I absolutely love these shoes! I wear them everyday and do not have to worry at all about the rain! They fit perfectly, and I love the color as well. I am sure they will do just fine on a trail run. I recommend it!

These shoes are true to size and very comfortable. They are a little narrow in the toes, which works okay for me, but if you need a roomy toe box, they might not be for you or you may need to go up a 1/2 size. \r\n\r\nContrary to what one of the other reviews said, the color is exactly as it appears in the Zappos photo.

Good - not great.
These shoes are nice looking but not as supportive and comfortable as my old black ASICS. The arch support is not as good, surprisingly. But they have a good look... so much better than white athletic shoes! They hurt a little at the top where the tongue comes up. It's a little high... but I will try to unlace the first holes.

The Chicago Test -
It took a couple of weeks to break them in. They are great on the impact areas of your foot. The color is fine. May be a little bright to wear daily but for running it’s fine.
Laces never come apart and have a pocket to tuck them in too. No mud or rocks cling to bottom. I do a weekly 5-10 mile trail run. They are great for tough trails. They are waterproof when it comes to rain, mud, snow, and puddles. I did give them the Chicago test. I wore them for the Chicago Shamrock Shuffle. It had snowed 2+ inches and was melting. It was very bad slush. While others had wet feet just from the walk to the starting line, I was dry. The water did get in at the end. Melting slush on top of the toe that finally got in at the final 300 yards. But to be fair, I did stay dry for 3 hours after being submerged in heavy slush while others suffered from frozen toes. I do recommend these shoes. For the design technology they are a great value.

Asics Gel -
I've had a hard time finding a comfortable pair of waterproof walking shoes and was pleased to find these. I have not worn them in rain yet, but they are comfortable and look pretty snazzy. If there had been another color selection, I would have preferred a more subdued color, but since wearing them, I have surprisingly received many compliments on them.

This shoe would have been great except at the back of both heels it feels like a rope, seam digs in your skin and after a while it gets annoying. Too bad otherwise perfect. They look a bit sassy too...

Exactly what I needed -
These shoes are very comfortable and keep your feet warm and dry (with wool running socks of course). It has been -0 and we have a lot of snow. I have not had any problems with cold or wet feet.

Look out mud!
I am really enjoying my new Asics. The fit seems true to size, and these are comfy and sturdy. I do a good bit of trail running, and this time of year the trails are pretty sloppy, so the GORE-TEX is really nice. Also, these shoes are not nearly as heavy as most trail runners. These shoes sit happily in between a true trail shoe and a road shoe. Also, the GORE-TEX blocks wind, so on cold windy days they are great.

Great Shoe -
Is definitely waterproof. A little taller than the regular Trabuco, which gives my arthritic ankle and messed up tendon more support.
I'd recommend Asics Gel Trabucos to anyone.

I am an avid runner, who runs about 5 miles a day, and have tried many shoes in the past. All different brands and all different prices and have had foot pain and blisters with all. Since I have had my Cascadia's I haven't had a single blister, or any foot pain. This was my first pair of Brooks and I will never run with another brand ever again. I just hope that the Cascadia's do not change too much in the future.

The Best Shoes -
I work indoors and outdoors. I walk a LOT. My feet get wet hosing off decks and filling water buckets.
But not with these shoes. No wet, wet feet. They are so comfortable - fit true to size, great arch support, and my feet feel great after walking alot. These are the best shoes for outdoor walking/ working and still light enough to go inside.
The color is a little funky, but that is OK. I kind of like it.
Comfort, materials, even the shoe laces are cool looking and stay tied. These are great shoes. I have had other shoes of this type, they were nice, but these ASICS are the best.

I wear these as a "Mom on the go" It's often wet and slushy in Maine, and my feet stay dry. They're truly "paprika" in color (not at all pink- like I read in another review), so they're a bit obnoxious... They're a bit stiffer than other running shoes at first, so runners may have a longer break in period. I love them!

Almost perfect -
Although a little tight the first couple of times I wore them they are perfect now - the picture looks like a nice salmon/gray pattern - but in reality the salmon part is day-glow orange - I would have preferred salmon and gray - this is my second pair - the first ones were red and gray and lasted many many miles.

Nice Shoe -
Great shoe for grass with heavy dew, keeps my feet very dry. Shoe is just a little stiffer than most of the Asics I have owned.

Great waterproof shoe - too bright color -
I bought these for daily running and walking to work. Living in the Seattle area we're coming upon the season where waterproof shoes make running every day so much more livable. And so far I've worn these several times in the rain and through heavily dewed grass - the waterproofing works GREAT!
And for running comfort, it's excellent as ASICS always are. I had switched to Salomon running shoes (Salomon XA Pro 3D XCR) for the cool laces (you don't tie them, you just tighten them). After ~ 6 months I had a screaming case of plantar fasciitis. Switching back to the ASICS is helping it go away. I won't leave ASICS again!
I had to ding them on the look because of the color. Paprika? More like salmon color. Was that really necessary? I don't like brightly colored sneakers; maybe I'm alone with that. But since I wear these to walk to work I prefer to wear them all day too. But this color doesn't go well with a lot of my work clothing.

These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever had for running. I average about 8-10 miles per week. The only difficulty I had with the shoes is that I had to order a 1/2 size larger. I highly recommend these sneakers.

Great shoe! I was looking for something comfortable, stable, and dry for running over wooded, rocky terrain, and for walking my dog through wet fields in the morning. I hate soaked feet!
