concerned that the backs might rub on his legs and cause blisters. Didn't happen! He tells me over & over how great they feel and felt right from the beginning.

Give 'em a break -
These started out feeling a little stiff in the heel, but after wearing for just an hour they had softened up and continue to soften with every wearing. They are the most comfortable boots I've ever worn and provide incredible shock absorption all day long. I look forward to putting them on in the morning; they "give back" no matter how long the day.

A bit of breaking in -
First, my feet are difficult for boots. I have high, but rolling arches. On a Brannock device, my feet measure to a 6.5B (L) and just under 7B (R) respectively, however I usually wear size 7.5. I attribute this to my high arches. A size 38 European usually fits perfectly. I ordered both the 4.5 (which is a bit snug in the arches) and a 5. The 5 was just too big, so I kept the 4.5, but I am having to break them in. I am not using the Blundstone insoles, but some more supportive ones. This is actually the first day I have worn them out of the house. The right boot fits quite well, the left one is putting some pressure on my arch. I poked around on the internet for Blundstone fitting and several sites said that you might experience tightness over the arch. If after a few wearings it doesn't get comfy, I will take them to the cobbler. The boots seem to be of great quality. I very much like the look.

I bought this pair of Merrells last year in Dec and they are the most comfortable warm pair of shoes I have ever owned. I was going to buy new shoes for this winter but nothing feels as good as these. Mine are black suede, I think I will buy the black in smooth leather too. They fit my size 10 (not wide) feet perfectly. I wish they were available in Mens for my husband.

I love these boots!
These are the most comfortable boots I have ever owned. I am a horse person who works in and out of the muck most of the day. I have problem feet from wearing footwear that did not fit properly. These boots are perfect for what I need. I love that they are nice and wide.

Perhaps the best boot I have ever worn.
I bought these on a whim. I have always liked the look, but I have flat and wide feet. I tend to only wear Birkenstocks, Mephistos, Danskos, etc. to accommodate my situation, but I just had to give these a shot. Well, not only do they fit like a dream, but they might just be the most comfortable shoe I own. My lower back pain has receded some. I can walk longer with my feet hurting less. These things are amazing. Since they do not come in widths, I ordered the next size up and it's almost like these were bespoke. FANTASTIC! I will be buying these for as long as they make them. Thank you Zappos and thank you Blundstone!

My favorite shoes!
I've had my Blundstones for over 5 years now and I love them! Comfortable, rugged, great for all kinds of weather, and so classic. I've worn them in the city and hiking... I'm also a big klutz and I swear they help me stay upright. I also put those gel insoles in and that makes them perfect. I'm really happy to see them here on Zappos - I'm happy to spread the word about these gorgeous specimens of leathery goodness. Treat your feet!
