I bought these shoes for a 3 year old who can not yet tie her own shoes and she is such a big girl that most shoes in her size are lace ups. We love them. Not only is she able to put them on and off by herself, but when we are in a rush I can get them on in a flash. We tried the other shoes with elastic laces and she complained they were too tight and I even had difficulty jamming her foot into them. These seem comfortable and she enjoys wearing them and they look cute with almost any outfit. I also went ahead and bought the same shoe for my 2 year old that is designed a little differently for toddlers feet and balance. They are just as cute and so easy to get onto a busy toddler who doesn't stay still long enough for you to tie a pair of shoe laces.

Great sneaker for my active 3 year old. Sporty, yet feminine. Tough sneaker with excellent support. Love that my independent little girl can put the sneaker on and take if off by herself. Makes her feel like a big girl. Super quick delivery.

These are great sneakers for my daughter, who has wide feet! The silver and pink colors are pretty and the velcro closures makes them easy to put on/take off. The fit is true to size and they are comfortable, my daughter says. Plus, Zappos shipped them to us in one day. Zappos rocks!

Comfy from day one and insole is even removable to fit her orthotics. Easy to fasten, which is great when we're in a hurry out the door!

Speaking for my 7 year old daughter, she found these shoes "Great for soccer because they protect your toes, they are comfortable, look nice, and are easy to carry around with the heel hoop." :) A great buy, the Skechers we had just were too narrow so we returned them for the New Balance which fit her much better.

These shoes fit well, look great, and according to my daughter, make you feel like you're walking with pillows on your feet. Love the velcro since she's not tying yet, and the criss-cross of the "lace" for the velcro seems to assure a tight fit. Great service from Zappos as well. I'll be back.

Finding stores that sell shoes to fit my daughter's wide foot is always difficult. Zappos has solved the problem for me. These New Balance shoes are stylish and very comfortable and my daughter just loves them. I definitely recommend these.

Great shoes, wonderful ankle support & velcro stays closed!
These shoes look great and have wonderful ankle support. My daughter has trouble with her Achilles tendon and these shoes give her very good support. She's not a big fan of tying laces, so the velcro was a hit - it keeps the shoe on securely and doesn't come apart the way cheaper shoes will sometimes.

These are great athletic shoes for girls. I am a fan of New Balance all around (for myself and husband as well). Quality construction, excellent support for the foot and ankle. My daughter's foot is flat and her ankles pronate and these shoes really "hold" her foot well. And this style is super easy with the velcro straps. Makes them a little more fashionable looking for my 7 year old who won't usually try on a running style shoe. These are great!

Good shoes but could be lighter -
These have been good shoes for my 4-year old, but they seem a bit heavy to me. That might just be because I am used to the very light Tsukihoshi shoes which are great.

As usual, New Balance creates a great product. I just wish they would keep a style for more than one year!! The z strap is functional, and sticks well.

Great shoes! Easy off and on! The removable inside makes it easy to dump out all the sand my daughter gets in her shoes at the playground!

Zappos number 1 -
I ordered six pairs of children’s gym shoes as we are going to Disney World this month. The order was perfect, the service was great and when I received my order everything was perfect. The time frame was the best. I will shop at Zappos again and refer them. My daughter Ann referred me to Zappos as that is where she buys her family shoes. Great job Zappos!!!!!!!!

I turned to you for service because you have been so prompt and friendly with my previous orders.
