It works!
Although I've been an Asics loyalist for years,I was a little leery when the description of the shoe talked about stability for uneven terrain. But it works! I didn't have the fear of twisted ankles that usually accompanies trail running. Kudos! *one note: they could be better colors!

Asic's Trail Shoe -
I bought this shoe because I wear Asics Gel Nimbus for aerobic workouts and have pronation issues with my feet - the Gel Nimbus are awesome, so therefore, I ordered these trail version for my trail running days. I am disappointed in the comfort and stability that Asics claims this shoe provides. There is a pressure point on the top of the shoe that creates alot of soreness on my foot - it must be the engineering design of the tongue, laces, and hardware that hold the laces on (they are metal). The stability is not very good. Asics claims this shoe gives strong stabilization on rocky terrain, which I don't find to be the case. My foot often falls off balance and twists if I step on a small rock, which can cause ankle and foot injuries. I would probably not buy this shoe again, but I would try another Asics trail runner style.

Good on foot -
They feel pretty light when running. The ankle tends to feel loose after about 5 minutes of being active. These are my first pair of ASICS; I was using Adidas running shoes before. Overall, good running shoes.

Trail Runners great for Winter -
I bought these ASICS because I needed a warmer shoe for winter running. I usually wear Mizunos, but the ASICS's Gel-Trail Sensor is a great shoe. Very comfortable, good traction and support for the winter road conditions. I always buy my running shoes 1/2 size up; therefore that is how I rated the ASICS. I wear orthodics, so I rated the shoe with them.

Not my favorite ASICS -
I've been wearing ASICS trail shoes since day one. These have been a disappointment. Maybe because I've gotten too used to the ASIC Trail Attacks which fit like a glove. The Trail Sensors are stiff, bulky and heavy. The upper material is very stiff and hard. I've run in them twice and hated the whole experience, now they are used as walking shoes.

I should have read the shoe description more closely! I over-pronate and need excellent arch support in my running shoes.
Although these are wonderful shoes for the trail environment, they just do not suit my needs for a supportive running shoe. Which is disappointing to find out after spending a lot of money on them.
I will stick with the 2100 line of trail running shoes in the future.
