I loved these shoes. They were cute and comfortable but like the previous reviewers they did not last. I probably wore them about 10 times (usually for walking the city) and the ankle strap ripped out. Also the rubber soles wore away and rubber pieces actually fell off. For the price I expected them to last much longer. I do not recommend to anyone.

I love these sandals. They are extremely comfortable and cute. I love the burgundy color. True to size and not too bulky. I have mostly worn them on light walking trips. But I can see taking these to Europe and spending the day in them. They\'d be cute with dresses too!\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

I bought these shoes because they are more feminine looking than most of what Keen sells. I enjoyed these shoes and wore then as my primary after work summer sandal. I'm so disappointed that while on a 3 mile walk not 1 but both straps tore, 1 on each shoe. I'm mad because I liked these sandals, a lot. I was unfamiliar with this brand but took a shot. I guess I'll look at the Keen selection again. Is there a way for all the Zappos comments to be sent to the manufacturer so they can do some tweaking with their design?

I love these shoes! I have worn them for hours walking around the city. I had to order one size smaller, as I am between sizes, and the one up was too big.

Very nice shoes. I can spend all day long and forget to take them off when I come home. It's my second pair of the same shoes. In the first pair the strap snapped off, but Zappos sent me the new same shoes for exchange. Thanks to Zappos.

I have these shoes in black and red. I could walk long hours immediately after I put them on. They cushion the foot and give arch support. My feet can breathe and still have heel and toe protection. Easy on and off with hook and loop. Look great with shorts, pants, or dress. Can be worn with socks, too. When outside strap came unsewed I could still walk and not feel awkward. Still felt comfortable after 8-hour trek around Manhattan in June. \r\nTwo problems: 1.After repair (not about to give these up, love them too much), I have to figure out how to glue pink stitching back to look like the rest of the shoe. She repair guy not helpful in that area. 2. Want them in every color, but at risk of having too much of a good thing. Just want them on my feet every day.\r\n

These shoes are stellar! So close to sandals, but more support, and no problem if you need a pedicure. They sort of remind me of Keens, but more streamlined. The other reviews said that they ran big, but I got my usual size and they were just fine, especially since they have the adjustable velcro strap across the instep. Cute, stylish, and comfy right out of the box!

Love them! They do run big, but only in the length. I decided to keep mine instead of exchanging for a half size smaller. They are cute for everyday and were fabulous for camping too! No break in period; immediate comfort.

I purchased the J-41 Virgo sandals in burgundy and I love them. They are extremely comfortable. They have good support and the strap stays in place doing a good job holding the shoe on. The only disappointment has been that the stitching came out on the strap, causing the strap to break. Zappos was great, replacing them immediately. Now the stitching is starting to come out on the second pair! This looks like an easy repair so I will just take them to the shoe repair. I bought a pair in black and have not had the problem. Even with the stitching issue, I love these shoes and would buy them again.

Initially these sandals were great: no sore feet, no bumped toes and no blisters after wandering around hot European cities all day for many days in a row. On the 10th day, however, the entire assembly holding the ankle and heel strap to the sole tore out on one side on the left sandal, making it completely unusable. I would definitely expect better workmanship from such an expensive pair of sandals. I've contacted Zappos to see if they can help me get a refund/replacement from the manufacturer. But I'm pretty bummed these fell apart so quickly and that I may be out the money.

My first pair of J-41. Very comfortable and stylish. No break in needed. Size may be a bit bigger than normal. I usually wear a 10, but this 9.5 is still very roomy for my feet.

J-41 Virgo is a very comfortable sandal that provides a little more coverage during the cooler spring months. I usually wear a size 10, but had to return them and order a 9.5. Perfect! Love the burgundy color.

Slim fitting Keen-like!
This shoe was comfortable straight out of the box though I've only walked a couple of miles. I love Keens but they're too wide. This fits better and is a little smarter perhaps?

Cute around-town sandal -
I love the look of this shoe; it's quite comfortable, and more feminine than a Keen sandal. The arch support is OK but not adequate for an all-day city trek, and the sole is not as substantial as a Keen sandal (which has more arch support, though not as much as I'd like--I have very high arches). The leather on the ankle strap is thin, and overall the shoe is light. I will wear this for work and errands around town. I'm still looking for a pretty sandal that can go all day on cement and please my high arches--I might have to go back to a clunkier Dansko for that.

J-41 - weird name for a great product -
If you are looking for a shoe that is like a Keen/Teva sandal, consider this one. It runs narrower than Keen, but is much more cushiony without all the bands of colors. Extremely comfortable for all day wear. There is slight back/heel on the shoe which I find holds my foot more securely than totally open heeled versions, probably why my feet don't tire wearing this shoe.

Love these shoes!
This is my second pair of J41s from Zappos - they are incredibly comfortable and I am constantly getting compliments on them. They are an excellent alternative to sandals - my feet stay cool, and yet have the support of a real shoe.

Cute casual shoe.
I work in a healthcare setting. This is a cute and comfortable shoe I can wear to work & run errands in. It's a trimmer looking shoe compare to other J-41's but fits great.

Where have you been all my life?
These are so comfortable and very cute on. I probably bought them a half-size too large (they run true to size unlike some J-41s) but I really don't care- I've worn them for the past two days and I've had them about 60 hours now! A great shoe- even my teenage daughter wants a pair now.

Your people know what is the most important thing to do to bring customers back time after time after time. You can have an excellent product, but if the customer doesn't feel important, it makes no difference what one is selling. Too bad more people in the business world don't apply
