Started wearing the Mizuno brand cleats while playing college football. Once I tried on a pair of the running shoes I can't imagine wearing anything else. These Wave 5 are another top notch product from Mizuno. If you're looking for a great shoe, this is it. Extremely light weight on your feet, have breathing material to where you can actually feel the wind blow though to your feet. Tough as nails and the most durable shoe I've personally ever bought. I can wear & wash these shoes for years before replacing them so I don't mind the higher price tag.

These are great shoes! The fit is perfect. They are very comfortable. Just the right amount of cushioning. They are not too firm. I wore out one pair, tried another shoe, then bought another pair of the Inspire.

Maybe the best... this may be the best running shoe I've ever owned. I have to be honest; I have gained a lot of weight in the last few years and no longer run. I use these shoes for walking and will start jogging with them in the near future. Needless to say, I am a heavy 'runner' and have a neutral/natural gait (maybe a slight over-pronator). Recently, I have owned and worn New Balance, Asics, and Adidas running shoes. These are the first Mizunos I've tried and have fallen in love. As the other reviewer mentioned, they are flexible, light, and have a soft ride. In fact, my only concern is that they feel too soft, and I am worried that the midsole will compress prematurely. The uppers are very breathable and soft, and they offer adequate support. The size (both length and width) are accurate/true. If you need a well-cushioned trainer, try these. So far they have proven to be a great value. As long as they don't compress too quickly, they will continue to be.

Very flexible forefoot. Light weight and very breathable. Heel collar doesn\'t hold down your heel as good as the Asics GT-2140. Also the mid foot support isn\'t as supportive as the Asics GT-2140. Overall, a good running shoe. It\'s a good addition to my 6 pairs of running shoes.

 |  | You're pretty awesome. Let me count the ways: 1. You make it easy for me to find great shoes. That should be enough. BUT I SOLDIER ON. 2. Pretty darn good website. There are lil' bugs here and there (sometimes narrowing a search doesn't totally work, but for the most part it does), but comparing you folks to some other nightmarish sites I've used, especially with the sheer amount of product you have for me to see...well done. 3. Convenience. HOLY CONVENIENCE, BATMAN! Much like Ian McKaye of the band Fugazi, I am a patient boy, I'll wait, I'll wait, I'll wait, I'll wait. But when I order from you I don't have to. I've had shoes get to me so fast I actually thought there must have been a mistake because it got to me TOO quickly. Guys, that is some serious service. This is why I buy shoes exclusively from you. 4. Customer Service. I had a store credit recently, but like an idiot, I deleted the email with the credit code. I called up and talked to a totally friendly, funny, helpful guy. He said he'd take care of emailing me the code and all would be right with the world. OH NOES! The email, actually never showed up. So I called back and spoke with a totally friendly, funny, helpful girl (with a completely pretty voice, I'll be honest) and she got me a coupon code while I was on the phone (THAT'S good turnaround) and explained that there were the dreaded *technical difficulties* and the other dude didn't actually screw up. Guys, I've never talked to a company on the phone and ended with such a good feeling. I have friends that I don't enjoy talking to on the phone that much. Close friends. Is it ok if I just call to talk sometime? I'm kidding. Maybe. 5. You ALL seem to have a sense of humor. You guys are frakkin' funny! Your email, any of the “dig deeper” sort of stuff (blogs, joke of the day, etc.). That is beyond refreshing, thank you so much :) Honestly, as long as you guys are around, you got my bidness.
